"She and Andreas are handling a Burned One."
"Another one?" Farah asked incredulously. "Burned Ones are solitary hunters. Why would there be two in the same place?"
"She and Andreas are handling a Burned One."
"Another one?" Farah asked incredulously. "Burned Ones are solitary hunters. Why would there be two in the same place?"
" im not sue.." saul said
"We have to find the one that hurt you," Farah murmured to Saul. "And when we do, I will be the one to kill it."
saul sighed, pulling farah closer
Farah hugged him tightly, not caring what Ben would see and think. She just needed Saul to be okay.
" ow ow ow ow! farah! babe let go!" he yellped
Farah jumped and released him. "Sorry!"
Ben arched his eyebrows when Saul called Farah "babe," but he said nothing.
saul held his side " easy.."
"Right," she whispered, taking to cupping his face instead.
saul sighed and leaned into her hand.
Suddenly, Farah didn't care about Ben being there. She leaned in and gently pressed her lips to Saul's.
saull jumped a bit Ben! he thought to farah but kissed her back.
I don't care. Farah kissed him sweetly until Ben cleared his throat.
"I mean, I figured you two were together, but you couldn't tell me any other way?"
Farah chuckled "Sorry, Ben."
" yeah, sorry.." he said with a pain expression
"Saul, are you alright?" Farah asked worriedly.
" yeah, just dying slowly." He joked
"You're not funny," Farah growled softly. She quickly pulled away from him at the sound of approaching footsteps.
"Farah? Ben? Saul?" Andreas called.
"Shit," Farah breathed.
Saul sighed " not a word."
Ben nodded.
Farah discreetly ran her fingers through Saul's hair to calm him before Andreas and Rosalind stood over them.
saul could still feel the fire burning through him but not as bad. " hey guys..not a bad day for a picnic.." he huffed out as a joke to lighten the mood.
"Don't joke, Saul," Rosalind ordered, looking down at him with a powerful expression.
Farah didn't look up, her eyes stayed locked on Saul's.
saul winced a bit. " how the hell are we getting back to alfea?"
"We're walking," Rosalind said simply. "Farah, help Saul. Let's go."
saul tried to stand up, whining softly an clenching his jaw.
Farah quickly supported him. "Can you walk?" she whispered.
