Angst time.
Welcome unsuspecting person. I’d like an angsty little bxb romance.
Two teenagers, both far from their homes, far from friends, anything they’d call familiar. On their own. One broken, one seemingly, shining star. Would it ever work? Or is this just another disappointment?
Only one way to find out…
Ooft, I'm down if you'll have me?
Yay! I have a lil depressed boi I can use but I'm good with playing which ever character you need me too.
That should work great! I can use my little happy boi
Name: Kyle ‘Kai’ Rurrow
Age: 17
Gender: male
Sexuality: bi-sexual
Appearance: Shortish, around 5'6. On the paler side and has a slight tan in the summer months, soft and shortish black hair that is always messy and looks like he has constantly run his hand through it from agitation, dull blue, icey eyes. Always wears over sized hoodies and skinny jeans, both clothing items in either black or grey with little patterns.
Personality: Closed off and a quiet soul, doesn't have any to little friends because of this, shy and timid, though can be sarcastic when he opens up to a person because he has very little social skills. He really is a sweet and kind boy, just doesn't know how to show it. Will go to the ends of the earth for the one he loves.
Background: Kyle was abandoned on the streets as a young child, given off to a homeless Cuban woman when he was about three years old (He ended up learning how to speak both Spanish and English because of her background) His parents already had two older children, teenagers, and they didn’t want another child so they dropped him. They were very rich and snobbish from what Kyle learnt about them in later years. He took to learning an education from studying in the local library. The woman who was looking after him died when he was about 10 and he lived on the streets for another two years before he was put into foster care. He went to school and was surprisingly more intelligent then a lot of kids there. He was a subject of bullying and harassment, he also developed depression, anxiety and took to self harm during these final years at school. Has tried to commit suicide twice and it not getting any better with his conditions.
Name: Calistos Monet
Age: 20
Sexuality: gay
Gender: Male
Appearance: very very pale, freckled, skin. Hazel eyes, and pale blonde hair. Slightly below average height. Hair is always in a curly slight mess.
Personality: Extroverted, dad friend. Always tells cheesy jokes, gives great hugs, always warm, always gives advice, cares about every single person with all his heart. Will fight someone if they hurt his ‘children’s’ (friends) feelings.
Flaws: Cares too much. He’s very trusting in people because he just wants to take care of them. He’ll often get himself in trouble or hurt because of the fact that he is always trying to save someone or keep them from doing something. Often stresses himself out to the point of having grey hairs.
Other: [Sibling(s), backstory, pet(s), hobbies, etc.] Pretty sheltered back story. Grew up sickly in a small town, always traveling and in and out of the hospital. His mother was never around so he grew up around his father. Because of this he never really learned how to properly share his emotions so he continues his life living the only emotion he knows, a positive one. He lost his brother to a drunk driver so now he forces himself to live everyday happily because of his acutely aware knowledge of how limited his days could be. (He also was the class troublemaker in high school and plans to keep it that way. He really enjoys any sort of attention, including negative.)
Are you ready for me to post up a starter?
Yup! I have to go out in fifteen or so but I'll reply when I can
Cas took a deep breath as he took his luggage and placed it in his room. He had just moved in and was interested in seeing the town. He was in a snacking mood. He went to the street andapproached a small maw and pop store, he grabbed some pop tarts and went to check out as his warm hazel eyes met with the icy blue ones of a stranger.
Kai had never been one for social interaction. In fact he went to great lengths to avoid such a thing. With the little money in his pocket, he knew he needed to eat something so, to the store he went and found something small to nibble on. Yet apparently, the stars went in his favor and he made eye contact with a stranger. He looked away quickly, trying to calm himself just slightly.
Cas felt a strange feeling in his chest, he couldn’t say that he liked it exactly, but he didn’t hate it either. He picked up his hand and ever so slightly waved at the stranger. “Hi-or-um..Hello there!”
Kai's eyes widened slightly. Eye contact was one thing, speaking was a whole different ball game. But he wasn't a rude person, so he pushed his hood down and slightly turned to the older male, "H-Hey…" He replied quietly.
Cas fusses with his hair, “Sorry, That was weird, but I figured since we made eye contact that I should probably say something…but that’s kinda strange…” he trails off, “I’m rambling, sorry, I’m Cas…how long have you lived here?” As soon as he asks he feels his cheeks warm up, “sorry, that was a strange question, I just…just moved here, so…” he laughs slightly nervously
Despite himself, Kai cracked a small smile though he looked down at his feet to hide it, "I-I'm Kai, and I've lived here my whole life," He replied, his voice still quiet but it was slightly louder then before, "W-Was there a reason why you moved? This place is kinda boring…"
Cas pays for his pop-tarts and shrugs, “Just tryna get away from home, you know? There’s a college that I wanted to check out about twenty minutes away” He laughs, “when I went to pick colleges to check out I put my finger on the map and kept going until where I picked was at least three hours away” he feels a large surge of relief as Kai doesn’t give him a strange look.
Kai nodded a little in understanding, "That makes sense. It's always nice to get away from home," He sighed softly, paying for his own item and slipping the small chocolate bar into his pocket for later, "I'd move if I could."
“Why haven’t you? It’s refreshing, like a breath of fresh air,” he sighs, “mind showing me to a park or something? I wanna get used to the spots around my new house”
"Don't have the money," He whispered, but he shrugged at the other questions, "S-Sure. Come on then." He flipped his hood up once more, taking one more glance at the taller man before leading him out the shop.
Cas squints slightly, he found it strange how Kai covered himself. He was quite attractive. He seemed awfully shy, though, Cas felt kind of bad about being his usual, loud, self, but he really can’t help it. “Do you like living here?”
