(Oh my freaking heck I keep deleting my replies now I'm writing them in google docs cause I can't trust myself anymore wth)
Edith downed the last of her drink, savoring the last few gulps. In her peripheral vision, she saw Zack coming out of the restroom, ruffling his hair. She gulped once more, swallowing air.
Settling down for her muffin, she turned it around, looking for a point of attack. She ended up nibbling on the stray blueberry at the corner. She inadvertently stared at Zack from the corner of her eye, noting how he was sitting alone, scrolling through his phone. I should talk to him.

Zack was indeed sitting alone with his muffin and water, flicking hair out of his eyes as he scrolled through his Pinterest. He pawed at a few blueberries in the muffin, not entirely sure why he got it. After all, he had been craving streak earlier. And he still did. He was unaware of the woman staring at him, just nonchalantly scrolling through his phone with faint, bored hums.

@Yoaisami

(Woop I'm back with more homework)
Time to do something Edith's mind urges, impatient and stubborn. She breathes heavily once, twice, and stands up, making a motion to walk towards the boy. She grazes her hand over the cool tables separating them. Seeing this sudden movement, Zack looks up to meet Edith's uncertain gaze. "H-hey." Edith stutters, flushing a delicate pink. Darn it! I imagined a smooth entrance. I should have thought this over. Zack smiles, though she could have sworn there was half a grimace hidden behind it. "Hey." He says, an easy grin crossing his face.
"U-uh. The weather sure is hot, huh?" Edith fidgets with her plain creamy white t-shirt, painfully obvious of the awkward mood settling around the two.

Zack had glanced up at the first catch of movement, raising his eyebrows expectantly. He smiled a slight, unenthusiastic grin, not wanting to deal with another person.
"Hey, there," He greeted with a slight sigh. "The weather? I guess it's okay." He shrugged and took another lick of his water.

(That's okay. It fit him okay but I just wanted to point out you know

You're not writing a book 🤷🏻‍♀️)

@Yoaisami

(Is it ok to restate what your character has already done though? I just want to know what you are ok with :0 )
Edith felt her face heat up a chiliad shades of red. She had caught a barely audible sigh escaping Zack's mouth while he replied to her comment. Perhaps this was not the right time, but it was too late to back out now. Her mind raced, trying to find a topic that wouldn't be answered with a simple yes or no, coming up empty. The boy had already turned away from her a few moments ago, drinking his water in slow gulps.
"You.. You are a demon right?" She said, desperate for something to say.

(Yeah thst's fine. But stuff like directly telling me how he reacts to her isn't okay. Bc he's my character ^-^)

Zack almost turned back down to his phone yet when she asked another question he looked up at her red face.
"Oh, yes, I am a Demon. Everyone knows that," The Demon sighed exasperatedly.

@Yoaisami

(Rip my character has no idea how to interact with someone XD)
*What kind of stupid question was that? Of course he was a freaking demon; What kind of statement was that?
Edith started hyperventilating, taking a step back. Her mind was setting off every alarm it had, screaming for her to abort the mission.
"Uh.. Ok. I'll see you later?" Her reply ended with a question mark. She didn't bother looking at his expression, half-running to the door, her brown hair swirling behind her. She would try again later, she told herself.

"Uhhh…. Alright…" Zack said with a slight shake of his head as the girl fled. "Weird…" He hissed softly. "Humans are weird…" He went back to his phone with a sigh, taking a bite of his muffin.

@Yoaisami

When Edith ran out, the sweltering heat blasting through her, she almost turned and walked right back in if not for the fact that the boy was still inside. She mumbled some unintelligible words, shaking her head from side to side. The jeans she had worn in the morning were constricting her movements, although the garment of clothing was never meant for fast-paced sprinting.
After a while of not paying attention of her surroundings and running away from her frustrations, the world slammed back into her. She looked around, trying to make out where she was. Apparently, she had ran half-way across the main campus, the track field a few yards ahead of her. The sun was setting now, the air a bit cooler now. The heat was just bearable. Sweat began accumulating in uncomfortable places. The smoothie that had been refreshing a while ago was now a weight in her stomach. She felt like throwing up what little she had eaten.
She decided wearily to head back to her dorm.

Zack stayed there for a while, until the sun set completely over the campus and he felt comfortable enough to go to a nice restaurant alone. He stood, grabbing his things and walking out. He turned for the town that was nearby, his mouth nearly watering as he walked intently for an amazing steakhouse a few minute's walk away. He really didn't care if he got jumped in the night; if he died with a steak in his tummy, he'd die a happy Demon.

@Yoaisami

(( Alright! Sorry about the length,, hewo to you too :3 ))
No matter how hard Edith tried, she couldn't stop thinking about her actions the day before. It had been bugging her ever since she ran shamefully back to her dorm. She sighed in frustration, slouching further down, her head almost touching the floor. It was unfair to her that her love was one-sided, even though it was completely up to the other person. She scrolled through her assignment notifications tiredly, groaning inwardly as the pile of work grew and grew. Hopefully all this would get her mind off of him for the time being.

(That's okay!!! ^3^)

Zackary woke up rather early that morning to attend a class. It was his English 101 class, which had a lot of Humans. He tried his best to concentrate in his spot in the back of the class as girls (who had crowded around his seat anyway) whispered to him and asked him for things so pointless they weren't worth his ears, let alone a Contract. But he shook them off in his next class, which was Psychology. Once out of there, he made his way to the quiet, air-conditioned, library. He sighed a soft breath of relief as he sat in the quiet room and locked the door behind him, his bag in tow.

@Yoaisami

(Our school's water line (or something like that) broke and we got transferred to another school for the day)
Halfway through the school day. Edith twisted a finger through the locks of her hair, counting down the time left in school. Only a few hours until freedom. She decided to finish it up by studying in the quite library. It was a peaceful place with little to no sound, and she could focus much better compared to anywhere else.
She walked down the brightly lit hallway and pushed open the door to the room of books, feeling a bit tired.

(nICE)

Zack started setting out his things on the gray table, humming softly in the silence of the room. His favorite place in the entire library was the quiet room, and he was quite shocked when he found out the school had one. He always took advantage of it in case he wanted to study and cool off from the heat. The only bad part is that there wasn't any shutters to ensure his privacy. But he could live with it.

@Yoaisami

(I imagined the quiet rooms as multiple glass rooms lined up- and like private rooms in each lol)
As Edith set up in her room, she realized that the room in front of hers was Zack. She almost bolted immediately, but grudgingly stayed. Why should he shape what I do? She unintentionally pouted, grabbing her book and opening it to the noted page. She glanced at Zack momentarily, hoping he didn't see her.
She wanted to sink into the floor and never come back.

(Alright, fair enough,)

Zack leaned forward slightly and he felt his shirt rise up on his hips. He ignored it, assured that no one would be looking as he searched for his pencil and highliter. He hummed softly, his voice echoing back at him.
