Introduction
Honestly I don't know why I'm so formal with these but okay, welcome to this thread. Okay, so basically here's what's up.

Plot
A fallen angel ( preferably me ) meets a human ( preferably you ) at an outdoor art class. The fallen angel fell from the sky, their wings completely broken up. They've fallen from the realm of the good afterlife, known as Heaven. The human has always loved art, because if gave them the freedom to fly. After the angel gets, hmm, "rescued" by the human, they eventually bond over the idea of flight, and art, too. Sometime there's gonna be romance, and a good scene where they both take a hot air balloon ride, but I don't know when. :)

  • Full Name: Midas Sawyer Gold.
  • Age: Midas is 22 in human years, though his heavenly years are unknown.
  • Gender: Male.
  • Sexuality: Midas does not understand the idea of sexuality, but does know that he likes what he likes. Probably Pansexual.

His eyes are forest green, and contain flecks of gold inside of them. His lips are thin, and slightly red in color. Freckles dust his cheeks and nose bridge.
  • Usual Clothes: Midas fell to Earth wearing a loose white button up, and a pair of white dress pants. Midas, however, takes a liking to forest green sweaters and dark blue jeans. Midas also loves canvas shoes. ( It's brief, apologies. We'll eventually explore it later, I guess. )
  • Personality In Five Words: Midas is sweet, compassionate, friendly, outgoing, and loving.

Midas… screamed. He was falling from the highest points in the sky, towards a field of green. He didn't know what to do, he couldn't fly, he couldn't ask for help, and he surely wasn't able to stop it. He tried to fly anyways, flapping his ragged wings as if it would slow the fall. Feathers kept ripping off of them, it hurt him in a way he'd never expected to feel before. And with his falling came the ground. The ground was nearer, and nearer, before it met Midas. He fell just around an outdoor art class, through a tree's branches.

(Please, pardon my late response.)

Junpei yawned while his friend updated him on her work. "Ari, I have no idea how you manage to stay awake after class. As amazing as I like it, I can't stop staying up."
The girl, Arianna, was about to snap back at him when her phone rang. She took a quick glance at her phone and sucked in a breath. "I'm gonna have to take this. See you tomorrow?"
"Sure!" Junpei waved as she walked off. It had been forever since he'd interacted with Ari since elementary school, and even then, they were both different back then. For one, Junpei once had a crush on her–but that quickly dissolved and they had been mutual friends, least until they found each other on campus.
A scream and the snapping of branches interrupted Junpei's thoughts. "What the-" Someone was laying limp on the ground.
"Hey! You okay?" Junpei, after a few seconds, went over to the person. He almost seemed…cute. Not now, Junpei. Try and make sure he's alive before you fall for a corpse.
"Jeez, are you alright? God… Okay, um…" Junpei didn't know what to do as he kneeled next to the person.

( It's okay! No need to apologize. )

Midas groaned, and his eyes flickered back open. He set his sights on an interesting, wood-like person. He took in their features, as he was used to doing from the clouds. "I kind of fell from Heaven- isn't this Earth?" Midas asked, shakily. He attempted to stand, though weak at that, too. His entire body wobbled, before he fell onto a tree. "Oh, pity, I didn't ask for a name. I-I'm Midas. You?"

It surprised Junpei to see the person coherent after falling… Wait, how did he fall? There weren't any tall buildings nearby. Perhaps he fell from the tree? He… fell from Heaven? He must be delirious.
"Junpei, I'm Junpei." He shook off his wandering thoughts. "Are you alright?"

Deleted user

"Junpei…" Midas muttered, before he turned around. Junpei would be able to see his wings now that he knew his name. "You see, the ruler there kicked me out and mutilated my wings," He said, cautiously. He had no clue if the other followed his religion or not, so he kept it simple. "They kind of hurt, oh, and not to mention the thousands of scratches this tree caused me," He added, sarcastically.

Deleted user

Junpei tensed at the sight of the wings. They were fake, right? No, they looked too real. "Midas, right? I…don't know what I can do to help. Are you able to walk, or should I call an ambulance? I haven't…experienced this situation before."

Deleted user

"I think I can walk, I doubt mortal hospitals own the technology I need for these, though. Do you have an establishment I might be able to stay at for a while?" Midas said. He didn't know if a while would be a day, or a week, but he knew he'd have to heal himself up. He hoped Junpei would be able to comply.

(I'm wondering what would happen if Junpei just leaves Midas behind–that would be unlike him, though.)

"Um, yeah. My roommate is visiting family, and my car is somewhere nearby. Do you think you can hold out for a minute while I get my car?" Junpei points behind him with his thumb towards the parking lot, which, with Midas, would be a good 5 minutes if Junpei was helping Midas.

Deleted user

( lmao Midas would probably just remain there, waiting on him to come back. He thinks people are that nice. )

"Of course. I'm patient as can be." Midas replied. His words were impeccably styled, and he was way too formal to have just about died, but he managed it. Midas had died before, this shouldn't be too much of a surprise for him. He found his way to a small bench and rested himself, flipping his wings over the back boarding of the bench.

(They're just two cute, soft boys… I ship it :D)

"Alright, I'll be right back." Junpei walked off, tossing his bag over his shoulder. I hope he's alright… What's with the wings? Is he some sort of..? No, I'm probably seeing things from my one-nighter.

Junpei pulled up close to the bench in a blue 2004 Ford Escape. It was a hand-me-down from his mom, but, despite all that, it had minimal scratches. On the back was a magnet of a paw print, with the words "My dog rescued me" inside it.
Rolling down the passenger window and unlocking the car, Junpei called out. "Midas, it should be only a few more minutes, okay?"

Deleted user

( same tho!!! )

"It'll be okay, Junpei. Thank you." Midas replied, simply. His eyes flashed for a second, they seemed to do that when he was excited or when he had some sweet feelings or gratitude or love. During his few minutes, he tried to rearrange a few of his feathers, occasionally plucking out the broken ones. He winced in pain when he did that. He ruffled up the ones that at least had some traction, praying that they still looked alright. Praying… he hadn't done that in a while.

Junpei tightened his jaw when he saw Midas in pain. "So… Midas. Are you named after King Midas? 'Everything he touched turned to gold' Midas?" It was a feeble attempt to distract him, but he was also curious.

Deleted user

"Yep, I was. Unusually, I decided, when I was alive, to change my last name to Gold. It just seemed to fit the old mythology, pity it didn't actually happen in reality." Midas replied, with a lazy smile. "And you… are you named after juniper berries, or something?" He added, wondering some of Junpei as well.

Deleted user

"Junpei, in Japanese culture, means pure and genuine. My parents are nice people–I hope to be the same. Friends don't usually call me Junpei, though–Ari calls me Jumpy." Junpei laughed. "Alright, we're here. Do you need help out?"

Deleted user

"Maybe an arm to sturdy myself, pure one." Midas said, kindly as he could. He positioned himself as best as he could so that Junpei could help himself out. He thought about the terms he used, and felt bewildered by them.

Deleted user

"'Pure one'? You don't need to be so formal, Midas." Junpei shook his head, smiling anyways. "Junpei is only a name, not a title." He offered his arm to the other after opening the door.
"It should only be a minute to walk inside. There, I have a couch that you can use." Junpei was referring to his navy blue man-eating couch. It was called that not because it ate him, but because it was so comfortable that, despite being worn, often made Junpei never want to get back up. He regrettably was tardy to class a few times because of it.

Midas took Junpei's arm, carefully. His grasp was delicate, and soft, and his whole body was ice cold. As the two found their way in, Midas completely plopped down on the couch. It was really, really comfortable. "Sure then, thank yo-" Midas paused, finding a way to be a little more casual. "Thanks, Junpei." He finalized his words.
