Howdy! May I?
(Not that I need any more rps either but whatever)
Sure! do you have any idea's?
I like the first one!
Great! I was hoping we'd do that one lol.
So do you want to be the person having their birthday or the unsuspecting guest?
I can do either which do you prefer?
Well, I've done the person that it's their birthday so I kinda want to be the guest.
Ok! Do you want to do templates or just jump in?
Maybe just jump in? I haven't done that in quite a while.
Ok, and same do you mind starting?
(Nope, not at all!)
Oliver slowly approached the door. He had been invited to a birthday party and he didn't even really know the person very well. It was the guy's 18th birthday so it was pretty huge. Oli took in a breath and slowly let it out. He rang the doorbell and waited to come inside.
Finn looked around at all of the guests trying to keep his breathing steady. It’s just a few more outs before it’ll just be the two of them. He caught the eye of his girlfriend across the room talking with her parents. It was all thanks to them that this party was a thing. He slightly resented them. When the fire bell rang he glanced at the other hosts but it didn’t seem like they noticed so he opened the door.
“Hey thanks for coming how are you?” He asked. In all honesty he didn’t know half of the guests. Lili handed out invites to the entire school so he wasn’t surprised when he had no clue who the other boy was. That didn’t stop him from repeating the welcome the Robinsons always gave at parties.
"Er, I'm good how are you?" Asked Oliver with a smile. He had his hands in his pockets since they had nowhere better to be. He could hear the murmur of people inside and he hoped that at least one of his friends was there.
Finn smiled softly. "there are refreshments in the dining room and games in the living room. If you have any questions just find me or one of the Robinsons," He said stepping out of the way so the other boy can come in. Lili stood beside him rapping her arm around his waist.
"Thank you." Oliver stepped inside and started scanning the house. He didn't see any of his friends right away to he just went to the living room and he sat down in an empty chair. He almost felt out of place, everyone seemed to know the birthday boy pretty well and here Oliver was not even able to remember his name.
(How far in the party should the freeze start)
Finn shut the door and turned to his girlfriend. "I can't believe you invited like the whole school," He whispered smiling down at her. She giggled.
"Only the best for my soulmate," She said pecking him on the lips. He knew this party was more for her than him. She cared more about this type of stuff than he did. If her birthday was first and they got the frt soulmate thing done and over with they could spend his birthday having a small dinner and watching Netflix.
(I don't know, but maybe not too far?)
Oliver saw the happy couple together, he smiled. No matter how much he denied it, he was a sucker for romance, both fictional and real. He returned his focus back to the group of people close to him. He didn't know them well, but he was fine hanging with them until one of his friends came.
Finn followed Lili around the house greeting people and talking to them. Her hand gripping his.
Oliver leaned back in his chair and looked around again, eager for it to hit time. He knew that nothing would happen for him and it would be an instant before the was free to leave, but it would still be cool.
Finn and Lili were walking hand in hand until they suddenly weren't. Lili stopped making Finn stop with her. He turned to his girlfriend to see what was wrong but she was smiling and well frozen. He glanced around the rest of the room and saw that everyone else was as well. He swore under his breath trying to detach Lili's frozen hand from his own.
Oliver looked down at his phone for a bit to check the time, but when he looked back up everyone was frozen in place. It was so strange to see everyone just frozen, like a still image. It took him longer than it should have to realize that he was Finn's soulmate. Right as he realized that he jumped out of his seat, eyes wide. He wildly looked around for Finn.
Finn was in the dining room still stuck to Lili's hand. "Fricken great! My soulmates probably not even here. She could be on the other side of the fricken world!" He yelled talking to himself He finally ripped their hands away and sat on a dining chair. Face in hand.
Oliver jumped a little at Finn's voice. Unsure and quiet, he made his way to the dining room. His eyes found Finn and he let out a small sigh. "Er… hello…" Normally he wouldn't be this timid and shy, but this was definitely a different situation.
