(And something popped up where I’ve got to get up anyway. So yeah, I may end up disappearing because of IRL activities)

(Kardashev: So, where is everyone? How come there are no Dreams or Dreamers?)

(De Tearion: And who are you?)

(Kardashev: Sighs I'm a Dreamer and a Dream. And who are you?)

(De Tearion: My full name be Ákle-Ikli De Tearion. I am a Goliathan)
(Me: He has a thick accent, and his birth language has slightly different grammar, so yeah)

(Me: Well, Kardashev's not even technically speaking Common, so yeah.)
(Kardashev: His eyes glow at the name Names have power, De Tearion. You should know this.)

(Me: Well, then technically De Tearion doesn’t even understand him. But, we’ll just ignore that detail, lol)
(De Tearion: Rolls eyes. Everything has power with the right leverage)

(Me: Kardashev does not worry about petty things like language barriers. If he wants someone to understand him, he will make them be able to understand Dreamspeak.)
(Kardashev: Grins Well, the giant water beetle knows the most important lesson when dealing with Dreams: don't let them get to you.)

(De Tearion: Impassive expression. I am a Forestfolk. I am aquatic not. And my life has taught me many things)

(Me: Also, he can be kinda an asshole.)

(Me: Lol. De Tearion is very serious, and broods a lot. He’s also mastered the ‘stone face’ effect)
(De Tearion: Flinches at the bite, then chirps irritably. Learn better humor. Now, why are you here? What be your purpose in this place?)
(Me: Also, De Tearion is one of my most developed characters, so there’s a lot to him)

(Me: And Kardashev has mastered the ability to annoy anybody! He is literally never serious, being a Dream.)
(Kardashev: Mimicking De Tearion What be your purpose in this place?)
(Me: I literally make up mostly developed characters on the spot, lmao!)

(Me: Lol, I guess we’ll see how pissed off he can make De Tearion. And whether De Tearion will show it)
(De Tearion: Returns to his impassive look. Hunting)
(Me: Lmao, you lucky sucker! But, like I said, there’s a lot to De Tearion. He’s one of my oldest characters. I think I actually made De Tearion before Lucitius… maybe… hard to remember. But, basically I’ve been working on De Tearion for years)

(Me: Yeah.)
(Kardashev: Grinning Ooh, hunting what?)
(Me: Sometimes it's a curse, like when I want a character to be mysterious.)

(De Tearion: Snorts. Sustenance. ‘Tis a solitary hunt, I must add)
(Me: Oh, I definitely know that feeling. I have a race that I deliberately avoid developing just to keep them mysterious, but I still end up developing them over time. The joys, lol)

(Kardashev: Snorts and chuckles The beetle hath already figured out my schemes! Damn!)
(Me: Gods damn, but I just leave nothing alone, do I? Like, I'm unintentionally developing Kardashev.)

(De Tearion: Snorts)
(Me: Isn’t unintentional development the usual way, lol?)

(Kardashev: Is silent for a moment, then decides to ask De Tearion what the fuck a Goliathan is What the fuck are the Goliathan?)
(Me: Fair, fair…)

(De Tearion: Snorts again, his mood clearly souring. Goliathans are a militaristic species of, rather obviously, insectile mimics. Of the creatures of my homeland, Goliathans are the strongest, and we are one of two with the most militaristic might in the Forest Council. Supposedly, Goliathans are obsessed with honor, yet what my brethren call honor, I call disgraceful! Hatred flashes in his eyes breifly, but he breathes deeply for a moment to steady himself. Any other questions, or shall you leave me to hunt in peace?)

(Jardashev: Grins Nope! Also, that's boring.)

(Me: That’s alright. Just fair warning, the bug-eyed effect is because his eyes glow. The way the website, Heroforge, does that is a little annoying. Also, the sword next to him is both literal and symbolic, and pertains to the story he’s in. There is also significance to his amulet)
