"Thanks, then," Autumn whispered against his lips before kissing him back gently.
"Thanks, then," Autumn whispered against his lips before kissing him back gently.
Alex smiled gently. “You’re welcome baby.” He kissed her back, leaning into her again.
Like she always did when Alex used that pet name for her, Autumn felt a shiver go up her spine. They were definitely not going to be getting anything done if this was what they did all day – not that she was complaining.
Alex shifted on the couch and laid her down carefully, pulling their bodies closer together as he laid on top of her. He grabbed her hands gently and squeezed them as he kissed her again.
Autumn's eyelids fluttered slightly at their change in position. She kissed him back, fire on her lips as she did so, and squeezed his hands back.
(I’m bringing this back up for the sake of comic relief. The opposites man.)
Alex half-opened his eyes to check with her. She seemed to be doing okay. He kissed her deeper, kneading into her hands with his.
(Lol. Between the couples?)
Autumn hummed into the kiss, her face flushed. She pulled back slightly to murmur his name against his lips; she was comfortable, but she didn't want to go much further. Not yet.
(Yepppp)
Alex wasn’t quite ready either, though he did enjoy the moment of heated kissing with his girlfriend. He pulled away when she spoke, opening his eyes halfway.
“Yeah?”
(Yeah. Like, wow guys…)
"We should cuddle some more," Autumn murmured softly, opening her eyes as well. "My lips are going to be sore at this rate."
Alex nodded, picking up the hint and slowly laying down next to her. “Wonderful idea.”
"So… I'll have to call the dance studio later," Autumn said softly, wrapping her arms around him.
Alex hugged her close and pulled their faces close together. “We could. We could just stay like this.”
"Yeah, we could," Autumn chuckled. "That sounds like a good idea."
Alex kissed her nose gently. “Glad you agree. Love you.”
"Love you, too, babe," Autumn said, kissing him on the cheek.
Alex smiled and set his head down on her arm. He wanted her to hold him, like the strong woman she was. She didn’t need him to hold her. He needed her.
(Aw.)
Autumn tightened her arms around him, sighing contentedly as she shut her eyes. This was nice; a much needed relaxing time after all her hard work.
Alex rested his head into her neck and half-closed her eyes. He felt safe there, laying in her arms.
"You okay?" Autumn asked softly, her lips brushing against his hair.
Alex nodded. He was more than okay. He was comfortable and safe.
"Good," Autumn murmured, nuzzling his head with her nose. If he was happy, she was happy.
Alex smiled into her soft skin. She was so perfect. It was so hard to believe he’d gotten someone like her.
Autumn didn't believe she was perfect. In fact, she wasn't. She was too easily annoyed by the littlest things, she didn't trust someone until they proved that she could, and she held too many secrets from people.
That’s what Alex found so wonderful about her. She was so different, sneaky and clean. He loved that. He loved her personality.
Well, Autumn didn't like it. She didn't feel clean, more like dirty. It wasn't even like she was keeping secrets that were that bad, and she wasn't even keeping them from Alex… Unless she was…
