Name: Seiichi Chinen
Age: 18
Quirk: Corporeal Manipulation– The ability to move through objects and people by making his body corporeal or not at will
Hero name: Ghost
Appearance: Seiichi has a mop of thick, raven hair that he never bothers to do anything with, because his hair won't be tidy unless he shaves it all off, and he learned after a mishap in middle school that a shaved head is not his best haircut. His hair is just long enough to be considered shaggy, and he can put it in a baby half-ponytail if he wants. Seiichi has medium olive-toned skin and brown, almond eyes. He is on the taller side, standing at 5' 11", but has a bit of a slouch. He has a very distinct, lazy, way of moving that suggests he has all the time in the world.
Personality: Seiichi is quiet, often one to get overlooked, but underestimating him is a danger that few smart people fall prey to. He's shrewd, making quick judgements and observations about people rather than speaking. Because of this, he is a good listener and very astute and observant. He doesn't like spending lots of time with other people, and sometimes doesn't understand people who do. Seiichi loves learning, and will pore through books or articles like no other. He will soak up knowledge like a sponge and firmly believes in the statement "knowledge is power." He looks to do things smarter, with less effort, being somewhat lazy unless he is truly engrossed in something.
Backstory: Seiichi had a fairly basic home life, with his father and mother as well as his younger brother, Kaito. Kaito always looked up to Seiichi, and while sometimes Seiichi finds his brother annoying, it's obvious he loves Kaito. His mother and father were both heroes, but his mother got injured on the job and had to quit, living the rest of her life very carefully with help from her sons and husband.
Motivations: Being great, improving himself, becoming a well-known hero, fixing the flaws in the hero system.
Strengths: He's smart, learns quickly, good at both offense and defense.
Weaknesses: Awkward with other people, not good with teamwork, easily frustrated by others.
Sexuality: bi but prefers guys

@Shigaraki

(I love him! So, should we start just like, on the first day of them coming to the school, perhaps? Or do you guys have any suggestions for starting?)

@Exis

(That sounds good to me! And I'll try to have my character up by tonight at the latest, sorry for the delay!)

Name: Hironori ("Hiro") Takahashi
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual
Quirk/Power: Kinetic Energy. He can redirect and alter the amount of kinetic energy in a person or object.
Limitations of said power: He needs to touch a person or object in order to access their kinetic energy, and he can only do it while touching them. The moment he lets go his power will cease to work on them. Long distance opponents give him the most trouble because of this. Physical repercussions of overuse includes temporary arthritis (when he absorbs too much kinetic energy) and about-to-collapse levels of exhaustion. He has to focus completely if he wants to keep a person stationary, otherwise they'll escape his hold and have the perfect opportunity to counterattack. He also has to eat a lot with regular use of his power.
Backstory: TBD (but nothing tragic and his family is still alive)
Personality: Hiro's one hell of a trickster who loves getting into all kinds of trouble. That said, he never means any sort of harm to others and tries to avoid embarrassing them too badly. He's extroverted and loves talking to new people, but he has a special place in his hear for each of his close friends. ENFJ-T.
Likes: American food, video games, training, hanging with friends.
Dislikes: The fact that he's short, enclosed spaces, low-energy crowds.
Strengths: Teamwork, speed, thinking on his feet.
Weaknesses: Physical power, strategizing, focusing.
Appearance: Picrew He's about 5'5".
Other: He's half American on his mom's side, and Japanese on his dad's. He grew up in America, but moved back to his birthplace to attend school. The name he went by in America was Leo.

@Shigaraki

(SORRY it's mega sucky and I wasn't really sure what to do so uh :') I apologize. But here's my starter.)

Despite the coolness of the morning air, perspiration beaded on Akiro's brow as he stood in front of the massive school building. The structure loomed over him, gluing him to his spot with what could only be identified as awe. Or was it fear? He admired the flawless architecture, the overall majesty of the place. Heroes were made here. That realization alone, combined with the fact that this school was now his own, was enough to make his stomach clench with excitement. No… wait. That was intimidation.

Akiro didn't belong here.

He swallowed and carefully made his way up the stairs. His untied shoelaces flopped limply against the concrete with each wary step. He stopped in front of the door and inhaled deeply, a futile attempt to calm his racing heart.

This was it.

Beyond this door he would either come to realize his dreams, or have them completely obliterated by the reality that he was not a hero.

Deep inhale.
Deep exhale.
Whatever happened, he swore to himself that he would try his best.
And it wasn't like he had anything to lose.

(you’re all good!)

Seiichi glanced up at the sign above the school as he walked toward it. He’d been studying up on this place and could tell a listener several facts that they would have never cared to learn. But to Seiichi, no detail was irrelevant. He walked towards the school, slowly at first and then faster. He was going to get inside and get there early, because he wanted to learn everything he could as fast as he could.

As he approached the front doors, he noticed a boy just standing outside of them, looking like he was hyping himself up or something. Seiichi slowed his pace until he was stopped behind the boy, raising an eyebrow.

“Excuse me, but are you going to go inside?” he asked bluntly, wondering if this kid was just going to stand there all day. He looked the boy up and down, trying to figure out who he was from what he’d heard about the exams to get in. He didn’t appear to be any of the top scorers, but Seiichi could be wrong. He still had yet to see the boy’s face.

@Shigaraki

Akiro stiffened at the sudden voice that seemed to have appeared from nowhere. He spun around and locked eyes with the boy behind him, realizing that he'd been too lost in his thoughts to even notice that someone had walked up behind him. He'd need to work on paying better attention to things.

"Oh— yeah," he said awkwardly, blinking a few times. "Sorry." Geez— why was he so socially inept? "Just— um— psyching myself up for the first day." He offered a weak, forced, breathy chuckle, as if it were some sort of joke. It was not.

He sucked at all things communication.

Seiichi nodded. He had guessed as much. “It is a pretty big honor to be able to attend this school,” he agreed. “And that kind of turn it into a nerve-wracking experience, because you don’t wanna mess it up. You know?” He finished awkwardly, trying to give the guy a reassuring smile.

He wasn’t good at helping other people feel better, usually either just giving them facts or saying something that turned out to be completely opposite of the person wanted to hear. He felt like he’d been getting better recently, especially with the help of some of his friends. They were all excited for him to go to the academy too, and Seiichi knew for a fact that his friend Tadashi had been bragging about it to some of the other people they knew. Seiichi was very aware that all of the students here had big shoes to fill.

Hiro calmly leafed through a pamphlet of the school as he explored the halls for the very first time. The map on the page he'd bookmarked was rather small and difficult to read from afar, so he spent more time than he'd care to admit squinting at the text.

It'd only been about twenty minutes of him wandering, but he reluctantly decided he'd better get to class as early as possible while he was there. He tucked the pamphlet in his backpack pocket and ambled down the route he'd already memorized as the quickest way there. After all, the earlier he arrived, the more time he'd have to socialize before class actually started.

He wasn't expecting to meet some of his peerts outside.

"You guys in this class, too?" he spoke up, nodding towards the door with a wry smile, seeing as how they were unintentionally blocking the door.

@Becfromthedead group

(Sorry I'm late, a lot has been going on that I didn't anticipate aaaa)
Naoki had been distracted, walking around the school to check things out before going to class. He hadn't talked to anyone yet, but instead quietly observed his surroundings. A few strands of hair fell in front of him, obscuring his face, and he held his books close to his chest, as if trying to hide behind them. The school was pretty large, but he was sure he'd be alright at finding his way around.
So lost in his thoughts, Naoki didn't notice the time until he was almost late, and he found himself speedwalking to class. He was relieved to see no one had gone inside yet, and that there were, in fact a few classmates standing by the door.
Naoki leaned up against the wall, not wanting to barge in on a conversation he hadn't been invited to, but nothing was stopping him from listening in.

@Shigaraki

Akiro glanced at the door behind him, his face flushing a bit at Hiro's comment. "Oh—" He stepped aside to move out of the other boy's path. "Sorry," he mumbled. He glanced at each of the others standing around, wondering what their abilities were, and how undoubtedly more suited for hero work each of them must've been. "But yeah. We'd better get to class." And by we, he specifically meant himself. He shuffled through the door and made a beeline for an open seat towards the back of the large classroom, one where he could hopefully be unnoticed by most of the other students. He slumped down into the seat, his backpack sliding off of his shoulder and thudding against the floor with a louder noise than he intended.
