Christopher sat down and talked to the king for a while. the king was nice but it was an immensely boring talk, it felt more like a test to see what he is like.
“So . . . What was he like?” The Princess had her head rested in her hands, eyes wide, ready to hear everything. “He was very polite and had quite the charming smile, he wasn’t awkward or sour and he quite likes the architecture of the castle,” The Princess was practically beaming.
After what had felt like an hour maybe because it was he left the king's room and walked down the hall assisted by someone, he had no idea of their position they just told him to follow. Soon though he was brought to a room and was told it was where he would be staying.
“You think I should go and meet him right now? Or should I wait?” The princess asked. “It is your choice Kieara,” The princess threw her hands in the air. “I think is should meet him now, you know where he’s staying. Help me change, quickly,”
He walked out of his room as soon as he walked in and decided to go exploring, even though he didn't know if he was allowed to.
Evelyn finished brushing Kieara’s hair and stepped back. “Let’s go find him!” She shouted. “A bit loud don’t you think, Kieara?” She blushed, embarrassed. “Now come on,” Ev laughed and opened the door.
Christopher found himself back at the front hall after a ton of dead ends and turning down the wrong hall. he decided to walk down the hall to see what was at the end of it.
“He’s probably got himself lost,” Kieara said, leading the way to the front hall. “You can finish dusting later,” She added, almost reading Evelyn’s mind. It was almost like she could see the dusting wasn’t done. Well, someone arrived in the midst of my dusting.
He kept walking not looking where he was going then some how tripped and fell onto the ground, could have been air or the carpet responsible.
Kieara peeped her head around a corner, both Eve and herself hearing a thud. Kieara started giggling and disappeared around the corner. “Are you alright Prince Christopher?” Kieara asked. Evelyn stood near the corner, her hands folded in front of her.
He looked up and slowly stood and looked at both of the girls. "Yeah I am perfectly alright, I don't believe the air wants to cooperate with my walking though." he said and laughed a bit.
Kieara turned her head to Ev, “He’s funny too,” She gasped. Evelyn laughed at her reaction, covering her mouth with her hand. “Now introduce yourself properly,” Kieara nodded. She brushed her skirts and curtsied. “Princess Kieara,”
Chris watched them for a second then bowed back, "Prince Christopher." He replied.
“I’ll be continuing my dusting,” Evelyn turned and left. “Here! I can show you around while we have time and, so you don’t get lost I can have Ev fetch a map of the castle for you,”
"That sounds great." he replied to her then lowered his voice "I already am lost"
She laughed. “I’ll take you to the gardens first, follow me,” She walked a bit further down the hall and opened a pair of French doors to a sun room.
He nodded and followed. he walked into the sun room and looked around. "It is nice in here I like it."
“I do to,” She nodded in agreement. She kept walking and opened more doors, the doors to the garden. “But out here I like better,”
He turned and followed her to the garden, "wow, it is beautiful out here." he said quietly.
“You act as if you’ve never seen a garden before,” She said. She took a step toward a bed of Dahlia’s and bent down as if she were to pick one.
"Well, I guess I don't get out much, usually as far i get outside is the stables." he joked and stepped forward.
“Do you have a favorite flower?” She asked, studying the petals of the Dahlia.
"No, not really. It is kind of hard to choose." he said then walked over to look at the flower with her.
“This is my favorite, the Dahlia,” She said. She had done her research on this flower and could very much sketch or paint one from memory.
"It is a pretty flower." He said looking at it. He honestly didn't know much about flowers only a few names of them.
