Bouncer: It's an A-Oh-Gay day. I was just in cosplay so… Anyhow, it's' like almost 2 here.

Gryffindork: Can someone give me feedback on this idea before I post to my blog? I was going to run it by some friends, but I guess since you’re all here I might as well ask.

Gryffindork: Thanks

Gryffindork:

To cast a patronus charm within itself is not a widespread phenomenon, nor is it a commonly needed asset for witches and wizards outside of timeframe in which Harry is attending Hogwarts. Although it is commonly wondered about in the fandom, we have to consider some of the consequences of both animagi and casting a patronus within the context of the wizarding world. This can be based on both geographic location, time period, and even individual person.

For example, do you think you could hold a mandrake leaf underneath your tongue for a solid month? Without serious motivation (perhaps even more so than doing so for your werewolf friend) I do not believe I would be able to complete such a task. A patronus charm is equally as baffling. Think of your happiest memory? You must consider that not everyone can conjure a happiest memory. This doesn’t mean we’re all bitter and sad, simply that maybe the happiest memory we need hasn’t occurred yet.

I’ll be discussing the topic and relation of animagi and the patronus charm later in the week as promised with some of your questions. Including: Is your patronus and your animagus form the same animal? If my patronus changes does my animagus form change? And more! I’m working on gathering textual evidence at the moment.

Gryffindork: Is that too wordy? I get complaints about being wordy a lot.

Bouncer: Sounds good, I haven't re-read the books since I was in like middle school, so I wouldn't be able to fact check it. But it doesn't seem too wordy.
