Not to bash the other players on here, but I've not been able to find a clean, straight RP on here. Anyone want to do that with me? I don't want it to be solely romantic, but I would like some ships. Lots of action. Preferably sci fi, dystopian, or some other, nonmagic fantasy. Open to suggestions.
Awesome, man!!! Great. Alright, so, basically, we've got a lot of options. I know you're already in Territory Nine, which is a dystopia, so do you want to do something different than a dystopia? I'm a dystopia junkie so if you're fine with another dystopia, and if not, that's totally great too because I'm gonna be happy with whatever we choose. We could also do something set in like a modern-day type setting, except with underground criminal societies that kidnap teens and people for whatever reason we choose. Depending on what you like, we can come up with some prompt ideas to choose from and go from there if you like :D
Whether or not it's one on one is up to Headband-Warrior, and if he wants to do a 1-on-1 with me, that's perfectly fine! I can still RP with @PrettyLittlePyro, too, because I can work with lots of RPs at once. ^u^ We can do a separate one-on-one. And if Headband likes more people, we can do one together. Either will work fine. :D
So, @Headband-Warrior-is-riding-solo, do you want me to give you a list of ideas and you just pick whichever one you like best? :)
Idea #1: A future, post-apocalypse dystopia. The government has collapsed and the world is in anarchy. Several large groups have formed their own village-like cities and their own "governments." The land is terrorized by gangs of savage people who seemingly have little mercy. We could do something based off of this, maybe where some characters living in a protected city find themselves alone in the wilderness when their city is destroyed and plundered by a gang.
Idea #2: Something more modern-day, but with the same dysopian feel to it. Maybe we incorporate underground, secret criminal societies. For example, maybe one character is just a normal guy and his friend, wife, brother, or someone else that he loves gets killed by a criminal– then the character finds out that his deceased companion used to work for either the criminal society or a good organization that opposed the criminal society. Then this leads him down a very complicated path as he's sucked into the madness due to the fact that he knows of the criminal society– and he's not supposed to. Idk. There's a lot of possibilities with this one.
Idea #3: Character A has no memory of who they are or where they came from. They wake up in an alley, alone and confused. They meet Character B, who's a normal person. Character B takes Character A in and tries to help them. Later, they discover that Character A has special abilities– powers, essentially– because they were experimented on in the past. And now the scientists that did this to them want them back.
Hmmm… there are a lot more but I'm trying to sort through them all and decide which ones to focus on.
Which do you prefer? Both of them have a lot of cool ways they can go. Actually, if you wanted to, we could combine them. After all, the post-apocalypse is the future. Even though a lot of technology has been destroyed, some people could probably still have very advanced stuff– which means that laboratories could still exist, albeit probably hidden. We could make it to where there are powered people in the post-apocalypse and sort of merge those two ideas together. Or, if you don't want to do that, I'm fine with just picking 1 or 3 and seeing where they go.
Okay, that's fine with me! Do you want to use templates here or just use links to character descriptions? Does it bother you if I end up using a few characters? (if it does, I'll try to stick with one, but if it doesn't, I'll probably start with two or three).

It doesn't bother me. I'm guessing I would be Character A?
