Mal rolled his eyes. "Don't be ridiculous, Arabella." He gestured vaguely towards the dishes. "I need to finish these first."

(Thnx. I hope you do well too in all that you do! If you need to take a break, go ahead and take one, it’s good to step back and breath sometimes.)

She huffed and pushed the dish away from her, crossing her arms and pouting childishly. “Is not being silly I’m serious. Eat with me or I won’t eat at all. I refuse to let my husband starve.”

Arabella was stubborn when it came to stuff like this. It was her way of showing that she actually cared.

Mal groaned. Didn't realize she could be such a stubborn woman. He turned off the sink and put down the dishes, grabbing the leftovers that he made. "Fine. But you will be eating every single crumb on that plate." He sat down next to her and started to slowly eat his food.

She shot him a look, huffing lowly. “Fine. I will.” She grumbled to herself about his ‘lack of basic skills’ but secretly was really enjoying his cooking and company. She couldn’t complain about that… he was good at both.
