(Okay, so I decided to start it at a time where the two are first meeting and Wren is asking Elara to do art for him)
Wren played with the hems of his hoodie looked at his phone's time, he was supposed to be meeting a girl named Elara Jupiter somewhere around that time, he just didn't know when she was going to be there. He was actually quite nervous about the meeting despite his thick facade of calm.
He sat in a small chair, waiting for a ring of a doorbell or even just a simple knock. He honestly just hoped the artist would at least show up and talk to him. He was honestly amazed that he'd even gotten the artist to agree to come to his house for a meet-up.
(Sorry it's short. I tried T^T)
(It's okay. It's the effort that counts, not how good it is.)
Elara was practically bursting with excitement. Her first commission, perhaps! She rushed up to the door, and gave a couple short raps, and then stood, trying not to move too much. Maybe uh, Wren would be excited too? When a black-haired, sandy-skinned male opened the door, she suddenly noticed how shy she was. Elara raised up a hand to wave hello, saying, "Hi! I'm Elara, Elara Jupiter, and you must be Wren?"
Wren smiled brightly at the woman in front of him. He gave her a few enthusiastic nods in response to her question and motioned for her to come in. His place of residence wasn't one all too extravagant, but it was at least clean. The walls were simple and white within the house and leather furniture was placed sparingly in rooms.
He walked away into a nearby room that appeared to be a kitchen. "Would you like anything to drink?" he asked. His voice slightly muffled from the wall but still relatively clear.
Elara had to pause before she gave an answer. She was dying for some tea at the moment, but she didn't know if her doctor would approve it. Deciding to get tea anyways, she replied, "Yes please! Do you have any tea?"
'Course, just because she was going to someone's house, didn't mean that she wouldn't have the urge to doodle on something. Her arms were always filled with random doodles when she didn't have her sketchbook with her. That day was no exception. She pulled out a black marker she'd been holding and uncapped it, starting to doodle something in a free spot.
