"He hated me." Lila said as they walked towards Life's door. "It's not you. He doesn't like me." She laughed a little, knocking on Life's door.

“Come in,” Life said softly.

North opened the door and smiled at Life as they passed through. Lila stayed close next to her, looking around curiously.

Life smiled back tiredly and waved. “Death’s not in there, again.”

"Oh..has he been gone all this time?" She asked.

Life nodded. “He’s out doing Death stuff.”

"Mm, sounds fun. Can you send us to Insanity?"

Life nodded cheerfully. “Yep. C’mere.”

North took a hold on her daughters hand then reached out and took Life's, appearing in Insanity's hallway.

The humming of the mysterious machine filled the hallway. It gave the hallways a strange feel.

North led Lila down the hall and poked her head in Insanity's office, looking to see if he was there.

He was not. Just small cages and the dim lights.

North sighed and walked instead to M and Pax's room. She knocked on the door softly, still holding Lila's hand.

I am feeling better, if you are worried. My parents are satisfied with how quickly my grades are coming up, so that’s a TON of stress off of my shoulders. I’m worried about Oreo but honestly my mom said if he gets worse we’ll take him to the vet, so I’m settling for that.

My main stress factor right now is that I lost Roberto and I have no fucking clue where he is and I need him rn I’m frightened for him.)
