I'll come up with a better name later- for now, we're doing the imaginary friend one, correct? and if so, do we want character templates and which character did you want to be?

name: Emily (Emmy, or Em) Marlov
age: 9
general personality: a quiet, intelligent, and slightly standoffish to the average person. not intentionally rude, but doesn't really have a sense of what is considered inappropriate behavior in certain situation. her understanding of emotions is pretty extensive, she just doesn't typically know how to express her feelings.
general aesthetic/style: as she gets older, what her parents assume to be her "rebellious phase" continues out as she wears a lot of grunge style clothing, but as a child, she doesn't really have much sense of "style".
gender and pronouns: female s/h (later on, it's s/t but as a child she doesn't really know)
physical appearance: she's always been pretty small, height wise and weight wise. not in an unhealthy way, just generally smaller appearance wise. her long, curly hair has always been something she wishes she could change, but she also cannot imagine herself without it- so she's always torn about whether or not to cut it off or not. her dark green- almost brown eyes are always in a stoic expression, to go along with the rest of her face most of the time. her dark skin, makes her stand out against her stepmother, but manages to look almost exactly like her biological father.
any little, important details that may need to be learned on the way: she still sees her mother and spends certain holidays with her. she's about the only person she feels somewhat happy around and seems to be able to be herself around her.

age: 10
general personality: In personality as well as in appearance, Lumi is pretty similar to a cat. He mostly does what he wants, and he's very stubborn and dramatic at times. He spent most of his life alone, so he's not super well versed in interacting with other people, and he tends to be a bit bitter and snippy towards others, although he's a bit more mellow after dying and is trying his best to not be too rude to Emily.
general aesthetic/style: Lumi likes to wear baggy, brightly colored clothes, usually. He likes things with patterns, depending on the pattern (usually cats or citrus of some kind are his biggest favorites). He also wears pretty clunky shoes.
gender and pronouns: Male, he/him/they
physical appearance: 3'4, very thin, although that isn't really evident since he wears such baggy clothes. His hair is generally unkempt, although he's trying his best to have a decent appearance.

any little, important details that may need to be learned on the way: He was born in a pretty normal home, but his mother had to abandon him after his father passed away. He was tossed around Foster homes until he ran away, and eventually died in the streets, which is why he's currently dead. He's also terrified of dogs

Honestly, I'm not really sure. Em would probably be just back from her mother's house, and kind of miserably living in her father's house (with other siblings), but that's about all I got.

I guess Lumi probably would have just died and been assigned to her? So maybe a new "imaginary friend" to deal with ✨trauma✨

Then I feel like that's the way for us to go. Just do that and see where it goes. :)
