"Oh~? It is my business, darling~. If you're being bad then I have to punish you. Now, I'll ask you again, what is your plan with that man over there?" He smirked and nailed Gray to the place where he was standing. "Don't make me read your thoughts. I don't want to have to look through your memories either."
Gray tried yanking himself from the ground, but to no avail, “You wouldn’t believe me.” He clutched the sheathed pocket knife in his right hand, ready to strike whenever possible, “He’s a shapeshifter. A snake, A fiend.”
"So, wait, wait, wait, are you trying to help him or defeat him?" He was now intrigued at why someone who is a villain is trying to attack another villain. "I mean if you got some shit going on and he's responsible yeah I can see that."
“He isn’t a villain.” He snorted, “He’s one of you. Now will you please let me go?”
"Well, can't let you go then if he's a hero. He put power restraints on his wrists. "Let's go, buddy." He snapped his fingers again and Gray was no longer stuck to the ground. Raven held onto him tight and started to walk.
Gray had an idea, but remembering that Raven could read minds he quickly suffocated it for use later, “So, What’s your name, mister red head?”
He chuckled, "One: don't call me that. Two: I need your name so I can put it in the records. Three: My name is Raven Hawkwood. Nice to meet you. You can look my name up later and try to destroy me. It won't work." He walked across the street to the Hero institution and walked through the doors. "I got another one!" everyone glared at him, "You people are just Jealous I catch so many alright!" some punched Raven in the arm and Raven just laughed, "That felt good, thanks."
Gray looked at Raven with a bit of offish concern while he walked forward, that was sarcasm, right? “you Heros are monsters.” He muttered beneath his breath.
"Nah, it wasn't sarcasm. I enjoy the feeling of pain. Sudden pain is the best though," He smiled reminiscing. "I guess you could say that's my kink. Anyway, you are going in a cell. It restricts your powers so you can't get out no matter how hard you try." He licked his lips and continued to walk.
“Like I said, monsters.” He scowled. Ah well, he supposed a night to regroup wouldn’t be too bad. This was also an excellent infiltration position. “What are you going to even do with me?” Raven talked too much, might as well gain information from it.
“Hey Raven!” One of the young and ambitious apprentices called.
"OOOh nothing, just going to keep you in here and I have to watch you because of what you just thought. You can try to escape, but you can't. I'm not going to torture you or anything, although I would love to see you tied up looking so…helpless. I would like it if I was the one getting tortured to man would that be fun. Oh well, guess we can't all get what we want." They finally got to the cells that were made with unbreakable glass. He opened the door and put him in. Raven took off his cuffs, but quickly close the door. "How does it feel in ther Hun~?"
Gray made a disgusted face before spitting in his general direction.
The apprentice was about to speak when he realized Raven had a villain in the cell, so he took a couple steps back and swallowed nervously. Villains were scary…
"Awwww are you scared? Well, don't be frightened Darling that won't hurt you." Raven's eyes glowed red, "SIt you dogs and if you hurt him you know what comes next!" The villain in the cage all sat down and paid no attention to Gray. "Now who are you afraid of?"
Gray narrowed his eyes, refusing to sit. Instead he leaned against the back wall with his arms folded behind his back. He couldn’t speak for the rest of the villains in the cell with him, but he would not hurt a kid; he did have morals.
The apprentice, ten year old Zach, pointed at Gray, “I don’t like his hair…”
"Well, Zach I think his hair looks beautiful. I mean take a look at it. It's long black and straight. I have a thing for guys with long hair." He reached through the glass and touched his hair. "See, It's silky. You try," he lifted Zach up and let him touch Gray's hair, "It is silky.." he put Zach back down, "You can play with him if you'd like and if Gray will let you." He smiled softly and pets Zach head.
Gray ducked away from his hand, sufficiently weirded out, “No.”
Zach stuck close to Raven, “I don’t know…I just wanna go fight bad guys.”
(Wait who said that Zach right? XD)
(Yeah, Zach wants to go fight bad guys XD)
(XD)
"Well, you can fight this man right here and there is a corner full of them right there," he pointed to the guys sitting on the floor. "Is that okay?" He kissed Zach on the forehead.
Zach shook his head again, “I mean outside.” he corrected.
“You would put a kid in a cell full of angry grown villains?” Gray raised an eyebrow, “Savage.”
"You don't know how strong he is. He has beaten everyone in every one of these cages. Okay, how about next job I go on you get to come to see what it's like how about that?" He smiled again hoping he would be satisfied.
“Right…” he breathed, but his expression betrayed disbelief, “And I’m Batman.”
Zach seemed to like the plan of going out with Raven to find bad guys more satisfying than just beating them inside. He earnestly shook his head.
"Ask them." he moved his head towards the guys on the wall who were all trying to hide from Zach. "That's my boy! Strike fear into the enemy! Are you going to stay here? I have to watch this pain in the ass. If not you can go train with the other Heroes."
“I’m gonna go train.” Zach turned to walk away down the hall.
Gray’s eyes widened when in his next blink Zach was a fully fledged man, a grown adult with a towel slung over his muscled shoulder.
“It-It—“ Gray stammered, “it’s him!!”
"What are you talking about?" He looked at Gray like he was crazy. (Like my mom does whenever I sing in a different langue that's not English)
