I'm in too many roleplays but I'm gonna do it anyway.
Okay, so in this rp, a self-absorbed God is banished to earth and falls in love with a quiet, shy mortal.
I would prefer for it to be mxm and I would like to be the mortal please.
No gore and no smut please! Mild language is allowed.
Hoi! I is interested. May I joineth?
Yes of course! Do you want a template or should we do it blind?
Also thank you for letting me join!
I'd rather be the mortal but whoever you want to be is fine.
I'm completely fine with being the god, just for some background my God is named Verose and he's the god of fire.
Gotcha. My characters name is Levi. I'll start if that's alright with you.
Levi sighed as he exited the building. Finally, he had been let out of the last class of the day, which he had quite liked, but at this point he was tired and ready to collapse. Glancing down the road, he noticed a small coffee shop, and decided to go there and get ahead on his project. Oh, and buy a coffee, of course. Sure, it was 4:00 PM, but it was never to late for a coffee with Levi.
Verose snapped his fingers once with a sneer, "that'll show you to mess with a god, mear mortal scum." He snarled, grinning as the corpse of what once was a man disintegrated before his eyes. This is what he had been reduced to, protecting these mortals instead of in the heveans flaunting his beautiful fire for all to enjoy for the rest of eternity. "All just because I set a few villages on fire…they had deserved it too, a bunch of things and reckless lowlifes." He muttered as he turned on his heal and headed to a small cafe near a campus. Running a hand through his bright red and blond highlighted hair, he yanked open the door and sat in the back booth
Levi's eyes glanced over to the door as he heard the bell jingle, and man entered with blond and red highlighter hair. Quickly, he looked away, settling at a table a few down from the man. He opened his laptop and began typing out a document, a story for his creative writing class. A few minutes later, a woman brought him his coffee, and muttered a quick "thank you" before she left and he took a small sip, returning to his work.
Verose caught sight of the young man a few seats down and tilted his head curiously. A while ago he figured out that he could figure out people's emotions, much like an empath but a bit stronger. He glanced up as a woman came over and asked him his order "ah, yes. Uhm I'll have a Mexican hot chocolate with chili flakes." Once the waitress wked away, he focused back on the man, feeling an odd tug towards him. He brushed it off as his homosexuality pulling him to any man and glanced down at the menu. After a few minutes he found his eyes trailing back up to the man "damn…" He muttered to himself in slight annoyance
Levi noticed the man looking at him and he glanced away, down at the keyboard of his laptop, flustered and pink-cheeked. He couldn't shake the feeling that he was being looked at. It made him feel uncomfortable, but…important, in a way? Honestly, nobody really even bothered to look at him most of the time. Even though he was nervous and flushing, it secretly made him feel happy when somebody paid attention to him.
He tore his gaze away once more as the waitress came by with the drink. He nodded in thanks and took a couple sips, enjoying the warmth and slight kick of heat. After a few moments, Verose stood and walked over to the man "what are you typing?" He asked in curiosity, sitting down in the booth across from him
Levi glaced up, caught off guard. "Oh, um… Just a project. For school." He shifted uncomfortably. Why is he sitting with me? he wondered, trying to avoid eye contact.
"you have questions, don't you?" Verose asked, glancing down at his drink. "And you're confused as well as flustered?" he chuckled in surprise
Levi met his eye. "Um, yes, I guess," he murmured.
Verose smiled charmingly "ask away," he said, looking at the other and taking in his features.
"U-um…" Levi fidgeted with the strap of his backpack. "Who are you?"
He tilted his head, debating on whether to tell the other man the truth or lie for now. He decided to settle on half "My name is Verose. what's yours?"He crossed his arms over his chest, trying to be opening and welcoming but finding it hard to crack the other's shell. He found this both irritating and intriguing
"Oh, um, it's Levi." He murmured. He was always self conscious of his name, though he didn't know why. He knew Verose would probably get annoyed with his quietness and leave, like everyone else did.
"Levi," he repeated "a powerful name. A strong name." a smile flitted across his sharp features. He leaned forwards on the table and took a sip of the drink, "you must think me strange for asking questions."
Levi blushed a bit as Verose complimented his name. "N-not really," was all he could muster, not meeting his eyes.
"really? A stranger coming up to you, sitting with you and asking questions isn't weird for you?" He huffed a laugh and dug his hands in his hair to pull it back. He would never understand why human beings were so trusting or kind. It made him insecure and off balanced, something he hated to be."
