Okay, so it's urban fantasy. Your characters are a group of rebels, people who have become outcasts from society, riding together on motorcycles and shredding the roads with their biking skills. They typically go out at night, spending their nights in the rougher parts of town trying to help the people living there in ways like setting up unofficial food banks, giving out medical aid, and educating the children living in those communities. But one night, they travel beyond city limits to a homeless encampment in the desert of their more arid community. There, they find each and every single member dead, torn to shreds by some mysterious monster, and that is where our story really begins…

Basically, the characters find the encampment dead and decide to investigate. But what they find will rope them into a world of mystery, shrouded in secrets. A world made of myth. And once they realize this, it'll be too late to go back.

Roles:

Leader: (1) (40-50) @SPAMTON-G-SPAMTON
Second-In-Command: (1) (35-40) @SPAMTON-G-SPAMTON
Weapons Specialist: (1) (25-30)
Medic: @Tired-but-passionate (30-40)
Engineer/Mechanic: (1) (30-40)
The Tag-A-Long Kid: (1) (12-17)

Those are the roles I have. No template, just give me a two paragraph description with at least seven full sentences per paragraph, using good detail.

MATURE THEMES ABOUND. The only thing I won't be touching on here is smut, but there will be a lot of gore and violence. Experienced writers ONLY.

Anyways, some worldbuilding for those of you who want it.

Alchemy is basically the form of magic used in this world. Alchemy falls broadly into these three categories:

Chimeric Alchemy: A niche section of Manipulative Alchemy, it's about making two halves a whole. Like, chimeras, half human half animal hybrids, etc.

Manipulative Alchemy: Basically, changing your environment or yourself to fit something else. Like, from waterbending to reanimating the dead. It's flexible.

Spiritual Alchemy: This is stuff like deities, the misc. section that doesn't really fit anywhere else. It revolves around the self and one's philosophy, it's more about perception like illusions or manipulating emotions.

Alchemists have spent long centuries trying to prove their theories. It's a combination of magic and science, and not even exact science, it's all very theoretical. There's a secret Alchemist's Society, unknown to even the government, that regulates these studies. Only the best and brightest alchemists are part of this society.

In the modern day, Alchemy isn't used. Nobody even knows it's a thing.

That's all I got so far.

Rules are:

At least five sentences per post, otherwise just don't post until you have material to post with. You don't need to post whenever another person posts, take your time to craft a good response.
NO SMUT. You can mention sexual stuff, such as in backstory, but I don't want any of the explicits here and I don't want any explicit discussions either. However, there will be lots of gore, violence, and otherwise drama and angst, so watch out if you have a lot of triggers.
However, if you have a few specific triggers, let me know! I'm happy to write those out for you, like if you have an aversion to dentists I'll not include any scenes with dentist or tooth stuff.
Please, please, please, USE GOOD GRAMMAR, PUNCTUATION, AND SPELLING. It matters. I'm fine with the occasional weird wording, satan knows I use weird wordings plenty often, but unless it's part of a character voice I'd prefer to make the overall writing be… like, good…
Anyways, off of that point, please try to show up with your writing. Don't just post something because you feel obligated to, post something that enriches the plot.
But also, try to post at least twice daily, otherwise let me know if you won't be around to post.
And have fun! This is supposed to be fun, I hope, and I'll try to make it fun! Post a ✨ if you're on board with the rules at the end of your post asking to join.

(Cool! I'll pull up a template and you can post your character whenever!)

Gender/Pronouns: (Pet peeve of mine-please specify whether your character is cis or trans if they identify with a binary (male/female) gender. If you say "male" when you mean cis male it's invalidating and also I will automatically assume your character is trans and has that brussy (bro 🐱). I warned you.)

@Tired-but-passionate

Name: Bimala Miller
Age: 38
Gender/Pronouns: cis female, she/her
Orientation: demisexual biromantic
Appearance: Bimala stands at around 5’9 with a lanky body that is lacking in curves and colored a deep brown. Her face is round, carved into a long nose and full lips, and a somewhat weak chin. Her eyes are a striking hazel color, full of intelligence and compassion. Dark hair goes to just below her chin in a wavy bob, and thin eyebrows. Has three piercings on the helix of her left ear, and wears a braided leather bracelet with beads woven in.
Personality: very much a mom friend, with a pinch of motherly rage. Although she’s never had children, she has a natural tendency to care for her loved ones, and rarely expects anything in return. Acts of service is her main love language, though she also expresses love through physical touch. Fairly extroverted, and enjoys the company of others. She also likes teaching and educating others on something she’s interested in. Although, the things she’s interested in seem more normal to her than they do to others, so sometimes it can seem like fixing a broken spine is no big deal to her. It’s as if she thinks the human body is just a machine that needs to be fixed, and sometimes that’s true, but Bimala usually just talks about a broken or sick body that way. She always makes sure to handle the human body with care. This seems to be a noticeable pattern with her— good with the physical, but not with the verbal. The only exception to this is when she’s angry. Whether it be motherly rage or righteous anger, either would be enough to easily verbally destroy you.
Backstory: Bimala’s childhood was somewhat normal, all things considered. The only thing was that her parents were neglectful and worked often, sometimes leaving Bimala and her sister home for long periods of time. This was what probably fed into Bimala’s desire to look after others, as she had to be the one to parent her sister. As a teenager she found a fascination for human anatomy and how the human body works, and later attended medical school. She wanted to become an actual doctor, but even after she finished schooling, could only get a job as a nurse at the local clinic. After a few years she became dissatisfied, and quit her job to take a break. Now, truthfully she does have experience with children, as her sister was married at this point and had a large family. Bimala began to volunteer looking after her nieces and nephews, and even went around as a babysitter for some time, as she liked the environment better. Eventually she started looking to become a pediatrician. Her plans were then put on hold when she got into an accident, her motorcycle colliding with a small truck. Thankfully, her injuries only required her to stay at the hospital for one night, but the cost of the damage left her in debt, a lot more than she already was. Rattled, nearly broke, and unsure of where else to turn, she decided to sell most of her possessions and live with her sister.
How they joined the group: she heard of some rebel activity on the news, and upon learning of the cause they were supporting and how they were achieving their goals, agreed and decided to join. They looked like they needed someone like her, anyway.
Role: medic, mom friend
Skills: her education has made her more proficient in treating diseases rather than injuries, but she’s good at that too. Very good with kids, and gives the best hugs. Is decent at riding her motorcycle, but the accident has made her kinda paranoid and she doesn’t ride as much as she used to.
Other: likes to feel her eye sockets beneath the skin around her eyes, just a weird habit

I love her! Now we need just a few more people to join. I'll be taking the Leader and Second-In-Command roles to fill up space, that just leaves the weapons specialist, engineer/mechanic, and tag-along-kid to join.
