Let me set the scene for you: Puddles reflecting neon signs, rain perpetually pouring over a desolate city because the weather machine broke, ages ago and now it's always wet and grey. Hackers, robots, and corporate culture controlling every aspect of our daily lives. Interplanetary exploration has come to a halt because nobody can afford to go, much less survive. And yet, some still find life. Some find spirit in the perpetual night… and some even make some good out of it.
Jekyll and Hyde inspired OC? Jekyll and Hyde inspired OC. Anyways have a bitchy scientist with a feral middle schooler alter ego who only want to be gay and do crimes. This takes place in cyberpunk future times. have fun.

Name: Lazuli Seventy
Age: 29
Gender/Pronouns: Cis man, he/him
Orientation: Gay
Appearance: https://picrew.me/share?cd=Lq9KIEdOVt a picrew. Will update with proper description later.
Personality: Very quiet, calm, and collected. Would be the last person you'd suspet of murder, he's quite frankly too boring for it. Just a chill guy, but a bit too chill and often comes off as a snooze for doing so. Really, he likes it that way, he's fairly shy and doesn't like being noticed. Has a bit of a dark side though, that will be revealed as time goes on.
Theme Song(s): Little Dark Age by MGMT
Likes: Being alone, rain and thunder, studying, philosophy, warm drinks like coffee and tea.
Dislikes: His job (a professor at a medical school), most people's view on morality, Kantian philosophy, and Industrialism.
Quote(s): "I'm not exactly what I appear." "Ugh, can't you just leave me alone for forever minutes?"
Other: Prepared to inherit his father's company and fortune. Doesn't like it, but will take it if it'll keep him alive unlike his current job is doing.
(Sounds interesting. Can I join?)
(Hell yes, my dude! So, what do you want to do for a character and how should ours meet?)
(I was thinking about using my own character,r and for our characters meeting, I don't know.)
(Okay, well pull up your character and I’ll think of something and see how you feel about it?)
Name: Eric
Age: 25

Appearance: Eric is 3/4 Mexican and 1/4 Korean. He has light brown skin, black hair, and brown eyes. He always wears glasses with black frames and a grey jacket, but his usual attire is shirts with logos on them (or tie-dye shirts), cargo shorts, and sneakers.
Personality: Eric is close to being considered talkative and always tries to listen to what others have to say He is a person who always tries to make sure he doesn't get on anyone's bad side since he has trouble defending himself in a fight. When he is in an argument he would think to himself if the argument is worth his time, then he would either argue or just say "Ok. You're right." He tends to get messy and slow from time to time especially when it comes to cooking.
Theme Song(s): Korobeniki, Katyusha
Likes: Philosophy, Short stories, Maps, Hot chocolate
Dislikes: Robots, Cameras, Coffee, Tea,
Quote(s): "Good ideas come from one person, the best ideas come from a group." "Who are you to tell me who I'm supposed to be?" "Mc'scuse me?"
Other: He is trying to look for a job that will keep him from hitting rock bottom.
Perhaps Eric is like, a student of Lazuli’s? Or maybe he just hangs around Lazuli’s university often? Idk how else they’d meet.
Eric being a student sounds like a pretty good idea.
Cool! So, how shall we begin then? Just with a class together? Or something else? Maybe Eric has a question after class?
Maybe Eric bumps into him at a coffee shop and when Lazuli enters the class, he sees Eric.
Okay! So, should we start at the coffee shop or in class?
Why don't we start at the coffee shop.
(Hey this looks interesting could i join?)
Sure to Soldier-B. And absolutely not to denki, as this is a one-on-one aka no more than two people including myself. Sorry, I just don’t want this to get big, but I can start a separate RP with you!
(thsts okay! Just wasn't sure)
(Would you like a separate RP tho? I’d be happy to start one!)
(Alrighty then! I’ll get a discussion up for that then!)
(I thought I didn't fill out the character sheet for a moment.)
(You did! So, shall I begin?)
(Yes, please. I'm terrible at starting)
Lazuli's boots stomped across wet metal sidewalks, as hovercars whizzed by. He opened the door to a local coffee shop, where the drinks were cheap and tasted like motor oil but gave you enough buzz to get through the week and a hell of a headache afterwards. The bell on the door dinged-an old fashioned gesture he loved nonetheless. He ordered his usual, and sat down by his favorite window, the one looking at the graffitied brick wall, and waited for his order to be called up.
Eric was struggling to look for his class but he just decided to take a small break at the coffee shop before he lost his mind. He placed an order for hot chocolate and sat at the same table Lazuli was sitting. He sighed as he looks at the old fridge which didn't have a screen nor a voice activation system. Eric wasn't too fond of robots. He prefers to use machines that have you do it yourself, like pushing the lever on a toaster or using a TV remote.
“I didn’t invite you to sit here.” Lazuli said, rummaging through a portfolio bag for a book he’d recently found a great interest in. It was an old book, restored, that he’d been entrusted with by his father to decode. It was some old doctor’s journal, that allegedly held some great old secret that needed to be discovered, or else. “But feel free to anyways. What brings you in here?” he had located the dusty old journal with its time-stained pages, and he began to study it with his digital reader.
