An army soldier has finished his three year deployment. He only got to come home once to see his family before it was too bad for anyone to go home. It was awesome, no matter what the government labeled it as. But now his deployment was up and he was going home. He would finally get to see his significant other again. His family, his friends. But he wasn't quite sure he was ready.

Occupation: uh, a nurse-
Appearance: Myra's quite petite (about 5'1) and a has an hourglass body shape. Her skin tone is a lovely shade of medium brown. She has Asian and African American, so she has both of those features. Her hair is black and naturally wavy (not curly-) and her eyes are a dark shade of brown. She also has a cute dimple when she smiles on her left cheek.
Personality: Myra tries too hard to keep her reputation good. She's a bit of a perfectionist (also has (real) OCD) . But she's very kind and loving. She dotes on her friends quite a bit and makes sure that everything in life is going good for them (like a mom friend!) She cares for almost everyone, even homeless strangers she doesn't know. She's very eloquent and graceful and she acts like that so her real personality doesn't shine through.
Backstory: Myra was homeless for a very long time. She had to steal and hurt people (though she avoided killing) constantly, and she hated it. Her parents and a few of her siblings died in a car crash, while the rest of her siblings (and a few of her friends) just died in a fire. She eventually found an abandoned home she could live in for a while, and took care of it, as to make sure there's no fire or any accidents like that (thus, OCD developed).

Appearance: Jude had always had an atheltic build. He had played football while he was in high school. But ever since he had devoted to being in the military, he buffed up. He's tall, just over six foot. His brown hair has the military cropped hair cut. He has green eyes. He has sharp facial features.
Personality: Before he left, he had been easy going, always laughing, always joking. He had loved messing around and having a good time. But ever since his last deployment, he changed. PTSD, depression, claustrophobic. He has anxiety in large crowds.
Backstory: Straight out of high school he joined the military. He hadn't gotten the best grades while he was in school and he had never felt a passion for anything other serving his country. The military was his best option. Jude was stationed near home for the first year before he had been deployed to the middle east. He was only there for a year and a half before coming back home. He'd been able to visit home a couple times during his first deployment. He had been stationed in a couple different states before going on his second deployment lasting three years. He had only gotten to visit home once, six months into deployment, before a war broke out. He saw things, terrible things. He through terrible things. Now hia deployment is up amd he's been sent home.

Jude had been in contact with his friends before he had been sent home. He had wanted to surprise his family and fiancé. He hadn't seen them in close to three years. He missed them, so much. But he was afraid to see them. What would they think of him? He had changed so much. With what he'd seen, what he'd lost. He wasn't ready to face them but didn't have much of a choice, it was time to go home.
So Jude had spoken with a couple of friends, a married couple. Together they had planned a barbeque. After everyone was settled outside, he was going to help bring out the food and surprise them.
As the uber was driving him to the house, he couldn't stop shaking. His heart beat fast and he struggled slightly to control his breathing. His friend, Amelia, the wife, let him in. The hug surprised him. "Its so good to have you back. We missed you so much." Sje started tearing up a little.
Jude smiled as he returned the hug. "I missed you too. Now I do think your guests are hungry, we should feed them don't you think?"
She laughed and nodded, wiping her eyes. "I think so."
The two of them grabbed the plates, Jude carrying the heavier ones. His hands shook slightly but he tried to control it.
Amelia walked out first and Jude followed after taking a large breath

Myra was looking up at the sky, patiently waiting for dinner to be served. She had learned to be patient over time, what with Jude being gone for so long. She always told herself that waiting for a little thing was much shorter than waiting for him to come back.
Myra looked over at the door where Amelia came out of. Oh, the food- her thoughts were interrupted when she saw Jude walk through the door. "Oh my God. Jude?" Her eyes were wide in disbelief. She quickly got up to look at him, taking the tray from his hands and setting it down on a nearby table. "I can't believe it!" she exclaimed, suddenly attacking him with a hug. She was shaking slightly, but that was from the excitement. It was understandable, her fiancé was finally back. "It's really you…" She spoke into his chest, trying to hold back tears. Myra couldn't believe it. He's finally back!

Jude smiled as his fiancé came running towards him. After the tray had been set aside, he grabbed Myra and picked her up. He buried gis head in her neck, breathing deeply. Ge pressed a kiss to her cheek. "Yeah, it's me. I'm back." He looked down at her and pressed a kiss to her lips. "I missed you so much." He murmured.
Myra smiled and sighed with relief, feeling like a 100-ton boulder was lifted off of her shoulders. "I missed you too." She smiled, making a tear slip from her eye. "I'm so glad you're finally back." She looked up at him, a thousand emotions- primarily happiness- written on her face.
Jude leaned forward and kissed her tear away. "Me too." He never wanted to let her go again. He just wanted to hold her until the end of tine. When she was with him, it was like nothing else matter jn the world. All of his worries slipped away, forgotten about. He wasn't ready to put her down just yet and settled for kissing her
She kissed him back, quite happy and content with this situation. She had always imagined what it would be like to finally see him come home, and she had no idea it would be today. It was like time was frozen as she was holding on to Jude. Myra never wanted to let go, in all honesty. She would remember this moment for the rest of her life.
Jude evntually pulled away from the kiss and just smiled at her. He shifted her on to his hip like a baby so he could still greet their friemds and give them hugs and such. "I think it's time to eat yeah? I haven't had anything other than the airplane peanuts." He said to myra
