"Err… I don't really know… anywayy didn't actually need help, I just really don't want to do my literal piles of homework…" Marigold sat back down in her chair, backward resting her arms on the back of it.
"Err… I don't really know… anywayy didn't actually need help, I just really don't want to do my literal piles of homework…" Marigold sat back down in her chair, backward resting her arms on the back of it.
"What kinds? I'm pretty good at math, it is the Devil's subject after all." She stood up, looking over the work with a few nods. "Do you understand it at least?"
Marigold sighed. "Yeah, I suppose… it's just so time-consuming." She said turning around to look at her work again.
"I'll help." Alya stated, pulling a few papers and a clipboard into her lap, summoning a pen to write with She was quiet for a few minutes, the only sound from her was the pen scratching. "Done."
Marigold's eyes widened. "What?! You're already done?!" She shook her head. This isn't really happening, right? "Thanks?" Confusion was all over her face once again.
"No problem, Cutie." And… She was flirting. Damn it Alya, can't you go five minutes without flirting with a adorable human.
Marigold let a shy smile on her face while her left arm grabbed her right elbow across her chest. She was pretty easily flustered, so this wasn't going to be easy for Marigold.
Alya was debating saying 'Can I have a kiss as a thank you.' but decided that even as devilish as she was, it was too early for that. "Anything else I can help with?"
Slowly, Marigold shook her head. "I don't think so right now… but you could always stay and we could just… hang out?" She never ever got to hang out with her friends, if she could call them friends, so she was really hoping Alya would agree.
"When would I ever say no to spending more time with someone as stunning as you." She purred, summoning her phone to text her dad that she was in the human world and not to worry about her.
"Awe thank you so much!" Marigold smiled and plopped down on her beanbag. "So… what should we do?"
"Do you watch TV? I haven't seen any mortal shows in a long time." Alya asked, hanging down from the bed with only her legs.
Marigold giggled a little. "Sure, um, follow me!" She had to go to the living room to watch TV since she didn't have one in her room. She quickly stood up, regretting it instantly. She gets light headed when standing up to fast.
Alya flipped over and caught her, it was all very dramatic. She looked into Marigold's eyes and smirked. "I didn't think you would fall for me this fast."
Marigold dropped her head to avoid eye contact, her face warm. A few seconds of silence went by, she was trying to come up with a good response, but nothing came up. "Thanks." She said pretty quietly.
Alya smiled sweetly. "No problem, princess." She said, letting go of Marigold after making sure she was steady on her feet.
Marigold smiled back shyly. "Let's uh, go to the living room so we can watch tv." She said as she opened her bedroom door and waited outside for Alya.
