Graham feel silent as he listened to the song, "Wow. . . that was really good . . ." He said, in awe, "T-that was really good. . ." He leaned back against the chair, feeling chills running up his back, "I-I wow.. ." He sighed just enjoying the peacefulness of the moment, "I just. . .wow. . ." He mumbled, "I can't believe how good it was."

((Okay, it's short?))

"Thanks!" Ash smiled, taking the guitar off and unplugging it. He left the room and sat it back into its case, then came back down and sat on the floor next to the chair again. "I appreciate it. I like playing for you," he replied, surprising himself. It was true, he did like playing for Graham, but he wasn't really aware of it until he had said it aloud. The odd thing was, he didn't mind playing in front of people, but it was usually just that. He didn't care either way. But… he wanted to play for Graham. That was probably something, but Asher didn't want to think about the implications of that statement right then. He paused for a moment, as if he was lost in thought, but he was really just trying to clear his mind.

"What's your sexuality?" he blurted suddenly, then turned slightly red. "I, uh…. Sorry. I didn't mean for it to come out like that. I meant, what's your sexuality?" he asked, gentler this time. "I'm just curious, as you mentioned having a girlfriend at one point in our earlier conversation." I'm not interested. Definitely not interested at all.

Okay, I might be a bit interested.

@Calanthe

Graham smiled a little bit and turned a little bit to look at Asher, "That's nice, I really enjoy it. I don't go to too many concerts anymore since I'm normally in the hospital or something, and I'll have to give up my tickets or something." He said shrugging a little bit, and wincing when he did so, "I think, if we do happen to hang out or something then maybe you could play music more often? I mean, that'd be nice. I think." He said with a smile. "I'd like that, I wish I could play an instrument, I mean like a non classical one, the only one I can play is a viola." He spaced out a little bit, thinking about his old viola, the one that his grandparents had given him when he was child, the one he had learned to play, the one that had gone down in flames along with grandparents old home.

"M-my sexuality?" He turned a shade of pink and looked down at his hands, "Uhm, I'm. .I'm not sure, I have an interest in well, both gmale and females, but I'm too nervous to actually ever date a guy." He mumbled, sheepishly, "I don't know where that places me, but uhm, that's it. . ." He said, stammering a little bit, again at a loss for words. He was trying to make sense of his ideas, but couldn't, "I mean, yeah, that's it."

Asher smiled brightely. "I'd love that! Both hanging out with you, and playing for you. And you know, I have a bit of an older, more beginner type guitar in the garage… I could definitely teach you how to play on that one, I don't mind if that one gets broken," he laughed. "It's yellow and white, if I remember correctly. It was the first one I bought with my own money, but I don't really care about it anymore. I've got the new one, and I like it a lot better. I could even send it home with you, so you could practice. And, knowing you, you'll probably invent something to make it sound way better and hurt your fingers less," he chuckled. "You're extremely smart, so I don't doubt you could."

Asher turned a little pink as well, but his mind went blank. His body seemed to be moving on its own accord now. Oh no. Asher saw his own hand reach out for Graham's and gently took his hand. Crap. "Are you sure you wouldn't date a guy?" he heard his own voice say. STOP! "I mean, you don't really seem like the nervous type to me."

@Calanthe

Graham smiled, "Oh uhm, that's alright, you don't have to worry about that. I-I mean, I like my baby -not my baby, but the viola baby- not that I'm not interested in playing the guitar, but uhm if you really mean it, and if you really want me to try, I'll try." He chuckled a little bit, "I mean, if you don't mind that I make a few tweaks and changes to the guitar, then maybe I'll try." He said with a quiet sigh, "I promise, I'll actually try."

Graham watched Asher's hand move towards his own, and he had no clue what to do. His first reaction was to pull away or something. But then he knew that if he got Asher upset, he might get beaten or something. So he let Asher just hold his hand, "I uhm, I never tired." He mumbled, "I just chicken out, since people's opinions of me might change and stuff." He said quietly, looking down at his feet, "Uhm, yeah. . ."

"I do mean it, and I do want you to try. And I truely don't mind if you change the guitar up. You could have it spew flames from the bottom when you strum an E minor chord, for all I care," he laughed, making a little musical joke. An E minor chord was also called the Devil's chord, since you make devil horns to play it. So it would be kind of hilarious for fire to spew from the bottom of the guitar when you played the Devil's chord.

Asher withdrew his hand, but did lean in a bit, resting his chin on the armrest of the chair. He looked up at Graham gently. "What would happen if a hero liked a villain?" he asked softly, still looking at Graham. He turned slightly red. "Uh- sorry. Sorry if I'm scaring you. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing, to be honest," he mumbled to himself.

@Calanthe

"MMm, maybe nothing that drastic," He said with a smirk, trying to hold in his laughter, "Maybe just some enhanced tones or louder audio or something." He shrugged a bit, "Nothing to cool, but I could always do that to your guitar if you'd like it, although if you don't want something like that, it's fine." He said with a slight chuckle, "Imagine that though, everytime an e minor chord. . " He shuddered, "I could get in trouble for arson, again just by putting that mod in for you." He grinned thinking about it, "But, I must admit, it would be worth it."

Graham nearly breathed sigh of relief when the other boy let go of his hand, not that he didn't like the feeling, although he wasn't too sure about it, but he was just nervous, My hands are probably sweaty or something, or something equally as weird. ". . ." What do I say to that? Heroes don't like people like me, and even if we did, our love wouldn't last. He looked down at Asher, his cheeks now a rosy red, "Y-you're you're saying what you feel. . ." he mumbled, "And if that's what you feel, then that's what you feel."

Archer laughed. "No thanks on that mod, but I appreciate the offer." He was going to say more, but trailed off.

"That is what I feel. But… can I ask what you feel?" he asked softly, looking up at him. "Please? If you don't feel the same way, I get it. I won't beat you up or something. I'll probably just…" he trailed off again, not completely sure what he would do. "I'll just say okay. And then you can rest up and get better, and then we can fight Storm, and then I can give you guitar lessons, and then we'll be on our separate ways. For good. But… we could at least try to make things work, if you did feel the same way. And don't get me wrong, we did just meet and all, so my attraction isn't all that bad yet. If you say no, then I'll be fine. I just thought I should be honest with you…"

@Calanthe

Graham smiled a little, "Finnnnneeee, I guess that'll go on my list of possibilities for you and your guitar. But if you ever want to take your playing to the next level, whether it be fire or something, you know who to call. Oh, wait, maybe I no. . ." He looked over at Archer, "Never mind, you wouldn't like that."

He bit his lower lip, at a loss for words, "Uhm, I don't know. I can't say that I don't like you or I do -at least in that way-." He added the last bit hastily, "Since I mean, I just practically met you, at least for real, I've known you for about two years now?" He said with a slight smile, " Whyh don't we do this? Maybe we try being friends for a while, and we decide 'Hey, let's stay friends!' we stay friends, but if we decide that the attraction is mutual, we move on from there?"

Asher looked up hastily. "What?? You can't trail off like that! C'mon, I wanna know now, tell meee!!!" he laughed. "You're probably holding back some super cool idea that I'm actually gonna love!!!"

"YAY!!!" Ash laughed, jumping up and pumping his fist. "I was seriously hoping you would say that, or something along the lines of that. I do really want to be friends with you! You're an insanely cool person, and so, so smart, and overall super talented and handsome," Ash nodded, calming down and sitting down. He looked up at him and laughed. "It's okay, you can relax now. I've gotten all the mushy emotional things out of my system."

Graham grumbled, giving Asher his world-famous stink eye, "Uh uh, you're not going to like the fact that I could make acid come out of your guitar every time you play a darn e-minor chord if you didn't like the fire idea, they're pretty much one in the same. Actually, no they aren't and I don't think you'd want the acid in the guitar since it could destroy it, even with a special compartment. Fire is possible, and maybe even safe, but acid. . .not so much."

He chuckled, trying and failing to match Asher's happy level, "I, uhm, okay then, I guess we're good then?" He said with as he pushed himself up to stand, "I think I'm gonna go lie back down." He mumbled as he made his way over to the bed, 'No wait, I need to clean up my plate." Grabbing the nearly empty plate of food he turned to face Asher, "Now, where is the sink?"

Asher frowned slightly. He thought for a moment, then looked up at Graham hopefully. "But…. could you make candy come out everytime I play an E minor chord?" he asked hopefully, with a smile. "Because then I would love you forever. There would be no getting rid of me then."

Asher stood as well and nodded to the door he had been going through when he left the room. "Right through there." Asher looked at him with concern in his eyes. "Can I help you walk there? I don't want you possibly falling and getting more hurt than you were before. That would be a dark day."
