Alrighty ^^
A soft cry for help resonated from the ruins of an old town, its owner growing weaker and weaker as time went on. He was trapped under the rubble of an old house, and had been for almost two days. He had nothing to eat or drink, and he could hardly move from where he was trapped. His calls had become considerably less frequent after the first day. He was exhausted and in immense pain, and had lost hope that anyone would come to his aid. He had resigned himself to his fate, much as it terrified him, and only called a couple of times an hour at this point.
(Bump)
Coren enjoyed The old town. The quiet, peaceful old town. It was his calm place. The one place he could concentrate. Suddenly the quiet was cut off by a cry of help. Coren was confused on where the voice came from and who it could have been. The town was not inhabited. A ghost town. He quickly found the location of the voice and saw, in the rubble of a house, A young boy laying there. He removed the rubble from the child and looked at him. He picked him up and looked confused. "What are you doing out here little boy…"
(Im just saying Can you give me a 2-3 day response time? A lot is going on with school stuff and It's pretty hard to respond. Not saying that I don't wanna do this. I'm trying my hardest.)
(Alright ^^;)
Mori looked up when he heard footsteps approaching, his heart skipping and picking up the pace. It was as though it had a renewed hope; something to live for. His heart, which had given up before, had a reason to go on. There was someone here who might be able to help him. He could survive this. He tried to call out again, his voice scarcely more than a hoarse croak.
When Coren had finally managed to free him from the clutches of the house's remains, Mori was limp and trembling. Tears rolled down his cheeks, but he couldn't quite tell for what reason. Pain? Joy? Relief? Something else entirely? He wasn't sure. He appeared to be pretty badly injured, and he was very pale. He hadn't eaten or drank anything in a while, after all, and considering his injuries, he wasn't particularly functional.
(Bump)
Coren stared at the child in disbelief. He wiped the tears off of the child's face. He, once was also like that. Deserted, lonely, hurt. He decided to help the child, putting a hand out. "Take my hand." He said in a low, kind, and secretive tone. "I want to help you…"
(Im sorry!)
Mori looked up at Coren weakly and reached out to take his hand as instructed, still trembling. He wasn't sure whether the man was wanting him to stand, but he didn't think that he was currently able to. He had a smudge of blood on one cheek, and he seemed very uneasy. "W-Who are you…?" He asked weakly.
