A and B are the couple that everyone wants to be. They were middle school sweethearts and thick as thieves. Minnie and Mickey, Bonnie and Clyde, Lucy and Ricky, you name it! Only problem is: They broke up last winter and have been keeping up appearances to appease B's family (who are VERY invested in their relationship). The holidays are around the corner and family dinners are unavoidable. So A and B come together to put on a show for the family. But business has other things in mind when an enemy family issues an open fire attack, wounding B in the process. A is expected to be by B's side as he get better and watch over him as times get darker and more dangerous. Can their relationship be healed in the process? Will they be able to come together through blood, sweat, tears, and buried secrets?
So obviously this is a romance, I cant help it. I wanted to integrate some Mafia feels to it as well so we can get that sense of danger and mischief going. I haven't decided on the era yet so that's still up for debate. But anyways…rules!

Just a quarter till five, and the sky was gradually growing darker and darker as time went on. Nicholas strolled along the sidewalk with his phone in his hand. It was flipped opened reading a message from a private investigator that the Abbeys must have hired to help find their daughter. The message was oddly lengthy to him, explaining that the investigator wanted to meet with him, along with others, in order to help them begin to conduct their investigation. Below it, there was an address to a restaurant downtown on the corner of Ciobanu Street, which he was on his way to. As he walked his way there, his mind began to drift back to what had occurred that day.
Everything had happened so swiftly right before his eyes, and yet he still felt stuck in that point of time, yet everything that happened after it is nothing but a faint blur. None of it made sense to him, none at all. When he had first went over to the Abbeys' home, he did not see anything demonic with the girl; he had only seen her as severely ill and suggested to Misses Abbey to take her to a doctor. Only a few days after, he was called back and kept coming over every few days or so. His mind constantly went back to the moment he saw Rosemarie's eyes turn black before he was magically thrown back against the wall. He could still hear the thud when his back made contact with the wall; his shoulder still hurts thanks to a terrible bruise he got from that. The sight of the demon overtaking Rosemarie, smirking back at him flashed in his mind. Even walking outside in the cold, thinking about it gave him a chill.
Strange… It was all so strange to him. In past cases, he was able to find them and excommunicate the damned spirits. And in the ones where it was not so obvious, he still was able to get them in the end. He was not sure what was going on this time, the fact made him frustrated. A sigh left his lips as he shook his head in thought. Deep down Nicholas is worried about the situation, but he was not really hopeful in a investigator being able to catch a demon possessing a young woman. His faith in the idea was low.
As he approached the restaurant, a cacophony of crows rang in his ears. Glancing up, he noticed how some flocked, standing on the roofs around the buildings nearby. Some even landed on the ground close to him. His shoulders tensed up, but he forced them to relax as he turned his head to look straight at the restaurant. Nicholas closed his phone then put it in his jacket before opening the door and stepping inside.

No I do not right now, I was just assuming that my character would be the mafia member and that's really it. I'm just wondering where and what time period this will take place before I start making a character.

Personality: There are many sides to Antonio, but only a few have seen them all. Generally a lot of people see him as calm and calculating yet stubborn and swift to action. He tries his best to be a gentleman even though he is also a bit of a troublemaker. While typically being "down to earth", he carries enough rage to slam his fist down. He does have a resting stone-cold face, but he can be quite approachable at times. Antonio is a kind, caring man but in his own way. In whatever it may be, he is persistent as much as he is always curious or trying to obtain something. He has his methods that he ever so carefully plans out. Secretly Antonio carries a soft warm heart, but he knows the importance of being seen as strong. He'd rather be known for having hard fists than a soft heart.
Likes: people watching, physical intimacy, slow dancing, long walks, autumn, movies, learning, cats

History: Antonio is the third out of five children in his family. Despite this, he has always had the role of having to look out for everyone. He grew up mostly being at his father's side till his father had more serious business to attend to. He always looked up to his father and older brother Paolo. While he wanted to follow their footsteps into the Maestri family business, he was still forced to go to school. Even with school and his parents trying to shield him from the business, the rivial family, the Selvaggios, had always created trouble that put his plans on hold. One time he even had to live with his sister, Irene, and his brother-in-law for a few months just to be safe. Nevertheless, Antonio has managed to get through whatever is flung in his way.
