Eden’s POV:
I snuggled in his embrace, loosening the right hold I had on him.
“Just hold me, please…” I murmured.

My phone rang in the middle of a very heated game of Scrabble with Lillian and Christine, another one of my friends. Seeing that it was Gray, I apologized and excused myself.
"Hey, sweetheart, what's up?"
Sterling's POV:
"Of course, babe," I murmured gently, pressing a kiss to the top of her head before buying my face in her hair. "I love you…"
Gray’s POV:
“Hi,” I smiled into the phone. “Were you busy?”
Eden’s POV:
“I love you, too…” I murmured, wrapping my arms around him, curling up a little to make us a bit more comfortable.
“Nah, not really. Did anything happen?” My voice was edged with concern; it was obvious what I was referring to.
Gray’s POV:
“No,” I answered softly. “She… hasn’t called yet. I was just wondering when we you want to go see Amanda.”
Sterling's POV:
I hummed softly and stroked her hair, willing her to go back to sleep. She needed it as much as she could get it. We both did. But I could handle going without some sleep if I needed to stay up and help my girlfriend.
Gray’s POV:
“No,” I answered softly. “She… hasn’t called yet. I was just wondering when we you want to go see Amanda.”
“Oh, yeah, of course!” I was already grabbing my purse. “Should I meet you there?”
Eden’s POV:
I relaxed, letting him stroke my hair. It made me feel better—him holding me in his arms, protecting me. My heart swelled at the fact that he was willing to stay awake if it meant I’d fall asleep first.
“Sleep, Ry…” I murmured, a small smile grazing my lips.
“Oh, yeah, of course!” I was already grabbing my purse. “Should I meet you there?”
Gray’s POV:
“Let me pick you up,” I said to her with a smile even though she couldn’t see it.
“Alright,” I agreed.
After hanging up, I returned to Lillian and Christine to apologize profusely. They waved me away, understanding that there was something more urgent at hand.
Gray’s POV:
It took me about five to six minutes to reach Violeta’s dorm. When I did, I sent her a text.
GRAY: I’m outside the dorm. Should I come in, or no?
VIOLETA: I’ll be right down
I said a quick ‘bye’ to my friends and was out the door, taking the elevator down and sprinting out into the sun to throw my arms around Gray.
Gray’s POV:
I barely managed to catch Violeta and not fall down, swinging her around as her arms wrapped around me.
“Looks like someone missed me a lot,” I teased her the second I set her down on her feet.
“Are you kidding?”
My eyes shone like the sun as I stood up on my toes and pressed my lips to his.
“Obviously.”
Gray’s POV:
I kissed her back, wrapping my arms around her, lightly biting on her lip as a way to tease her
“That’s good,” I replied, nuzzling her neck. “Every boyfriend wants to be greeted like this.”

Sterling's POV:
"I'll sleep as soon as I know you're sleeping," I promised, my voice muffled by her hair. "It doesn't make much of a difference to me…"
Eden’s POV:
“Ry, it’s okay,” I smiled, his breath tickling my neck, the vibrations in his voice sending shivers down to the tip of my toes. “I’ll fall asleep before you know it, listening to the sound of your heartbeat.”
Sterling's POV:
"You know I'm not going to fall asleep until you are, so there's not point in arguing," I mumbled, biting back a yawn.

A faint, rosy hue dusted my cheeks.
"Every girlfriend wants someone as amazing as you," I replied, craning my head to kiss his temple.
Eden’s POV:
I smiled stupidly at his statement.
“All right,” I murmured. “You win.”
I could, of course, hear the tire in his voice. But my love for him skyrocketed more than it already had because of his actions. I was so glad this man was mine. I’ll be holding on to him forever.
(Funny how it’s 10 AM for Violay 🤣)

Gray’s POV:
“Well,” I kissed the bridge of her nose. “Too bad for them I’m yours, right?”

(Lol. We could skip?)
Sterling's POV:
I sighed and kissed her temple gently, letting my lips linger there as I spoke again, "Good… G'night, Eden…"

"Yeah," I agreed, a smile gracing my lips. "Too bad for them."
(All right. XD)
Eden’s POV:
When I woke up again, Sterling’s side of the bed was empty. I felt around for him but was met by emptiness. I sat up straight, panic filling me.
Where was he? Where did he go?
Then I heard water running in the bathroom and sighed in relief. Of course. I’m such an idiot.
