(Okay. I’ll post a character when I’m on my computer.)
(Okay. I’ll post a character when I’m on my computer.)
(👌)
Name: Regina
Age: 27 in appearance, but really as old as time, maybe older.
Gender/Pronouns: Nonbinary woman (or, as I like to call it, a woman in the same way sparking water is soda), she/they.
Orientation: Pansexual
Appearance: Regina is the very definition of beauty. She generally appears as a woman with long curly black hair cradling her face, which can be described mainly as youthful and soft. Her features are perfectly symmetrical, but not so much as to look uncanny valley, and her gold eyes and russet skin are perfectly matched by beautifully made robes, woven with fabric taken from the sunset sky itself. Her cheeks always have a faint warm blush to them, and she smells like warmth and just a hint of something familiar from your childhood that you can just barely remember.
Personality: Regina represents all of love, the good and bad. But when she takes to a lover, she’ll stick to them like glue and will remain with them to the end of their days or until they say they’re done, whichever one comes first. She’s respectful of her partners, but clingy all the same, and is always seemingly in the honeymoon phase of new love. Really, she treats love like a teenager pining for a relationship who’s never been in one, which can lead to a little toxicity, but at least she takes no for an answer.
Backstory: will develop.
Other: Her sacred animal is the crow, and she likes helping mortals with their relationships regardless of whether it’s a good idea or not.
(Hi Aphrodite snjsnjxknjksk ok but seriously, I love Regina she’s amazing)
(Yeah, I did base her pretty heavily off of my interpretation of Aphrodite but toned down to include less murder. Less.)
(Yeah, seems like a good call pfft)
(Lol yeah. Should I start?)
(I mean, sure why not)
(Oh, did you want to discuss plot more or something? I’m fine if you do!)
(We can just go ahead and start, and maybe discuss plot when needed?)
(Okay, sounds good.)
(I mean, I am also open to posting a starter. But y’know, I’m probably just being impatient dskjscnk)
(Oooor I posted last almost two days ago and I really need to step up my game? I've been busy, soooo… sorry.)
(You’re good bro djkdkjd I understand)
(Still invested in this)
Regina had planned on surprising their girlfriend with flowers, a token gesture. But these were no ordinary flowers, they were eternity lilies. Immortality on a plate, all you had to do was consume one and you'd become immortal. A whole bouquet, and with blessing, you'd become a deity. She hoped she could convince Magnolia to come with her, but mortals seemed to like their ability to die despite everything. They understood, to some degree, what it was like to want an end to things, but honestly it seemed like a chore to die.
Magnolia stood vigil in the temple, making sure the flame stayed lit. She watched someone make a sacrifice and set it in the fire through the veil covering her face. Behind the fire pit stood a statue of the imposing goddess, the fire making strange shadows on her face.
Being a priestess of this temple, she had learned death’s place in the world. Death was inevitable for mortals, a natural thing. She could not see the point in trying to avoid it.
As the person left the temple, Magnolia could see the deceased staring after them, fading in and out of perception.
“Go,” she called to the spirit, and they seemed to turn to her in surprise before fading away completely.
