(that supposed to be nico?)
((Yeah))
(OK cool. Just checking. And should you close this?)
Nico slowly opened the door. As he closed it behind him, he tripped on air. He landed on the ground, orange hair falling in front of his face. "Dammit," He hissed softly at himself, propping himself up.
"You okay?" He asked, looking up. "That looked bad."
Nico slowly stood up, blowing his hair out of his face. "No, I'm fine," He sighed, blushing ever so softly. "You know I'm just clumsy."
He smiled softly. "Yeah, I know, still gotta check though." He said, turning back to his song book.
Nico checked his body for new bruises quickly and then walked over. "Whatcha doing?" He asked, watching so that he didn't trip over wires.
"Trying to finish this song." He said, sighing. "I'm kinda stuck though." He admitted, looking over at him.
"Well… What's it about?" Nico asked, trying to look at it. "I might be able to help."
Eric bit his lip, sliding the song book over to him. "Here, read it."
I’ve sat alone
For oh-so long
That is until,
You came along
Never leave me, I’ll stay true
I wanna stay right next to you
Let your hand melt in mine, love
You’re simply divine
*Let’s stay like this forever**
*I’ll wipe your tears *
And guard your heart
For your fears
Make it a work of art
Darling, take my hand
Please don’t let it go
You’ve made me fall so damn hard
Now I don’t wanna be alone
((I know this is a bit shit, but I wrote it a while ago))
Nico read it over, a very faint blushing sensation covering his cheeks. "Do you have a tune?" He asked, glancing up at Eric. "You could easily add many instruments to this."
"Sorta." He said, playing what he had so far. A rough, slightly toned down form of old school punk rock.
Nico picked up his violin, which he had brought with him. His older sister had begged him to play some songs to her young children, where he had been before coming here. He repeated the tune on the stringed instrument, adding his own twist.
Eric smiled. "That's- that's good, that's good…"
Nico blushed, putting his violin away. "It's an easy enough tune to follow, and we could change it up a bit. It's a love song, right?"
"Erm, yeah, it is." He said, trying to be casual. "I don't know, I wrote it at three am in a Shakespearean passion."
"That explains it then," Nico laughed. "Do you have any other songs you're writing?"
"None that are ready." He said, shrugging.
"Then, do you want to practice an old one? I know Jason's not here…but we don't really need a drummer for them, at least for a short practice."
Eric smiled softly. "Sure. What song do you wanna do?"
Nico thought, then decided he couldn't choose. "I'm indecisive. Why don't you choose?"
"Um… how about Anti-Hero?" He offered, smiling. It had always been his favorite to sing.
Nico's lips stretched in a smile that matched Eric's. He'd always enjoyed that song, it speaks to him. He grabbed the spare bass guitar that was lying around. "Yeah, I love that song."
Eric adjusted his grip on his guitar. "Count of four, Ramones style?" He said, laughing slightly.
Nico pulled the strap of the guitar around his neck, adjusting the instrument. "Always."
