amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) had to pause for a moment. What was Chinese food again? Uh… China… oh, right. The noodles and stuff like that. Dumplings and all that. She'd only had it once in her life, and very rarely had it ever been mentioned within hearing distance of herself. "Yeah, that sounds good," she agreed, knowing that the first and only time she'd tried Chinese, she'd liked it. "There might be a Chinese restaurant down this street, but I don't know. I don't get chances to eat Chinese very often."

"Okay…" amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) followed closely behind, still a bit cautious though. Sure, Giovanni seemed nice, but she didn't know him. At least, not well.

"What's it like being blind? I'm genuinely curious" Gio asked. He personally rather stay deaf than gain his hearing back only to not be able to see.

amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) paused. How was she supposed to explain how it felt to be blind? Let alone what it was like? "Well," she started slowly, racking her brain for anything that might help. "When you've been blind as long as I have, you sort of… adjust to the world around you? Like, right now I can tell the way the traffic moves on the sidewalk that we're walking on. It's all in the breathing and the talking. Even the smallest noises can give you away. And, with the loss of one of the main five senses, everything else suddenly gets a million times more sensitive."

@Hybrid-Is-tired

"I get what you mean. I can tell how somebody feels by body langue alone. I too can tell which way traffic is going not just with sight but feeling it as well like the vibrations I mean. Though if you could be deaf and see again would you?" they continued on their way, getting close to the resturant

amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) thought for a bit. Would she want to be able to see? To give up her hearing to be able to see? She shook her head lightly. "No. I've never seen anything my whole life, and I'm still relatively happy, so I see no reason why I would want to give up my hearing, which I've relied on for most of my life. It would be difficult to transition to relying on my sight alone."

@Hybrid-Is-tired

"Interesting." He responded as they were at the restaurant door. "We're here." he told her as he opened the door for her. "Right over here."

amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) felt her way over to the door and entered the restaurant. She wasn't quite sure what to expect of this place. She just really hoped that she would actually be able to order.

@Hybrid-Is-tired

Giovanni noticed the slight trouble she had to find the door so when they got a table he gently took her hand again as they made their way over to the table.
