A bullet whizzed by Iiana’s head as she scrambled after her partner. She could smell the tinge of burning hair as she felt a good chunk of it fall off completely from the right side of her head.
“Shit!” She hissed as she ducked behind a natural landmark, letting her teammate shoot at the rebels. He snapped at her sharply from the ship, but she barely heard him as she launched herself towards the ship again.
Behind her, rebels were shot down by Anja’s furious array of shots, most of which would have hit her if she shot up too much. She could hear them screaming in agony as they were shot down, injured, and killed.
Iiana barely limped up onto the ship, gulping the easy, light air of it as she sat down, supporting her right leg.
“Shut it already!! Don’t warn me let’s just go!” She howled back at him once she was situated behind a wall, safe from enemy fire.

Anja nodded as he closed the breach to the ship and ran to the cockpit. The cargo ship began to hover, taking a moment due to it's bulk. It had guns on it, although they weren't as powerful as guns on an X-Wing or a Star Destroyer, they held their own. The ship in question was called a YT-2600 Light Freighter, and it was an overall average ship. Decent storage, enough space for a crew of 5 to comfortably live, and a hyperspace module. As they broke atmosphere, they jumped to hyperspace and ended up halfway across the galaxy, near Sullust. He took a moment, and allowed his ship to float. He de-stressed, taking a few deep breaths before looking at the girl. She looked young, and was very pretty. He, however, had wondered why she of all people would have shown up at a rebel base. After checking for Aerospace traffic, he began to question her.

"What the hell were you doing on Dantooine? More importantly, ya put that whole job in jeopardy!"

Iiana stood up after patching herself up with a rouge piece of cloth she found in her uniform, then shifted back from her pretty blonde self as the captain of the ship approached her. She stood up shakily, brushing ash and dust off of herself.
She glanced up as he spoke to her, huffing angrily.
“I’m fine, thank you for asking!” She growled in response, her anger still present. “The mission went wrong because you had the audacity to alert them that we were taking something from them! I had them fine on my own, just talking and flirting and doing whatever the heck they like. You have some tough attitude to blame it on me.” She crossed her arms like a child, but still glared him down.
“Though, I do have to thank you for saving me.” She wrinkled her nose.

The Captain nodded as she criticized him for not asking how she was. He realized he probably should've asked, but didn't think to. He understood she was angry, and sighed as she glared him down. As described, he doesn't understand other people's emotions well, and doesn't portray his own. Pulling up a star map, he punched in coordinates for the Death Star, which was only a few planets away. He sat back for the ride, giving a "you're welcome" as the ship flew itself. Anja hadn't realized it, but that big gun he shot those rebels with was still in his hands. He walked over to the armory, and put it back, making his way back over with a few drinks in his hands. They were normal beverages, and he was very thirsty, thanks to the humidity of that planet.

He popped one open, and offered the other to his colleague. The sip he took brought on him a wave of relief, sitting down at the Pilot Chair. "Well… are you okay?" He didn't address him ruining the plan, but he thought about it.

sorry for dying on ya, i had dinner//

@tungsten fastfood

(Sorry about that!)

Iiana hadn't realized with the gun either until she was watching him walk away with no apologies. She sighed deeply, feeling the air fill up and rush out of her lungs satisfactorily. It was thanks to him she was still alive. She should probably be thanking him, too. Without him she probably would've been shot down and turned in for ransom or something. However, with him, their location may be known.
Iiana moved to the cockpit, meeting him there as he sat down. She accepted the drink with a soft smile.
"Thanks. And yeah, I'm okay. Thanks for saving me and all." She said this with a slight tone of shiness, before sitting on another seat and gulping down the drink. She felt it flow through her like a river, or one of those drinks one would get if they woke up super late at night.

Anja watched as they approached the Death Star–they couldn't be more than 20 minutes away, at most. He punched in commands into the terminal in front of him, and then flicked a couple of switches, speeding down to prepare for landing. Because the gigantic planetary base moved towards them, they approached the docking bay, watching as the shields lowered and they boarded the station. As they landed, the breach to the ship opened up, and the man exited the ship, along with the crate, and Emi. Standing in front of them was none other than General Tarkin and Darth Vader. He bowed down before the Dark Lord, presenting the crate and explaining it's contents. He had worked with the Imperials before, but had only met Vader once. An upside of him not showing emotion well was fear and anxiety didn't bleed through either.

"Greetings, my lord. We have completed our mission, and retrieved what you asked for." The crate opened to reveal millions of credits, the schematics to experimental TIE Fighters, ATAT Walkers, storm trooper weapons, etc. However, locations for rebel bases were also in the crate, and Vader examined the holo-map. "They weren't on the list, but I figured it would be of value to you."

Vader's cold eyes fell upon him and his partner, Iiana, his judgement casting down upon the two like a thunder storm. "I am impressed with your work, Mr. Pesha. Your skills have proven to be quite an asset to the empire. Your reward will has been transferred to you."

Iiana walked after the head of her party, allowing him to walk forward and navigate through the Death Star. The woman looked around the somewhat familiar base, her big, heavy boots clicking as she walked.
Before she knew it they were standing in front of the Dark Lord, keeping her eyes calm as possible. While she had traveled through the Death Star a lot with other parties, and met a lot of generals, it was still imposing to meet Vader himself. Nevertheless, even as he turned to survey her, she stayed frostily calm, tilting her head to look around the room with interest.
She wasn’t the most memorable traveler or goer of business, but she got the job done most of the time.
However calm she was, she was itching to get back outside and back on their next job.

"Thank you, my lord," Anja replied, "and it's always a pleasure doing business with you." Vader dismissed them, and the Captain rose from the ground, brushing his pants off. He pulled out a device from his back pocket. It was listed in Onderonian–a dialect of the basic Galactic Standard. He checked his account to see 100,000 credits transferred–a good sum for a job such as that. He looked over to Iiana and showed her the value as he walked back to the ship. "How does a 50/50 split sound? I figure that's plenty for each of us." He waited for her to enter, and then closed the breach, sitting back down in the cockpit. He had a job from Jabba that needed done–a defense mission.

"Our next job is to defend a couple of ships smuggling spices from Sriluur to Tatooine. The payment on that one will be less, but we're going to get… compensation? We're going to get something that ain't credits, but is valuable."

He flew out of the Death Star, moving over to fly to a nearby refuel station. It was ten minutes away, and they refueled for a quick moment before carrying onwards to Sriluur. Anja took out a bottle of Namana liquor, a substance made from the fruit of a Namana Tree. It was slightly addictive, and gives the same effect as smoking tobacco without the heavy addiction. He looked very stressed and tired, as the two had performed many jobs over the past month without rest. He turned the ship onto autopilot and reclined in his seat, taking another swig of the liqour. "That's better…" he mumbled, with a sigh of relief.

Iiana nodded as she followed her partner, staying silent until they left the base and were back on the ship.
"If you need more than 50/50 for the ship you're absolutely okay to take some of mine." She walked by Anja and settled in the cockpit, picking at the cuticles on her nails. Her nails were a mess of course, but the extra skin always bothered her. It was probably an effect from stress and the constant burning of fuel of some sort.
Though, suddenly it hit her in regards of "compensation".
"What does compensation mean? What are we going to get for doing this?" She glanced at her captain as he drove. "And don't be that way– you better share." She smiled amicably, sticking out her hand. She always managed to look happy and well rested, which was a feat, for she never got sleep.

Anja listened to Iiana, thinking for a moment about the offer. While more cash would be nice, even he knew that would be a dick move. He shook his head, as this ship performed well enough to service them in their line of work. He did look at the star map one more time, before she mentioned compensation. The Captain though about this, too, trying to process the information given to him. After a moment, he gave an answer, passing her the liquor with a slight grin on his face. "Well, I think we're gonna be getting either a new ship, or we're going to get our own AT-ST–one of those two-legged vehicles made by the empire."

He yawned, and stretched out a bit, becoming a bit more docile and open thanks to the Namana Liquor. His eyes became relaxed, and his muscled loosened up a bit. As they approached the refuel station, he ordered the servant for a full tank, slipping the alien 200 credits. Their ship had a humongous fuel reserve, and Anja tended to make use of it. "Man, I hope this job'll be easy. I dunno if the empire cares about Jabba's drugs or not, or if the rebels do. I think the only people who would care are pirates."
