"Wai-" He sped up to keep up with him.
"Wai-" He sped up to keep up with him.
Skye looked back, but only for a moment, heading strainght for the forest that stretched out through the heart of rhe city.
He ran after him, curious. Is this what Alice felt like?
Alice? Who might that be? thought Skye, wondering how to tell the other about his telepathy as he strode deeper into the trees.
He managed to catch up with him, panting slightly. "You're fast, damn."
Skye gave him a weird llook. "And I'm the one who's limping."
"There's a reason I hate gym class." He said, laughing.
Skye sighed, "yeah, my least favorite class of the day."
He hummed softly, taking out a cigarette.
Skye huffed, speeding up a little.
"What?" He asked, lighting it.
"Not to be rude, but I have a very strong dislike of that particular habit."
He stepped away a bit, taking a quick drag. "Sorry."
"It's alright, It's not like I can control you."
He smiled softly at him.
Skye gave him a soft smile back, leading him deeper into the trees.
"It's nice out here." He said, taking another quick drag.
Skye nodded. "And the perfect place to not be cooped up."
"Yeah." He agreed.
Skye smiled, finally stopping in a small clearing.
He looked around. "Didn't know this was here…"
"Have you ever tried to travel off the path before?" asked Skye,
"Not really. My older cousins used to talk me into watching horror movies when I was really little. Scared me from doing that for life." He admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. "I mean, it's kinda stupid…"
Skye was trying not to laugh. "Well the horror movies are usually wrong." he said, "Or at least as far as werewolves go…"
"Yeah, but murders are very real." He said, smiling.
