"Well… We could eat on the couch," Autumn suggested with a shrug.
"Well… We could eat on the couch," Autumn suggested with a shrug.
Alex grumpily huffed. “I guess.” He sat up slowly.
Autumn chuckled at him and jumped out of the bed. "C'mon, then. The sooner we get out, the sooner we can get to the couch."
Alex huffed and stood to his feet slowly. “Alriiiiiiight fine.”
Autumn pecked him on the cheek with a slight grin before walking out to the kitchen. "And don't forget that I'm taking you out tonight~!"
Alex plopped down the steps and on the couch. “Ooooh! Where are you planning on taking me?”
"It's a surprise," Autumn teased with a laugh. She grabbed the box of cereal from the table and poured herself a bowl of it.
Alex chuckled. “I bet you’re gonna take me to a McDonald’s and buy me one hundred dollars worth of nuggets.”
Autumn laughed more and gave him a look. "Excuse me, sir, but I am more classy than that!"
Alex glanced at her knowingly. “I bet all of those nuggets that’s what you were gonna do.”
"I swear on my grandfather's grave that it was not," Autumn promised him as she gave him a look.
“Ooh your grandfather. Alright, I believe you.” He smiled and returned her look.
"Well, if either of my parents were dead, I'd swear on them," Autumn said with a raised eyebrow.
Alex raised his eyebrows. “How have I not met your parents?”
Autumn shrugged. She didn't really like to talk about them, mostly.
"They moved to England as soon as I turned eighteen and left me to raise my sister alone."
Alex pursed his lips. “That’s rude of them. At least you guys have a good relationship.”
Autumn shrugged. "If you can call it that, sure," she mumbled under her breath.
Alex tilted his head. “I mean you and your sister.”
Autumn blinked. He wasn't supposed to hear that. "Oh. Yeah, I guess that's true."
Alex grunted and grinned. “What? You look disgruntled.”
"I'm not disgruntled… You just weren't supposed to hear that," Autumn admitted softly with a small shrug.
Alex shrugged a bit too. “Hey, just cuz I’m a Rock Star doesn’t mean I can’t hear.”
"I didn't mean it like that," Autumn sighed. She blinked a couple of times and stuck a smile on her face. "Anyway. Cuddle time?"
Alex grinned and opened his arms. “Sure, babe. C’mere.”
"I meant on the couch, love," Autumn chuckled, though she made her way over to him anyway.
