Everyone has a soulmate. A fact of everyday life, but how you find your soulmate differs from person to person. Soulmarks range from only seeing gray, an imprint of their first touch, to mismatch eyes. Most people only have one soulmark, but some have more and those people are often considered "lucky".

Lotus Blossom is considered one of the "lucky ones", but they have never wanted to meet their soulmate. So to increase their chances of never meeting them, they try to be as invisible as possible, but that tends to be difficult. So when they catch the eye of the most popular kid in their high school, and they won’t leave them alone, life starts to be a little more difficult.

I’ll be playing Lotus and whoever joins will play the popular kid. Gender doesn’t matter so pick whatever. And yes, they are soulmates, though they don't know it yet.

-Please submit character within a day or two, otherwise, I will open the spot up. This is so I can start the rp in a timely manner, so ya know, it doesn't die.

Appearance: Straight short light brown hair that goes to their shoulders, one pale green eye one (Whatever eye color your character has), pale skin, fairly square body frame, smaller chest, lightly toned muscled, and stands at around 5’.
Personality: They're extremely introverted and extremely sarcastic. They suffer from mild autism which makes sensory things a lot harder along with social interactions (Explains why they don't have any friends), and anything having to do with sudden changes. They have high intelligence in anything having to do with math and English, but they are god awful with science.
Clothing: Wears a white or light green tank top, faded denim jacket, ripped up boot cut jeans, and navy blue shoes. They also wear a leather necklace with a lapis lazuli ring connecting the end together.
Family?: Mom, dad, and a younger sister named Myrah.
Soulmarks: Mismatched eyes, a touch imprint, seeing in grey, and whenever something gets written on their soulmates skin mirrors on theirs.
Other: They plan to go to college for computer programming after graduating and so they spend a lot of time in the computer lab.

Cat came into the room kind of late. She had finished off her beer. Her smile a little more loose. She plopped down in the couch right next to Harrison practically sitting on the boy. She saw the picture and smiled. “You always show my beauty,” she said smirking. Her Italian accent that she tries hard to hide always slips when she’s tipsy. “But everyone’s right you would definitely benefit from get laid.”

Appearance: Short choppy brown hair and olive skin. One of her eyes is light brown while the other is pale green. She's semi-short and curvy with a dozen tattoos. Mainly small flowers and Italian words. All of them can easily be covered with clothes.
Personality: She's constantly changing the way she acts to fit into her surroundings or in a way that gets her what she wants. She moves around a lot and usually likes it like that. This home's different. She wants to stay or at least she does for now. So she decided to fit right in and actually make friends. she's only been in this town for a few months but she's already considered a popular kid.
Clothing: A crop top that shows off her rose tattoo and short skirt. If it's cold she wears leggings under her skirt and a sweater crop top.
Family?: Her parents are dead but her brother is somewhere. she lives with a foster family along with 3 other kids.
Soulmarks: Mismatched eyes, written on soulmate's skin is on hers and vise versa.
Other: She loves to draw.

Lotus was holed up in their corner of the computer lab before school working on one of their many projects. They had one tab open with the email request they had gotten and the other with the actual program. It wasn't quite finished yet, but they still had half an hour or so before they needed to get to class.

Cat walked into the computer lab. Quickly sitting at the closest computer. She typed up an essay thats due first period on her phone last night. The google doc she read through was littered with red and blue lines. She was aiming for at least a C but this teacher was really strict.

Lotus glanced up to see Cat enter the computer lab. They let out an inward groan but figured they wouldn't be seen. The other girl was pretty focused on whatever they were doing.

Cat put her face in her hands but then quickly pulled away not wanting to smudge her makeup. She looked up and around at the others in the room. Taking a break from the head ache inducing essay.

Lot kept working though they spotted Cat looking around from the corner of their eye. Considering they were the only one in there they prayed to whatever god was out there, she wasn't going to notice them.

Cat didn't notice them at first but when she did she fixed her smile and posture. She made eye contact with them and gave them a semi forced smile but then looked back down at the computer. Clicking away. She'd never seen them around and had noticed their eyes but a lot of people have eyes like that. She shrugged it off.

Lot let out a sigh as they had made sure not to make eye contact. Eye contact with their soulmate would fix their mismatched eyes, and they had no care forever fixing it. being touched on the skin would let them know because of the imprint on their skin. Everything Lot did was to make sure they never found their soulmate. The way they dressed making sure most if not all of their skin was covered, especially around the mark. It was self-preservation in their eyes.

Cat was clicking her pen as she thought. At one point she started doodling stars on her hand. A small smile still on her face that slowly grew when she finally finished her essay. She pressed print and stood up.

Lot felt a tingle on their hand and glanced down to see stars appear on their hand. They didn't have their fingerless gloves on them, so they couldn't cover it up easily. They frowned and moved their jacket sleeve to hide it.

Once her essay was printed Cat sat down again. Just to take a breath and put all of her things away. She stood up after a second and glanced at Lotus before leaving.

Lotus let out a sigh as Cat left. They were glad to have the lab to themselves but checked the time seeing class started soon. Letting out another breath Lot picked up their stuff, printed an essay, and grabbed it heading to their first-period English class.

Cat sat in her usually seat right in the middle row of English. She was friends with a few people in this class. Well actually friend is a strong word. She knew a few people. She barely even noticed when Lotus walked in.

Lot stepped in and sat in their seat in the very back. They noticed Cat once more in the class, maybe she had been working on the essay due today. That was probably it, they were really stressing now. Normally there were other kids in the lab, but this morning it was just them and Cat. This meant Cat noticed them and now their whole plan of flying under the radar for high school, which had worked for the past 4 years, could be thrown out the window. If Cat noticed them that is.
