"Also, don't you hate Grimm for 'taking your friend away' from you? Don't say thats messed up, you flithy hypocrite!"
"Also, don't you hate Grimm for 'taking your friend away' from you? Don't say thats messed up, you flithy hypocrite!"
"I think it's a valid reason," shot Magnus, angry once more.
"You're angry, aren't you? I have a deal. I will pull Grimm away from Zofia, but you need to do something for me. Do we have a deal?" Welato said as he extended his hand out towards Magnus, ready to make a deal.
"I said, Do we have a deal?"
"Don't do it!" Azrael, Allison, Grimm, and Vozreal.
"Vozreal, old pal! How's it been? After you left us? Betrayed us?" Welato said, "Left Hewalo, Cefora, and me for some unknown reason?"
"Magnus…" Lucien warned.
"Wh-what would I have to do?" Magnus knew he shouldn't do it, whatever it was, but he just had to know. Getting rid of Grimm… that'd be amazing, but he'd probably lose Zofia too.
"All you have to do, is shake my hand! Do we got a deal?" Welato said.
Magnus wasn't sure he should trust Welato, but simply just shaking his hand and getting rid of Grimm was too good to be true.
He'd deal with the consequences later. He reached out, and shook Welatos hand.
"Idiot." Welato snapped his fingers.
"NOOOOOO!!!" Grimm roured in despair. Zofia was dead. And it was Magnus' fault.
Grimm picked up Zofia dead corpse, and her soul, and went back to A-11.
"Really? You fucking buffoon!" Everyone yelled at Magnus. Everyone, except Azrael.
Welato left, using the death of Zofia as a distraction.
Zofia would never forgive Magnus for doing this.
"Guys! Welato's using this dimension to get us mad at each other! He left! Let's go back to A-11, and talk this out, okay?
"We'll be civilized when we talk, okay?" Azrael said as she opened a portal back to A-11.
Grimm was doing an elaborate ritual to revive Zofia. He seemed to be succeeding, so no one dared to distract him. Grimm gave Magnus a very dirty look, like he hated him. Why would he do this to his own friend? Grimm was thinking.
They all, sans Zofia and Grimm, went to the kitchen area.
Everyone was upset at Magnus.
Magnus sat on the floor in the corner of the kitchen. He was shaking, terrified of what he had just done.
How could he have been so stupid? Why couldn't he have realized that it was a trick?
"I-I'm sorry," he cried. "I n-never wanted her to get hurt."
"Damnit, Magnus, for once in your life, could you just think?!" roared Lucien. "Use your head. Zofia's dead. She's dead because you just couldn't use your head."
Lucien sat at the kitchen table and put his head in his hands. Magnus remained silent in the corner.
"What happened?" Zofia said. Grimm death stared at Magnus.
"Dumbass here," Azrael said as she pointed at Magnus, "shook Welato's hand and got you killed. However, your boyfriend, Grimm, brought you back to life. He literally gave you life again, when you should be dead."
Everyone wasn't as mad but still mad at Magnus. Zofia was the most angry at Magnus.
"You… you killed me," she said in shock.
"Welato killed you," Magnus whispered angrily. "How was I supposed to know he'd do that?"
"It was your fault. This is all your fault."
"Damnit, Zofia!" he yelled. "I care about you, I've always cared about you. I would never, never, intentionally hurt you! So yeah, I might have shaken Welato's hand, but I did not kill you."
Zofia covered her face and ran from the kitchen, tears forming in her eyes. She had never actually heard Magnus yell, scream at her like that, before. She ran to her room, shut the door and sat against it.
Grimm followed her, to comfort her.
"It's my fault this ever happened," he admits.
"It's not," Zofia said, wiping a tear away. "Magnus… he can be protective. I-I've known him for so long, and he's like my brother, you know?
"Anyway," she continued. "It's really not your fault. Magnus shouldn't have attacked you like that."
"I shouldn't had 'taken' his friend away." Grimm said.
He wanted to be with Zofia, but at the same time didn't want a repeat of the "Magnus Death incident", as it would come to be known as. He was tore between two worlds, one of his new love life, and one of being neutral in arguments.
"He doesn't know what he's talking about." Zofia stood and took his hand. "Grimm, you also saved my life, don't forget that. You saved me. Thank you."
"I lost a loved one in the past, and I didn't want a repeat of that," he stated. He was being sincere.
"I'm also the one that reaped Magnus' soul, so that had something to do with it," he also admitted.
Grimm kissed Zofia on the lips.
Zofia kissed him back and wrapped her arms around him. "I'm sorry, I didn't know," she whispered, and lay her head on his chest. "I think I should apologize to Magnus. I'm not sure I forgive him… but he was just trying to protect me."
"I'll come with you," Grimm said.
"Thanks," she replied with a soft smile.
They returned to the kitchen, where everybody was quietly making small-talk and eating, all except for Magnus. He was still sitting in the corner, his arms wrapped around his legs, staring at nothing. Zofia sat in front of him.
"I'm sorry, Magnus. I know you wanted to protect me. It wasn't your fault that I… that I died, and I don't blame you for it. It was the universe, it was Welota, it was everything that has happened and-"
"Stop, Zofia," Magnus said in a quiet, rough voice. "I should be the one apologizing. Not you. You didn't do anything wrong."
Zo cleared her throat. "Do you think you two could just try to get along?"
"That sounds great with me. How about you?"
"Yeah, I guess so," he said, the corner of his mouth turning up.
"Great." Zofia grinned and put her arm around Grimm's shoulders. "So, got anymore of that potato beer?"
