(Lmao, yes. I don't really have a bias, I'm OT7 but Jk is just… pterodactyl noises And take your time with the starter!)
(Honestly, is it even possible to not be OT7???)
The first day of the tour. What a bittersweet moment. On one hand, Atlas got to perform and be with the band 24/7. But on the other, they had to be in super close contact with management, and that was always hell. The first destination was a few hours away and they always took a tour bus in the past. This tour was no different. With the recent release of a new album, they were doing a world tour, starting in America.
Atlas was overjoyed with this being their first world tour. This tour will be the first time the band travels to another country together, he's just hoping nothing bad ends up happening. But besides that worry, Atlas didn't have a care in the world.
(I know right!!)
Aaron honestly didn't know what to do or think, was he supposed to be happy he was with the band or sad that he had to be with the management. He honestly didn't want to think much about it, thinking talking to someone the whole time would help him. "Soooo, what do you all plan on doing when we get there?"
(Also, sorry it's short!)
(No worries!)
Atlas was in his own little bubble, already thinking about songs for the next album. But even the smallest sound from Aaron could easily pull him out of even his deepest daydreams. He liked to think it was because Aaron was in the band that he spent all the time with and not because he was absolutely head-over-heels for the guy. It took a second for his question to register, but before he could answer himself, one of the other members answered.
"Well, I plan on just doing a bit of walking through the town and looking through shops and stuff. I'm gonna force Eric to join me since I don't want to go alone and I'm assuming you and Fox are going to do something together like always." Said the keyboardist, Harley. He was right, whenever the band split to do their own things, Eric and Harley were a pair, while Aaron and Atlas were a pair. Atlas hoped he did a good job of convincing Eric and Aaron that it was just because they were best friends, but Harley knew otherwise. Harley was the only one Atlas would tell his secret to.
(Bleep :)
(Sorry I took so long! I was trying to find creativity and get a good response out!)
Aaron couldn't help but let out a small chuckle at Harley's response. "We all already know that, Harley." He glanced at Atlas for a second, making his heart skip a beat. How can someone like him even, exist? In Aaron's opinion, Atlas was perfect and absolutely breath-taking. But, the other probably liked someone else, and there was nothing desirable about Aaron in his mind.
(It's totally okay! I felt that honestly.)
Harley smiled, glancing between Atlas and Aaron, making eye contact with Atlas before turning to Eric. "Well I guess I'll just have to join Harley then." Said Eric, the sentence dripping with sarcasm and a bright smile on his face. "Do either of you two have any specifics for what you're gonna do?"
"Well! I'm gonna scout out the best cafe's and coffee shops. And maybe dye my hair again since the pink is basically gone." Atlas said before Aaron could say anything. He always dyed his hair himself, rarely going to a professional.
Aaron shrugged at Eric's question, glancing at Atlas when he talked. "What color are you going to dye it now?" He asked, glancing at his hair. "Maybe, I should dye my hair too." He stretched out a piece of his own hair, glancing at it before blowing it away from his face. "It's been a while, and I'm getting bored of black hair."
"I think I want to go to a darker color, maybe dark red or purple?" Atlas said almost in a question. He'd had lots of lighter colors more recently, so it was probably time for a change. "Maybe we should both dye our hair right when we get there then we'll both have new hair for the first concert." He suggested with a bright smile.
Aaron clearly perked up at the suggestion. "That sounds great! A lot of the fans have been making edits of us with different hair colors," he said with a soft chuckle. "And just look at the edits if you want inspiration for what color you should do."
"Oh I have. The best part is if I haven't dyed my hair that color before and I end up doing it. Then the fans think they predicted it. In reality, I just copied them." Atlas giggled at that. On more than one occasion he was impressed by his fans. Some of them were so talented. "What color do you wanna do?" He asked. At that point, Harley and Eric turned away, in their own conversation.
Aaron chuckled, turning himself so he was facing Atlas as he smiled softly. "I don't know, either long hair or an undercut is what I'm thinking. What do you think will look better on me?"
"Well~," Atlas thought for a second, "You look perfect with both… but I might be biased and I'm leaning towards long." He answered. He wouldn't say out loud why he was biased, but he knew it was because Aaron had long hair when Atlas first saw him.
Aaron smiled softly and nodded. "Then, I'll go with long. Should I change up my hair color?" Just talking to Atlas or even looking at him made him smiley and giggly for some reason. Was it because of his massive crush on him? Or was it because they were band mates? Aaron would never know.
"I mean, it'd be fun. But you'd have to bleach yours to do so, and that just takes so long. BUT we do have all day once we get there. Which should be in, like, 20 minutes or something." Atlas said, pulling out his phone and checking the time, a little nod to himself following.
Aaron nodded, not bothering to check the time after Atlas did. "I don't really care, but having long hair is generally a hassle by itself. If I bleached it, I'd have to maintain the color and the length." He ran a hand through his hair. "So, I'll probably just keep it black and let it grow."
"Sounds good to me. To be fair though, it all looks good on you so…" Atlas trailed off not sure what he was even going to say. Instead, he just smiled and leaned his head back in the seat. "We should find a cafe first, I'm starving."
Aaron chuckled softly at the compliment. "We should, I'm running low on caffeine." He moved a piece of hair behind his ear, not sure what to do. When had he come so nervous and clueless?
"Yeah, same here. Although that's probably 'cause I was asleep when we stopped at a gas station." Atlas smiled, his eyes on Aaron. He spent 90% of his time on the road sleeping, 9% of the time thinking about music, and the last 1% thinking about Aaron.
(Bloop~ Don't feel pressured to respond though, I totally understand if you're busy :)
Aaron smiled softly. "I was awake, but forgot to get coffee," he said with a chuckle, looking at Atlas. God, how could someone be so attractive?
Here Atlas was, already getting distracted by Aaron's beauty. This man… was all he could think. Aaron had the most perfect face. The most perfect eyes, with and without contacts. And the most perfect hair, among many, many other things. It was honestly a miracle that Atlas got to spend almost all of this time with the other and that they were in a band together.
Because of Atlas' pretty obvious distraction, there was a silence between the two. It was never awkward for Atlas though, he didn't know how it was for Aaron, though.
