Alison hummed and trailed her fingers lightly over the keys, pressing down on a few of them just to hear it. "Fur Elise is my favorite to play, but I know some more contemporary music, as well."
Alison hummed and trailed her fingers lightly over the keys, pressing down on a few of them just to hear it. "Fur Elise is my favorite to play, but I know some more contemporary music, as well."
M rose his eyebrows in interest, grinning a little. "Yeah? Can you still play it? Fur Elise, that is." He seemed rather happy, sitting there talking with her about piano. His leg still bobbed a little under him as he watched her fingers lightly tap the piano.
"I think so," Alison murmured, finding middle C and placing her fingers in the correct positions. She started slowly but gained more speed as she grew more and more confident. A smile was beginning to take over her lips, and she was clearly happy with herself.
(Fun fact: I can play the beginning part of the right hand portion of the song. :)
(Awesome! I tried teaching it to myself, but I was 13 at the time so… I was not down lol)
M watched her play and sat back for her when needed, watching her fingers dance in the gleaming moonlight, which was quickly fading. He kept to himself, his hands neatly on his lap, though his fingers were moving faintly with the notes being played. He smiled warmly with her, tilting his head.
(Lol. I taught myself when I was… 8? 10? Idek anymore.)
Alison chewed on her lip as she came to the conclusion of the song. She pressed the last few keys before leaning back and shaking her hands you with a soft laugh. "It's been a while since I did that… I'm surprised I still know it so well."
(Wowe. It's a long song too. Good job 8-10 you!)
"You did great," M said softly, sitting up forward again, smiling warmly at her. "It sounded great too. Is there any other songs you wanted to play? We'll be here all night, after all."
(Like I said, just the beginning of it. Lol. It's really a short piece in that case.)
Alison hummed in thought. "Heat other songs you know?" she wondered softly, looking up at him with a small smile. "Maybe we could play one together."
(Oh, lmao. Makes sense now.)
M hummed softly, looking at her from the piano. "I can play a bunch of songs. We can definitely play one together, though." He sat up towards the board, humming a bit louder. "What did you have in mind?"
(XD)
"Oh, gosh, there are so many… Do you know… Thinking Out Loud?" Alison wondered with a soft hum.
"Hmmm… I might." He thought for a few moments, his fingers dancing tentatively across the board. He tried a couple notes and hummed softly, grinning faintly. "Do you want me to play it for you? Or do you know it?"
"I know it. But if you want to play while I sing, that would work. Or we could both play and sing?" Alison suggested with a shrug.
"We can both do it," He suggested, moving his hands down to the lower octave. "I think you'd start on the key of b, but then again, a guitar mainly plays the song, so I might be wrong."
Alison hummed and turned backing the piano to play a few notes. "That sounds about right, I think…"
M hummed a couple more notes with the piano before nodding and grinning at her. "I'm ready when you are."
Alison smiled up at him again and nodded. "I'm ready," she said as she started to play the introductory notes.
M waited a few moments to mull over the lyrics before starting: "When your legs don't work as they used to before…"
Amber’s smile widened as she heard him start to sing. “And I can’t sweep you off of your feet…”
"Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love~?" He sung back, reflecting the smile onto his own, usually sullen, face.
“Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks.” Alison was grinning now as they sang, enjoying the time immensely.
(Oh yea, sure! How about we do the morning of?)
(I was thinking just the end of the song.
Also, I'm really sorry I've been flaky lately……)
(Oh lol. Sorry I didn't pick that up.
Ay that's alright, I understand.)
(Lol. No worries. So the end of the song or later than that?)
(Later than that would be less awkward.)
(So the next morning?)
