Want me to start then?
(Yes please)
Evan drove up. All of his friends were staying at the hotel, and he was doing ALL of their laundry today. He sighed, got out, locked the car, smoothed down his hair, and headed inside loading it up. "Wait-" He headed to the van and looked inside. "SHIT! I bring everything BUT the thing to wash it with!" He then heads inside, and puts it in the basket. "And the basket is so heavy…I can leave it here right? Hope so." He sets it on a table, and shakes his head, driving off.
Cas had put his clothes in earlier, come back for them, taken them out of the washing machine, put them into a basket… and then immediately forgot. "Wait…" He glanced between the baskets. This is what I get for zoning out while I do things… He sighed, looking from one basket to another for several seconds before just taking a guess and picking one up. He left the laundromat and went 'home'. Once he got there, he looked through the clothes and realized they weren't his. "Shit…" He groaned in annoyance and picked the basket back up, heading back to the laundromat.
Evan returned with the laundry detergent, and picked up the basket, loaded it up. "Wait why are my clothes wet?" He sighed and put them in the dryer without really questioning anything. "Oh well. I guess some people are just really nice."
Cas kept walking, quite frustrated with himself. This basket was quite a bit heavier than his own, so he wasn't really sure why he didn't notice he had the wrong one. He shook his head, sighing as he stepped back into the laundromat.
Evan sat on a chair, texting on his phone, waiting for it, when he noticed the basket, and someone carrying it. "I KNEW that that basket was to light…uhm. Why do you have my clothes?" (Remember he still stole a few hoodies and stuff cause he's a poor bean)
"Uh… hi. I'm really stupid and I kinda mistook my clothes for yours?" Cas said weakly, standing on his toes to put the basket on the table. "Um… sorry about that." He figured it would be best not to mention that he'd left a thing or two at 'home'.
'Aw how cute!' He thought to himself as he watched him be a short bean. "Be there done that. I put yours through the dryer, should be done soon." He loaded his clothes up. "Hey I'm missing my pride hoodie! And where'd my deadpool shirt go?" He groaned. "I thought I grabbed it all…" He looked through his clothes more. "And a few pairs of sweats as well…" He sighed and just washed what he had there. "Devans favorite jacket, Aarons skinny jeans, and Alex's booty shorts gone as well. Thank goodness the shorts are gone. No one wants to see him in those." He rolled his eyes and started the washer, then sat down again.
Cas laughed a bit to cover up the fact that he'd actually taken things. He made a note to himself to bring at least a couple of the things back. "I've never seen you around here before. Where are you from?" He asked, still on his toes so he could rest his elbows on the table.
"New York. Me and a couple buddies of mine are off to a HUGE pride parade New Jersey. Just cause. We go to the one in New York all the time, we want a change of pace. And ALL of us are single, maybe we'll get some hot guys. EVEN if it's just one night stands, better than nothing. I haven't seen you around here either."
"Sounds fun." Cas grinned. Honestly, that sounded pretty nice to him as well. "And that makes sense, considering you're not from around here. I'm not surprised you haven't seen me around." And I'm quite good at hiding in the shadows when I'm in public…
He shrugged. "Ah well. What's your name anyways, laundry thief?" He teased with a smile, kicking his shoe a bit, always up for a smile and a laugh.
Cas blushed a bit in embarrassment, scratching the back of his neck with one hand. "Uh… Casper Gibbons, but you can just call me Cas. You?"
"Evan Dimon…and I don't have any nicknames that aren't inside jokes so call me whatever I guess?" He laughed a bit awkwardly, shrugging.
"I think I'll just stick with Evan. Less confusing, and as previously mentioned, I'm pretty stupid." He laughed as well. "You said you were going to the pride parade?" He asked, looking genuinely curious and a little excited. He was still standing on his toes to keep his arms resting on the table.
He nodded. "That's right shorty. The one for New York already passed. Sadly we didn't have the money to attend both."
Cas nodded back, deciding to ignore the short comment for the time being. It didn't feel like Evan was making fun of him anyways. "You have to pay to go?"
"Well we'll want to buy stuff, and gate tickets and stuff. Security shit. Plus we're staying at a hotel. And gas and crap. We're driving in a big white rental van so…oh well. It's worth it." He nods, and pulls out his phone as he gets some texts.
"Ah… makes sense. I thought you could just like… show up, I guess." Cas shrugged. His legs were getting tired, so he had to go back to his flat feet, which made him even shorter. "I'm poor as fuck, so I probably can't go."
"Oh hey. We always have extra room if you'd like to come along." He got off the chair and sat on the table so he could have the chair. "You seem cool, and honestly this is pretty common for any of us. Pick up hot guys we meet to take home cause what else do any of us have to do?" He laughed and smiled, blushing a bit.
Cas blushed a bit as well, the pink painfully visible on his pale cheeks. "Are you sure? I really wouldn't want to be in your way."
"In our way? Psshhh. We're already in eachothers ways as it is. It's fine." He smiled, hoping he didn't notice him calling the guy he JUST met hot. Oh well. He was adorable. "Here. Go get whatever ya need for the trip. Toothbrush, money, gay gear, whatever, and get back here. We'll head out as soon as your laundry is finished drying."
"Yes! I-I, uh… thank you- I'll be right back!" He stumbled over his words a bit, adorably excited. He left the laundromat and ran back 'home'. He grabbed Evan's pride hoodie to give back to him, his wallet, and Nix. He stuck his toothbrush in his pocket and grabbed Nix's papers just in case the hotel didn't allow animals before running back to the laundromat.
"Hm? My hoodie?…Go back and get the rest of our stuff or else I simply won't take you. I'll keep your pet here company." He picked it up and set it in his lap, petting it. "Such a pretty pretty kitty." He kissed it's head, obviously already in love with it.
