North shivered a bit in the cold and wrapped her scarf tighter. She pulled out her phone and called Zyra, shuffling a bit to keep warm.
(Okay then)
Zyra looked at her phone when it started ringing and quickly picked it up, signing out of her Chromebook and closing her sketchbook. "Hey, North."
“Hey where are you? I’ve been waiting for like ten minutes.” She asked.
Zyra glanced at her clock. "Shit, I forgot. I'm sorry, i'll be there in a minute." She answered.
“Okay..see you soon..” North hung up and sighed a little, rocking back and forth on the heels of her feet to keep warm.
Zyra quickly stood up and headed out the door, not caring about the fact that she wasn't wearing her jacket. She quickly made it to where North was and smiled at her. "Hey, sorry I'm late."
“Why don’t you have a jacket?!” North exclaimed, hugging Zyra briefly.
Zyra chuckled. "Umm….I forgot," She answered, hugging North.
“You’re crazy. Let’s go inside.” She replied, taking Zyra’s hand and entering the restaurant.
Zyra had a small smile on her face. "North, I'm perfectly fine." She let North take her into the restaurant.
“Anyone who doesn’t wear a coat in this weather is not okay.” North smiled a bit as well, getting their usual table near the back of the restaurant.
"But you're much more important and I was already late." Zyra followed her to the back of the restaurant.
“Nonsense.” North replied, letting go of her hand and sitting down.
"But it's true," Zyra said, sitting down in front of her.
“You shouldn’t believe you aren’t less important. Being late? That was true.” North replied, glancing down at the menu.
"I know that." Zyra said, glancing at the menu.
“Okay..” North replied quietly, not saying anything else since Zyra seemed a little on edge.
Zyra sighed and looked over the menu. "Soooo….."
"How have you been?" North asked, the first lame conversation starter that came to mind.
