Calin pulled his gaze away from the window and watched Oli start the fire and open the door. He looked to the floor to see the others cat come up and sniff him, "Hello…" He said quietly, smiling at the cat. When the cat settled onto his lap, he began to pet her. "She's quite soft for a more outdoorsy cat, what's her name?"
Oliver glances over at Lotus, humming a little bit, "Her name is Lotus." He chuckles quietly, "As you can see, she's very affectionate." He sets out some food for her, which she glances at but doesn't move. He settles into his chair once more and relaxes. It was… nice having company. Calin seemed chill at the least, which he was grateful for. And he wasn't freaked out by Oliver's extreme height and muscle mass.
"Yes, she's very sweet…" Calin looked over to Oliver, a soft smile on his face. He got lost in thought as his gaze stayed on the other. He snapped back into reality when Lotus licked his hand which had stopped moving. He quickly looked back down to Lotus and flexed his fingers before scratching her under the chin.

Lotus mewled softly and nuzzled into Calin, leaning her head to the side so that he scratched where she wanted him to. Oliver watched them in content, his face warmed the the fire that crackled quietly. "She's been with me for about three years now." He murmured quietly, his eyes shutting for a moment as he relaxed.
Calin hummed quietly as he continued to pet Lotus, he used his other hand to push back a bit of hair that had fallen over his face. He glanced back up to Oliver and leaned his head to the side, "It must be nice to have someone to keep you company." He sighed softly.
He nods. "Cats aren't people." He said simply. He never liked people. He was okay with the occasional person, but he was always seen as a monster… Which of course drove him to hide within the forest. Lotus purred and settles in Calin's lap. Her tail flicked back and forth in a relaxed manner.
