(Sorry if its short-)
(Sorry if its short-)
(It's alrighty! Sorry if this is a bit meh)
Hiro swung around in his chair bored, already dressed up and ready for work, at that time, all he had to do was wait. He was up earlier than usual, so he decided to pass time his favourite way: bugging everyone on his contacts list until someone replied. Childish, truly, but still fun to him.
Eventually, he made his way over to Andre's number and sent a text: 'Hey'
Simple and plain, but enough for someone to at least ask him what the fuck he wanted from them. Almost as effective as calling out hey to someone in real life. Though admittedly texts are much easier to ignore. He didn't really have anything in mind to talk about in the occasion that Andre did answer, not that he expected him to. Andre was usually asleep or busy at the time anyway. But of course, no harm in trying, no harm and failing, and if he succeeds, a pleasant surprise.
Andre just stared a bit.
I'm literally the most bored I've ever been- I need help- ;-;
He texted him, whining.
(Sorry, had something to do!)
Hiro's eyebrows raised once he felt his phone vibrate, letting him know that he had actually gotten a reply back from someone. He clicked on the notification to see it was from Andre. A slight smile slipped onto his face, though quickly turned to confusion upon reading the text.
He typed his reply slowly, almost as if to accent his utter confusion.
'And how am I supposed to help that..?'
Somehow? Idk. I'm just hella bored- Wait- Do you think you can come over tonight?
Andre's eyes lit up, excitedly.
Hiro wracked his brain for any potential plans that he could have. As a placeholder answer he just typed 'uhh'. He opened up his calendar for today and looked. His latest planned thing was a meet-up with one of his coworkers. 8 pm.
He thought for a little then decided that it could live to be rescheduled. They were gargabe men, there wasn't much important stuff to discuss anyway.
He opened back up his conversation with Andre and sent: 'yeah, sure'. Already, the regret of completely ditching his coworker had faded. He began to smile and tap his legs on the floor, as he was unfortunately too tall the just swing his legs freely.
Andre smiled.
Okay, see you at 6:00! He responded, happily. He ate a cookie, or two. Maybe a dozen, but with his metabolism he remained skinnNy-
He sighed, now bored and staring at the clock.
With that, Hiro set himself a reminder for 5:30 pm, just so he didn't forget to go, and began wandering around again. Bored. He facepalmed. He didn't wish for such a short conversation, he had wished for something significantly more entertaining. Like a bunch of questions, or hell, even talk about the blasted weather would be better than the pressing boredom that he felt.
He picked up his lunch for the day, turned off all his lights, and set out the house. Hoping that something more interesting would happen out there. Like a raccoon attacking him for his food.
As one would expect, absolutely. Nothing. Happened. So he made the decision to stop by a park and go to one of the playsets. Disregarding the fact that he was far "too old". He took the sandwich from his lunch and slowly began nibbling away at that as he swung aimlessly on the swingset. His back on the seat, and gravity removing the hairs from his face. It amused him, slightly. The lightheaded feeling he got as he watched the world upside-down.
But of course,
the entertainment only lasted seconds before fading away. He decided to message Andre again, not a little more certain he'd get a reply.
"soooo, whatcha doin'?'
He sounded like a boredom stricken child, without a doubt.
Nothing much. Just eating cookies- Wby?
Andre sighed.
Hiro promptly went to reply, but then though about how weird his answer would sound.
–Oh, just laying on a swing, getting lightheaded, and eating a sandwich.–
Who in the world says something like that casually? Hiro, obviously, so he sent exactly that and pushed his legs that were angled to stay on the ground. Causing the swing he lied on to take motion. The ground below him blurred with the swinging, and boy did it add to his lightheaded feeling, but at least he was a little less bored.
Andre sighed.
Brb, I'mma slam my face against the wall. I'm bored asf XD-
He walked up to the wall.
Thud
Then walked back.
Maybe…I shouldn't of done that…– He texted.
'Ow-'
Hiro smirked at the text. He knew he'd get some amusement out of pestering Andre. He couldn't keep the grin off his face as he texted back. It was almost like something was pulling at his lips like a rubber band, forcing them to move.
'Pfft, dummy.' he texted. A simple reply, but it'd be exactly what he'd say if they were face-to-face too. 'maybe you should try using your head to think instead of using it as a hammer, eh?'
At that point, he was chuckling at his own responses too. Hiro couldn't tell if he was really that bored or if the situation was really that funny. But either way it worked for him.
Andre snickered.
Or maybe I could make myself more retarded than I already am?
He responded, sighing as he rolled onto his side, his legs up on the wall.
He decided to take a selfie, revealing his bright-red forehead and laughed.
As his smile grew, his lips curled more at the ends. His eyebrows dipped a little downwards, almost giving a playful yet pitying look.
'now, now, sweetie. I'd at least like my friends to still be able to solve 2+2' his mind began to wander as he sent that text, and a strange, random burst of curiosity popped into his head as he thought. He quickly followed up his text.
'oh, and, sorry for the weird question, but, what's my contact name in your phone?'
For absolutely no reason at all, he feared the answer to this question. What if it was something weird, like FBI Agent- well actually, that would serve to amuse Hiro more than anything. But even still, he slightly fretted over the silly little thing.
Andre paused, before getting embarrassed.
Huh? It's Hiro~- Why? He replied, lying.
It was literally a whole bunch of cookies at it said s l a v e
He snorted.
Hiro's face remained blank at the answer, slightly relieved, though at the same time slightly skeptical.
'no reason, just a bit curious'
He looked up to the small sliver at the top of his phone for the time, he realized that he was already late for work by about 20 minutes.
'uhm, well, I've gotta go to work now, catch ya later'
With this, he turned on his music, popped in his headphones, put his phone in his pocket and set out for his long day at work. Picking up the filth of the area.
Andre looked around to figure out what the heck to do, as he smelled chocolate and his little floofy tail wagged. He walked to the scent, and couldn't reach the chocolate.
He whined.
"Come… on!" He stretched, before falling, with a yelp. "Ow!" He whined.
(gtg for now.)
(k-)
(ee-)
(Whew, finally back. Sorry bout the long parting, mate. Gimme a sec and I'll reply ( •̀ᴗ•́ )و ̑̑)
(Its okay~~! And okay! :D)
Hiro bobbed his head side to side as he stood on the back on the large, booming garbage truck. Strolling around town to collect their waste. His mind wandered, thinking about a myriad of things. The music he listened to, the lunch that he had left to eat, his meetup that he had planned. Andre. He chuckled at the thought of his best friend.
"He's probably done something stupid already," he told himself, slightly grinning. The happy demeanor caught some of his coworkers, though they seemed to decide to just leave it alone. Perhaps to not ruin it, perhaps something else.
He decided to do something out of his usual and call Andre during work. He opened up his phone and dialed his number, and put it back into his pocket. Listening to it ring through his headphones.
Andre picked up.
"H-Hey!" He stuttered, his voice squeaky.
"Hi," Hiro replied back, his voice monotone. "So, like, I know this is a weird and abrupt question, but, are you alright?" One of his coworkers, who was more than obviously listening, raised an eyebrow in slight concern. Hiro continued,
"Cause like, I know you have a tendency of doing stupid shit, so like, I just decided to check in for once." Hiro cringed at himself. The way he used 'like' between almost every independent clause made him wish to cut his tongue out. Admitting his concerns about someone wasn't even like him to begin with, so that only served to embarrass him more.
Meanwhile, in the background, his coworker chuckled, repeating Hiro's sentence to himself. Faint murmurs of amused words escaped his mouth, earning the man a cold glare from Hiro.
