Neo looked up at the ceiling with a sigh. "It's some stupid thing Insanity wants us to do since all of us have been so bored lately. Every God chooses a Mortal to live with for a while and we document our results with them."

North sighed as well. “Should I feel honored?” She shrugged, “Probably not, but I guess it doesn’t sound that bad. Anyway, it’s not like I have a choice.”

Neo sighed deeply and sat back in his chair. "No, you technically have a choice. You can tell me to fuck off and I can go and find some other random person (that would be such an awesome RP idea xDD) and live with them instead."

“That’s sounds really tempting actually, but what do you want me to do?” She asked curiously, narrowing her eyes slightly.

Neo shrugged. "I dunno. I'm just asking you to come live up with me for a while."

“Yeah, okay, that sounds fine I guess.” North agreed, shrugging.

Neo sighed and glanced around the kitchen. "You don't seem very busy, M," Neo observered.
"I am now. I'm being annoyed by you."

North laughed quietly and sat up, moving her hand away from Pax. "How long would I be staying?" She asked Neo.

Pax meowed as if he had been betrayed by her and snuggled up close to M again, making unhappy panther noises.
Neo shrugged and leaned forward on his arms. "Whenever Insanity's satisfied, I guess."

North just patted Pax’s head, her attention still directed towards Neo. “Why does he get to decide?”

Pax mewled softly into the collar of M's shirt, who looked mildly annoyed (which was better than usual), holding the other in a tight hug.
"Because he's the oldest and he's the one conducting this stupid thing."

“You put people in charge based on age?” North asked, frowning slightly.

"No, but that's what he thinks we should do, apparently," Neo growled with a sigh.

“That’s not very smart. Is he always in charge of things?” She questioned, her tone now skeptical.

"No, he's not. Relax, jeez. We're not going to hurt you, plus you shouldn't have to care.

“Okay. Forget I ever said anything.” North replied, raising her hands slightly in defense.

Neo huffed and put his muscular arms on the table. "So do you wanna come or not? It's basically up to you, but I thought I'd ask the Mortal that was probably most willing to come."

“Yeah. I’ll come I guess. I’m not that tied down anywhere else.” She shrugged, glancing over momentarily at M and Pax.

M was still holding up Pax, who was purring lowly, kneading M's head.
Neo nodded and sat back in his seat with a sigh. "Whenever you're ready to go…"

North nodded, looking back over at the other two and nudging M's leg gently with her foot. "Bye."

M waved a hand at her, unable to speak from the leopard pressing himself against his face. Neo rose slowly with a deep sigh, stretching.
"Enjoy yourselves," He said sharply to his twin, who glared waterily up at Neo.

'I'm sure they will without me around." She smirked, standing up and walking over to Neo.

M blushed faintly past the black of Pax's dark fur, shifting slightly in his chair.
Neo chuckled at her and started walking from the mansion, giving no other good-bye than that.
