I came up with an idea for a good omens one on one, who wants to join??
I want to tell the story of Aziraphale opening his bookstore, with Crowley helping. I was thinking it could happen right after Crowley wakes up from his super long nap? Maybe there's a ball they both attend and that's where Aziraphale sees him for the first time in forever?? I don't think these timelines match up but I don't really care.
DISCLAIMER I have not read the book yet, so sorry this is more based off of the show. I also don't have a great memory and might not remember some details of the show. So sorry about that too.
There will be shipping happening (if you can’t tell from the title lol) but I don't feel like writing smut right now so it really shouldn't get that far please and thank you. If you're asking to join this please do it with the knowledge that your writing can in in character for the characters. Also please respond with more than one sentence, try to make your replies detailed. Whoever is playing Crowley is going to start (I'm pretty sure. I may change my mind on this one).
(Hey! Do you love good omens too?)
Yes amazing lets do this. Who do you wanna be?
Do you have a preference?
Not at all. I, like them, will pine for six thousand years so I can pretty much play either.
K idk either so imma flip a coin.
Okay I'm Aziraphale. Sorry I'm in class atm so my responses will be sparse until like an hour ish from now. Are you okay with starting?
Uh, I'm at class too, but sure, I can do it when I get home.
Aziraphale stood in the street, staring proudly up at the building in front of him. It was now his own-his very own. The building was perfect. It got good street traffic and the square footage was commendable. He had already put out an advert in the paper for old or used books at this very address. Hopefully, he would start to get the donations today. He grabbed the key out of his waistcoat pocket and walked forward, eager to unlock the door and see inside. He opened the door and immediately coughed. there was a fair amount of dust in the room. There was absolutely no furniture; the windows didn't even have curtains. "My my, I certainly have a lot of work to do," Aziraphale muttered into the paint-scented air. "If only I had. . . . No. Best not to think about him." The certain him had not been heard from in a very long time and it made Aziraphale feel rather sad to think about it. So he didn't. Instead, he turned on his heel and exited the shop, going to the carpenter's around the corner. He needed to put in an order for some shelves.
Crowley blinked his eyes open, glaring at the wall. He stretched his arms into the air and slipped his feet into his black velvet slippers. He checked the time, it was 6 pm, pretty good for a short nap. He thought.
(I'm sorry this is all I can write right now, sorry, I have to go.)
(You're good buddy, don't worry about it)
Crowley blinked his eyes open, glaring at the wall. He stretched his arms into the air and slipped his feet into his black velvet slippers. He checked the time, it was 6 pm, pretty good for a short nap. He thought. "I should check on Angel." He muttered, cracking his neck and standing up. Crowley raised an eyebrow at his plants, they were looking a bit droopy and as soon as he walked up to them they perked right up. "Good, I was going to make an example of one of you."
The angel in question had just returned to his new store after placing several orders for book shelves, a desk, several couches, several end tables, and a bed. He was to live here after all. He had also performed a minor miracle on the way. All that work had made him a bit peckish, but the first of the book donations had been left outside of his shop. He decided to start organizing them before going out for a bite, afraid he would never get them all done.
(I can't see pins, sorry I had gone to sleep.)
Crowley looked around his flat, drawing open the velvet curtains a bit and hissing at the light. "I slept for too long, damn it." He muttered, closing the curtains and fishing around for his sunglasses till he found them. Now he really needed to check up on Angel.
