Bryn relaxed a bit when Sebastian kissed him, but he was still squirming and fidgeting. He smiled a bit when Sebastian asked exactly the right question, the way he always did. "I wanna fix the bed up into a proper nest. It feels weird to have it all loosey-goosey, I wanna make it… solid. Safe."
"Okay then. What do you need?" Sebastian pulled himself up a bit, ready to help in any way Bryn wanted him to. He loved being able to guess what question he needed to ask Bryn, to have a gut feeling as to what Bryn wanted.
Bryn hummed, considering. It was another perfect question, and the fact that Sebastian knew him well enough to ask made him happy in ways he couldn't even describe. "More blankets. And sheets and pillows, even dry towels if you have them. And… um…" He blushed a little. "Things that are soft and smell like you."
"Got it," Sebastian said with a smile. "I'll raid the closet then." He smiled again, kissing Bryn once before slipping out of the bed to gather up the supplies. His feet were absolute freezing when they touched the floor, and he walked over to the closet quickly, rubbing one for against his leg as he started gathering up his softest shirts.
Bryn left too, though not for very long. He couldn't stand to be away from their little zone of safety for more than a few minutes. Still, he gathered up most of the bathroom towels and set about making the foundation of the nest. Pillows were arranged in a circle about half the size of Sebastian's bed- just big enough for them to curl up in together- and then layered over with towels, blankets, and the sheets they'd been sleeping on that smelled like a pleasing mix of both of them.
Sebastian came back with an armful of shirts, extra blankets, and pillows. He could barely see over the mass, looking at Bryn for direction on what to do. He was the nesting expert, after all. He was grinning cheesily, head tilted a bit.
Bryn set everything to the side, separating out a couple of the extra blankets with a frown. They smelled sharp, like cleaning supplies and mothballs, and that really wouldn't do. The rest, however, he layered into the nest along with the shirts. Once that was good and done, he put the extra pillows near the top, yanked the last good-smelling blankets in to pad the bottom of the nest and then made himself comfortable. "Lay with me."
Sebastian watched with fascination, climbing with a smile while being careful not to mess anything up when invited.
"This is comfy," he complimented, snuggling in with a contented sigh.
The walls were about two feet high from inside, and Bryn had settled contentedly against one as he waited for Sebastian to join him. He latched onto his human eagerly once he was inside, yanking one of the blankets up over them and then grinning like Sebastian had given him the best compliment in the world when he said the nest was comfy. "Thank you!"
"You're welcome!" Sebastian said with a grin, wrapping his arms around Bryn and holding himself close. The nest really did feel amazingly comfy, and safe. It was quite impressive to Sebastian. He kissed Bryn, relaxing into the warmth around him.
Demons got jumpy and nervous when heats started, so it was natural for them to build nests- places that felt stable and safe until their hormones evened out and they weren't quite so sensitive to emotion. Bryn had been through the process many times, he could probably build a nest in his sleep if he really needed to. He kissed Sebastian back happily.
Sebastian grinned. He'd have to tell the staff not to mess with the nest at all, so they wouldn't undo it.
"It's almost lunchtime," Sebastian noted, barely able to see the clock from where they were.
Bryn hummed noncommittally and pressed himself closer to Sebastian, basking in the warmth his human gave off. "I'm not hungry.
"Neither am I," Sebastian admitted. "Still, someone will end up coming up to bring us food." He ran his fingers through Bryn's hair, not wanting to be bothered by anyone. He just wanted to stay in the nest with Bryn, not have to deal with any humans.
"Just ask the babymaid to come," he murmured, trailing off with a soft purr when Sebastian started playing with his hair. He pressed himself closer to Sebastian, tangling them together until he couldn't tell where he stopped and his human began.
"Okay," Sebastian mumbled, not mentioning that would require him to get up and find his phone. Instead, he stayed tangled up with Bryn, continuing to play with his hair as he rested his head against Bryn. "Why can't we be like this all the time?" He asked quietly.
Bryn gave him a smile as soft and warm as sunbeams and kissed the bottom of his jaw. "Thank you," he mumbled, tilting his head back into the hand in his hair with another low purr. His eyes slipped shut. "Love you."
"Love you too," Sebastian said, the smile Bryn gave making him feel warm and fuzzy. When Bryn tilted his head back into his hand, Sebastian took the chance to kiss at the base of his jaw and neck, lips pulled up into a sweet smile as Bryn closed his eyes.
Bryn made a delighted sort of squeak and tilted his head back farther, exposing the graceful line of his neck thoughtlessly. Sebastian's lips sent pleasure fizzing down his spine, so fuzzy and warm he couldn't help but moan quietly. "You're warm. How come humans are so warm?"
"Don't know," Sebastian started, "But it doesn't matter so long as it makes you happy." He continued to trail little kisses along Bryn's neck, following the natural curve. He liked it when Bryn made sounds like that; it meant he was doing something right.
Bryn let out another moan and then cracked his eyes open so he could tangle his hands in Sebastian's hair without accidentally poking him in the eye or something equally disastrous. "Everything about you makes me happy," he mumbled, and then he was interrupting himself with a breathy sound of pleasure and a tug at Sebastian's hair.
"I see," Sebastian said quietly, lips brushing against Bryn's skin as he spoke. He wanted to lean his head into Bryn's hands, but he also wanted to keep kissing him. He decided to continue kissing, letting out a little sound of pleasure as Bryn tugged at his hair.
Bryn smiled and tugged his hair harder, pulling him up into a passionate kiss as he tangled his hands deeper into Sebastian's hair. Soft moans fell from his lips easily, and soon he was panting into Sebastian's mouth as he kissed him more deeply.
Sebastian pressed into Bryn, hands wrapping themselves in Bryn's hair as he kissed back fervently. He was letting out little noises too, though he didn't notice. He was too caught up in this very moment, in Bryn kissing him like this, the feeling of them tangled together and it was perfect, Bryn was perfect.
Bryn whined needily when Sebastian tangled fingers in his hair, pushing his human down and crawling on top of him so he could kiss the living daylights out of him. It took a bit of detangling, but then one hand was pinning down Sebastian's shoulder while the other tugged him closer by the hair and they were kissing like there was nothing else that mattered in life.
