I’d be down to rp with you. I also check in every day on here, and I haven’t joined too many RP’s so I can stay on top of everything. I’m 6 hours behind you though, I think, it’s only 4pm.
If you need more people im down :)
Aa, das good then :'D ~~(its 00:10 for me so im staying up just enough to post the starting info here, then i reply after i wake up, if its ok)
@"betsy.cant.write" this one would be an oxo rp, so i dont rlly know where i can fit another person, but i can rp with u in private if u want :D
Oki, so to lay down the basic info - Theres a kingdom, whose problem is a giant lindworm. The basic plot is that of the Lindworm prince, but altered a little (suggestions are welcome huhu). I'll be playing the lindworm, but the other character can be anything else :'D

no problem, lol idk how I missed the oxo in the description
@Dry-Bagels ok, u good to go?
Yes I am. Will we use template or something … or are we just going to jump in?
we can use a template if u want. I'm currently reviewing the plot a little bit, so i might need a little bit more until everything is set in place. I'll give you a template as soon as im ready
Here's the template:
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Appearance:
Clothing:
Personality:
Background:
I'll get mine up in a sec
Name: Lindworm (hasnt been given a human name)
Age: 16 years
Gender: Male
Appearance: A giant pure white serpentine beast, with thick scales all over and various fins on its back and sides. It head is a mix of snake and dragon, with six curved horns, one pair facing backwards. It has one pair of front paws, with large sharp claws on all fingers and sharp purple eyes.
Clothing: (none)
Personality: Cold and distant at first, not very communicative; underneath the cold layer lies a soul torn apart by his own situation, with the lack of affection and understanding continuing to tear at his heart constantly.
Background: When a queen had lost all hope of having children, she called in the help of a sorcerer, whose advice was for her to perform a ritual of some kind that would result in two roses - a white and a red one, of which she was to eat only one. The queen however, impressed by the white rose's sweetness, ate the red one as well.
This resulted in her bearing twins, one of which was a normal healthy little boy and the other a white serpentine beast which fled away shortly after birth. Scared out of her wits, the queen made everyone who had witnessed the event to keep it a secret from everyone, including the king.
After years went by, the lindworm began showing up again, in various parts of the city
Now, your character can be either a random person, who might end up falling in love with the Lindworm if u wanna go for romance, or you can play as the Prince if u want bromance. You can play both if u wanna :")) I'm still trying to decide which genre im going for, you can influence the RP too if you wish, that would actually be really helpful :"D
(I’m so sorry I took so long to respond!!! I got super sidetracked. Let me know if I should change or fix anything another my character.)
Name: Dahlia Wallace
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: Shoulder length auburn hair. Always has a bow or a hair clip in. Soft brown eyes. Has a beauty mark under her right eye. Rather average build, stronger in the arms than the legs. Very pale due to her barely getting any sun, and because she’d probably just instantly burn. A long scar on her forearm and under her collarbone.
Clothing: Typically wears hand-me-down dresses from her mother. Things with any kind of light material, that isn’t falling apart too much, work for her. Anything else she wears is sometimes a sun hat, and a pair of black shoes.
Personality: Dahlia has more of a quiet personality. It’s always a kind of neutral mood with her, since she never really gets upset, irritated, or anything of that sort. She’ll keep to herself, and let herself figure out things. Whether trying to solve a problem alone takes a month longer, or not. She will always lend out a hand to those her don’t think ill of her, which is mainly injured animals.
Background: Dahlia was born as a illegitimate child of a noble. She looked down upon her whole life, never given any kind of support, and isolated. When she occasionally gets to see her mother, they usually share a few tender moments. So Dahlia has nothing against her mother. When she got enough courage, she moved away from the noble’s estate to a more quiet part of the kingdom. Now, she mainly helps treat little kids random injuries and the animals.
(Nah nah, its ok, take ur time. She looks good, i like her :"D So u wanna do romance, ye? oke oke. I'll put up a starter right away)
(Okiee, thank you. I've got a meeting soon, but I'll still be on if we're ready to start.)
(its ok, take your time)
With the sun past noon, most of the inhabitants of the city were relaxing outside of their residences, enjoying the last hours of light before they were to get ready for evening. Because of this, many were able to see the prince and his small friend group head out the main street towards the forest, presumably to hunt something as usual. It was a pretty known fact the prince loved spending time in the forest, either hunting or just generally enjoying the quietness. He waved over to a few of the people as he passed by on the horse's back, while also chattering with the person nearest to him. The small group made its way out of the main gates and vanished behind the large wooden gates, the noises of their horses' galloping and their laughs slowly vanishing into the air.
Dahlia had been sent over to watch the children in the field. As the afternoon was passing, and the weather was well enough for the children to play.
Having nothing much better to do, in stead of the parents, she watched them play. The adults here were pleasant to be around- or at least from her point of view, and they treated her fairly. So, Dahlia always felt a bit indebted to them, and always did the small chores they asked of her while they had the time to relax.
She sat at a safe distance, in the shade of a tree. The children wouldn’t be bothered by her presence, but she was close enough to stop an argument or give someone a bandage. She had a book with her to spend the time, occasionally checking on the kids. Though luckily enough, most of the time, nothing happened.
The time rolled by peacefully, with the kids playing until they got tired but still refusing to go back to their homes before dark. One thing in particular that seemed slightly out of the ordinary was the prince coming back home much sooner that he normally would have and lacking the prizes they'd usually obtain in a hunt. The small group entered through the city gates in a hurry, as if something was chasing them, some of the men looking shaken up by something.
Shortly after, rumor came around about something lurking underneath the shadow of the forest, one merchant having caught sight of it at the edge of the forest
Dahlia found the disruption in the kingdom’s usual schedule peculiar, and that something had been found out of the ordinary. Though, most likely nothing horrible would become of these things.
Things that were found, and described as such, were usually just injured animals. They were usually scared and dying, and found every so often. But they’d be okay. The only thing that didn’t fit, was that the Prince had returned early and had little to bring back.
She packed her things, and managed to convince the children it was time to go home. It was still plenty early, but it would take them an eternity to get back. If she walked with them all, it would take even longer. If they left too late, their parents would worry.
The word traveled around fast that the prince and his friends had run into something, though what exactly was the thing they met was not disclosed. Probably the thing the merchant had seen lurking in the woods some while ago. No one was certain, as nothing ever really happened that could provide clear answers.
In the palace however, things were different. The prince had regained some of his composure, unlike his friends who had been with him and was now seated on a chair next to his father, supporting his head on his hands as he relayed the events to him
(Ill stalk!)
(sure, no prob)
Dahlia’s arms ached after having to drag the children home. Even nearly an hour later, she still had to take some home. They’d insisted on being carried or tossed into the air. How their parents dealt with them a lot longer than herself, mystified Dahlia, but she respected them for it. Maybe even a little envious of the children who received so much love and care.
The kids asked about what had happened too, but Dahlia could give them no answers. They kept pestering, but to no avail. She couldn’t blame them- she wanted answers too. Maybe they’d all find out, sooner or later. Maybe she’d end up making up a story to tell them, or it would be an injured animal like she had guessed.
Evening arrived, with the sun approaching the horizon, slowly sinking the city into dimming light when the prince's figure exited the castle on foot, slowly losing himself on the city's alleys in order to clear his mind. The talk he had with his parent had taken a lot of time and had been a tense moment for his entire family. He would have wanted to discuss some ways to solve the matter, but that was an action best left for tomorrow morning. Right now he just wanted to clear his head and think of something else.
He took a left turn from the main street and onto a more deserted one, strolling casually while lost in thought not paying that much attention to his surroundings. The sky looked pretty peaceful, with several clouds on the multi colored background, most likely announcing the possibility of rain somewhere in the near future.
(sorry if its a little awkward or its moving slow, im kinda stumped at how to make things roll right now :"))
(It's all good. I think maybe just throwing stuff at my character might help, but I'm no expert.)
Dahlia felt relieved once all the children had gone home. The setting sun was a nice accent to her mood, and it was well enough for a stroll.
Part of her wanted to look for what was in the forest, despite the possible danger it could bring. But the story was ever so intriguing and it wasn’t like there was much else to do. It was still a bit worrying that the Prince had returned early, but there wasn’t a thing in this world that could be so horrid. Or at least more horrid than its own people.
She might go back to reading under a tree until it became too dark to see outside, or she could rest her eyes. Though the risk of her falling asleep outside was too high. Who knows what could happen then. Here though, it was safe enough.
