/Appears in a cloud of dark smoke, waving hands around, attempting to look mysterious/
@_Write_Where_I_Wanna_Be, I summon you!
"Excuse me?" Adrielle gave a mock-offended snort. "How dare you call me a child." She sat down on the ground. "Canned food? Got any good canned food, or is it all just boring?"
Thy have been summoned!
"Okay kid, look at where we're at in this world?" He says a little annoyed. "I don't think you have any right to.be complaining about the canned food. Though I can always go back and find that child and let you eat it. It's only a few hours old." He says as he turned around and sits on a hay bail.
"Sure. I'd like to see you try." She leaned against the wall, legs crossed, an arrogant expression on what could be seen of her face.
"Bring the dead body of a child? I definitely could. And you know very well how easily i could. Though only maybe a leg i could bring since the screamer probably devoured the whole body. They're not very fond of legs. Oh, the skull is one of their favorite parts though. And i can see why. It's very satisfying crushing them." He says leaning back in the hay bail, but only to get up and fee seconds later. "I have some cooked deer meat over here though. If you would like some. The canned food is just for emergency." He says waving her over to his half working fridge. He only got the meat this morning, which he also cooked. He would need to just heat it up a little more over the fire.
She shrugged. "Alright, thanks, I guess." She shook her head, standing in one swift motion. "So, how did you learn Korean? Are you from Korea, or did you just learn?"
He turned to her and let out a soft chuckle.
“Nah, I’m American” He says sarcastically as he gestured to his own face.
It was extremely obvious he was Korean. Or at least Asian. Even in this situation he had almost no blemishes on his face, though he was quite pale for a Korean male.
“I was born in Korea. When I was around 9 or 10 I moved to America, but since I didn’t know the language fully, I continued to keep on learning from my mom.”
He turned back around and started gathering things to start the fire.
“What about you? Where are you from?” He was never one to start conversations or anything, but since this was the only human being that he was probably going to interact with for a long time, so he might as well
She shrugged. "Here and there. I was born here, and I've been living around the country for a few years. I've learned a few languages, and, well, yeah. Nothing interesting."
“Why’d you move so much” he asks running his fingers through his hair after he took his black leather gloves off. Theyve come in handy quite a bit
Adrielle's face, which had been bored and dismissive, froze. Her lips pinched together and she shook her head. "Reasons that I do not care to share with someone I just met today. And if you ever ask about it again, I will slit your throat and feed you to the screamers, piece by piece." She shrugged, pulling her hood down from her face, untying her bandanna for the first time to reveal a gorgeous, innocent looking girl. "Find anything good at the mall?" She was cool, unruffled, acting as though that last moment never happened, that she hadn't just threatened him.
He rolled his eyes. He highly doubted she could do that. But he didn't say anything.
He watched her take off her bandana and was decently surprised by how pretty she was. But that didn't phase him much. Instead he just answered her question. "Not really. I could have seen what that mother had, but it was too dangerous to be just looting her corpse." He shrugged. "You?"
"Looting isn't my job." She shrugged. "I usually hunt the stupid things. But I did see some good stuff there, which is easily found if you know where to look." She smiled slightly, her lips pulling back from her teeth in a slightly wolf-like smile.
He raised a brow at her smile, but also didn't say anything. It was somewhat cute…..in a way only Min-Hyuk would think so.
"Well anyway…." He turned back around and headed towards to door with a handful of things and unlocked to door with one hand, kicking it open quietly. "You comin?"
(<3)
"Or course." She moved towards him. Tying back her hair, she glanced at the stuff in his hand. Should she help? Nah. He seemed like he could get it.
(no, I just kind of took a little break for a little bit. I'm back. Kind of)
He turned and shut the door after she came out.
Rounding the building, they neared a small field with a small fireplace closer to the tall metal wall of the barn.
A while later he found himself sitting near a fire with the meat cooking over it as the sky darkened and the moon took the place of the sun, a grey color filling the sky as if it were smoke.
The red and orange colors of the fire shone onto his pale skin, his eyes staring deeply into the fire, his eyes like shattered mirrors reflecting off of the fire. His now glowing eyes flickered over to the girl.
"so what do you plan to do after this?" he asks calmly as he sat back against the wall of the building
(Lol it's fine I get it 100%)
(Also, we shipping them?)
Adrielle shrugged, only half listening as her eyes stared into the fire, reflecting it again and like miniature suns. She always had a soft spot for fire. "Go home," she said, her voice low and quiet. "I know this one place where I'll be perfectly safe." She flashed a grin, her teeth lighting up. "Not that I want to, but… I might stay alive a bit longer this way."
(Oh absolutely! At least I am lol)
He let out a soft, silent chuckle as his turned his gaze back to the fire.
“Don’t let this place fool you. It can actually be quite safe. But if you wouldn’t rather leave then stay, I won’t hold you back” he says offering a small smile.
Yeah, he was actually trying to be nice. He enjoyed the company more than anything.
He hated being alone more than anything. Though he never realized that until the screamers broke out and all hell was let loose, making his life a living nightmare and his dream at the same time
(Sweet!)
"Great." Her grin widened. She didn't really like being around people very much. There were still too many of them, in her opinion, and she didn't like to socialize.
She pulled her chain from her pocket and carefully uncoiled it, placing one end of the bloody links in the fire, burning away the flesh on it. The scent of burnt meat filled the air, and she smirked slightly.
He leaned forward and studied her features a bit. Her smile was cute, and almost creepy. She was definitely unusual… that was for sure.
He chuckled softly and turned his gaze to the fire, breathing in the scent. He was so used to this smell, he almost grew fond of it.
“So what’s your decision hm?”
"I'll go back to where I came from." She shrugged. "I don't really care what you do."
Once her chain was clean, she removed it from the fire, not caring that she had burned her palms. It was a sensation she was used to, and she almost enjoyed it.
(MASOCIST COUPLE)
(sorry I can't help it XD)
he was a bit dissapointed, but he didn't blame her one bit. This place was a dump. A small town with a destroyed mall as its biggest building. Other than the movie theatre that he was sure there was someone there. But he didn't dare to look yet. It was too dangerous in there.
"alright." he simply stated with a shrug as he stared off into the fire
