This is probably not the best thing to do rn since I have too many roleplays and I might have some homework, but we won't mind that lol.
SO I saw this idea where two people live in an apartment building and the showers of 2 apartments are sharing the wall, they're just across the wall from each other. And whenever they happen to be taking a shower at the same time they sing together.
I don't have much else besides that though so we can see where it goes.
-andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s rules
-Please try to use proper grammar, some mistakes are totally fine though
-Swearing is great
-This is an LQBTQ+ zone, if you don't like it, get out of my sight
-Keep it pg-13, I'm not comfortable with writing smut and that kind of thing
-No one-liners, please. It's okay sometimes though
I almost want this to be m/m but it doesn't matter.
Do you mind masc-presenting nonbinary/demiboy characters or should this character be full male?
Also, is this specifically realistic fiction or might we include more fantasy/scifi elements?
((Damn, I was too late. Might I stalk instead?))
You can do whatever you please! I'll be good with whoever you decide.
I mean I'm definitely better with realistic fiction, and I prefer it when reading, but fantasy/sci fi is fine as well!
and @Dances_with_Shadows I can start another one if you would like!
Okay. So, more fantasy elements? Should we do any heavy worldbuilding or keep it reasonably urban fantasy? Or realistic fiction? Scifi? Steampunk? More bizzare elements? Or what?
Hmmm maybe urban fantasy. My character will probably be pretty realistic since I'm not the best with heavy fantasy stuff, but that doesn't mean fantastical elements and ideas aren't very prevalent in this rp.
Maybe something like, minor magic and supernatural beings that keep on the down-low, you can summon demons and shit or make death sparkles from your fingertips if properly educated in magic but most people think magic is total BS or something?
Yeah, I like that! Do you want me to post a template? Or should we go blind?
I dunno? Maybe just jump in and have aspects of characters revealed over time?
That works for me! Do you want me to start?
please do i don;t know how to life
(Lol same though)
Closing the door behind him with a sigh, Atlas slid down the wall landing on the floor. It had been a long day of writing and recording music and dealing with his manager. He wished making music was as easy as it had been in high school when no one was in charge of him, calling all the shots, or breathing down his neck. Yes, only fifty people at the most, it seemed, listened to him but a tiny music label thought they saw talent in him and asked if he would join them. He had without hesitation because he thought it would bring him something, but all they seemed to do was inhibit him from doing what he wanted.
With another sigh, Atlas stood up and went to his bedroom, flopping down on his bed the instant he saw it.
(Sorry this took so long. My family just moved so things have been craaazy!)
Lazarus was pretty sick of this. He'd been trapped in this apartment for a decade or two, and it had gotten pretty old, pretty fast. And the only way to break the stupid curse was to sing. Yes, sing, of all things. Azzi thought it was stupid, honestly, but what was a desperate demon unable to be seen or touched or heard by humans to do? The thing was, he had to be singing in harmony with another, which was even more frustrating. The only thing he had for music was a small, battered old radio that hardly worked. Azzi sighed, and sat on the bathroom ceiling like a sad, pathetic looking puppy (even if he was more reptilian, or maybe fishlike? He wasn't good with animals). He picked a little at his ear, pointy and webbed, and then at his long, sharp nails for a bit until he finally got up and decided to take a shower. He could still interact with objects, after all.
(It's totally fine, take as long as you need!)
Atlas slowly sat up again, starting to hum one of the songs he was working on. It was stuck in his head the whole way home and he finally was able to hum or sing it in peace. He stood up and took his phone out of his bag then flopped back onto the bed. Facedown on the bed, he closed his eyes for a few seconds, but he had already started drifting into a light sleep. Atlas then heard the start of a shower through the paper-thin walls. It woke him up from the unbelievably light sleep that he had been in. He rolled over, his eyes looking at the patterns in the ceiling. Slowly he sat up again and looked around his room. He sighed and stood up remembering he was going to take a shower before he did anything else. They always calmed him down and it was definitely time to calm down. He got undressed and got in the shower, standing in place as he let the water fall all around him.
