Chris shook his head and stayed close to Azai, "No, I'm warm right next to you. I'll be fine, I'll help you." He protested.
Chris shook his head and stayed close to Azai, "No, I'm warm right next to you. I'll be fine, I'll help you." He protested.
Azai chuckled before nodding. "Alright. I think I found a few things we can use." He builds a fire quickly, getting it started before hanging his hoodie beside it, removing his shirt as well. He sighs and glances at Chris. "Are you sure you're warm?" He asks gently, his eyes scanning over the other in concern.
Chris smiled gently back at him and gives him a thumbs up, "Yeah I am, don't worry." He assured.
He nods and smiles a little at the other. "Okay… do you need-" He was cut off by a loud thud upstairs and his eyes widen a little bit. "What was that?" He asks curiously, glancing over at Chris.
Chris jumps at the noise and looks up and back down at Azai, "I-uh no clue." The thump sounded again, louder this time, causing Chris to jump again, "Maybe we should check it out?" He asked nervously.
"Aw hell no. I have seen way to many horror movies to see what happens. At least let me find some salt or something." He said, his eyes on the ceiling.
Chris too, looked up at the ceiling. After a few seconds another crashing thud sounded and a eerie blue light peeked through the floorboards. "And I'm out." Chris decided and turned to go to the door, "I'd rather be stuck in the rain then being in an abandoned house with a demon!" He was scared but he obviously didn't want to show his boyfriend that he was scared.
His eyes narrow. "Spirits are usually calm unless you do something to anger them…" He mutters, grabbing his shirt and hoodie. "But its most likely this one is angry… What time is it?" He asks softly. He walks quietly towards the door, his eyes scanning the blue light. He cursed quietly, gently grabbing Chris' hand.
Chris checks his phone which was on low battery, “9:04.” He answered, “Its getting late…” he sighed.
"Let's try and get home." He mutters. "We need to get out of here." He whispers before looking around the house. He reached for the door knob. "Love… did you lock the door when you came in?" He asks quietly.
"No of course not. There wasn't a lock." Chris answered, a puzzled look on his face, before it changed into fear, "D-don't tell me it won't open." He exclaimed and then more quietly to himself he muttered, "This is too much like a horror movie, I can't stand it…"
"It's locked." He breathed. "It's fine… It's going to be fine… We just need some salt, candles, a lighter or something… We can wait this out…" He whispers, holding on tightly to Chris's hand. "It's going to be okay." He whispered, resting a kiss on his lips.
Chris looks up at Azai, holding onto to his hand tightly as well. He kissed back softly when the other kissed him. "I…hope so…" Chris said softly, "Lets start looking for stuff, I'll use my phone flashlight to look. I know we shouldn't, but we should split up to cover more area."
"No splitting up under any and I mean any circumstances." He warns, his eyes narrowing. "We'll do this together." He gently held the others hand.
Chris stated at him for a minute and then realized he wasn't going to change his mind, "…Alright, we'll stick together then." He replied, squeezing the others hand.
He nods before guiding them into the kitchen. He managed to find some salt before looking around for candles, or something that would help.
Chris followed and turned on his phone flashlight, using it to look around the kitchen. Outside thunder and lightning crashed and inside, the blue light still shone, glowing slightly brighter than before.
"I found some candles!" He calls, a small breath leaving his lips. "Matches… Where are the matches…there has to be something we can use…" He mumbles.
He smiles back delightedly and begins searching for matches as well. Eventually he found an old and dusty match box and dusted it off, causing him to quietly sneeze. He opened it and found a few matches inside, “Azai! I found some matches!” He called as his phone flashlight died, “Shoot. Hurry and get over here, my phone died.
Azai looks up before hurrying to the others side. "Okay, good. Let's go set up camp in the living room." He lights a candle before smiling warmly at Chris.
He nodded, “Okay, let’s do it.” He said with a smile and sat on the old dusty couch in the living room.
He follows after before setting up a salt circle for them to get into. He settles beside the other, kissing his forehead gently before lighting a few of the other candles. "I'm sure things will be fine…" He mutters.
Chris leaned up against Azai, not saying anything. He was still nervous but believed that his boyfriend could get them out of there.
Azai made sure to keep Chris warm and comfortable, his eyes shutting for a moment as the fire crackled beside them. He kept quiet as well, his hand running through Chris's hair.
Chris’s eyes constantly flicked up to the ceiling whenever he heard a weird or unsettling sound. His face by now had creased into a frown, I gotta see what’s making all that racket…but I know Azai won’t let me.
