He giggled again, holding open the vines for her to walk through, "Thank-you, I appreciate it."
He giggled again, holding open the vines for her to walk through, "Thank-you, I appreciate it."
"Do you though?" She raised an eyebrow at him with a smile and walked through the vines.
"Mhm, I really do." He replied, following. The horses were still where they left them.
She rolled her eyes, wandering back over to Amber. "If you say so. Weirdo."
Dorian walked over to Knox with a laugh, climbing on swiftly and chuckling.
She mounted Amber with a practiced ease. She glanced over at Dorian, smiling to herself. He seemed so relaxed, so in his element. He'd make a good character in a story. (Wink wink nudge nudge)
(Lol)
Dorian didn't even noticed her looking at him until he looked up and blushed slightly. He cleared his throat, hoping she didn't notice, "Let's get going."
She giggled softly. "You're cute when you blush." She pulled her horse into a gallop and started back the way they came before she could see his reaction.
"Wha…" Dorian pouted slightly before he set off after her.
She wasn't one to flirt, even if it was just a harmless compliment so she always just said what she was going to and then took off so she wouldn't have to have her heart broken if she was rejected.
Dorian caught up to her quickly, "And you're cute all the time, my lady." He said, sending her a wink before urging the horse faster.
She blushed but took it as a challenge. She reached his speeds quickly. "Now that's just not true."
"Oh but it is," Dorian replied, grinning, "And it's sad you don't see how true it is."
"Is it sad? Or is it just honest?" She shrugged.
"Sad. You're beautiful, Fiona," He said seriously.
"If only I believed you." She shrugged. She was boring, uninteresting, forgettable. It'd only take time before ugly was added to the list of people's whispered insults.
"Then I'm going to spend the rest of my life convincing you."
"Good luck. You'll seriously need it."
"I don't need luck, because I know I'll succeed eventually."
"You sound pretty confident. Such a shame that confident is being put to waste."
"No it's not. I'm choosing to put my time and effort into you. I'm choosing to spend time to you. I'm choosing you, and being confident in you."
"Why?" The question is seemed to ring through the air. "Why me?" She was genuinely curious and wanted to see his answer.
"You're interesting, different, unique. You're beautiful, yes, extremely so, but your personality is… I don't even know how to describe it. It's you and I like you."
"Interesting to know that someone does considering I don't." She brushed her hair out of her face. "I'm no one."
"You're not no one," Dorian's gaze hardened a little, "Especially not to me."
