Eli hadn't so much as kicked off as his shoes. He turned so his face was pressed into the couch. He yawned loudly. "I'm sleepy." He slurred quietly. He curled up, well as much as he could on the couch.

“Drink some water before you fall asleep.” Jay said handing him the cup. He then pulled off Eli’s shoes and set them by the door.
Eli took the water from him, managing only to spill a small amount on himself. He gulped it down and thrust his arm out, in Jay's general direction. He couldn't see very well.
Jay walked back and took the empty glass, “You’re an idiot, you know that?”
Eli put a pillow over his face. "So are you." He grumbled.
Jay lightly smiled, “Whatever you say. Now go to sleep.” He day down in an armchair and re opened his book.
"Okay." Eli hugged the pillow to his chest. He closed his eyes and was snoring in minutes.
Jay stifled a small laugh, he read for a while and then went to go make dinner
Eli woke up hours later, sober, and with a raging headache. He groaned as he sat up.
Jay came back to the living room, “Are you alright? Do you need some aspirin?” He went over and sat next to him, to feel his head.
Eli groaned again. "You're so loud." He covered his ears. He leaned into Jay's hands, sighing. "Just keep doing that." He murmured.
Jay blushed but kept his hands on his head and lowered his voice, “Are you hungry?”
Eli nodded. "Starving." His stomach growled. He didn't want Jay to remove his hands but he was really hungry.
Jay took his hands of Eli’s head and smiled, “Alright come to the dining and I’ll get you some food, pancakes, sound good?”
Eli nodded, then stopped when the movement hurt his head even more. He got up and walked to the dining room, running a hand through his hair.
Jay followed him and got pancakes, syrup, and butter for Eli and himself. “You need to get over your addictions,” he said after they sat down next to each other
Eli shrugged. "Like you've never drank too much alcohol before." He said before stuffing his face with pancakes.
Jay blushed slightly, “You’re right but at least get some help for your heroin addiction…”
Eli rolled his eyes. "Fuck off, I'm fine." He finished his plate rather quickly.
Jay frowned but stayed quiet and finished his food as well.
Eli stood up and put his plate in the sink. "I'm going to shower."
“Okay. If you need anything, I’ll be in the living room, reading.” Jay went over to the sink and quickly washed the dishes.
"You're always reading." Eli teased. He got clean clothes out of his room then went to the bathroom and showered.
Jay smiled at his comment and sat back down on the couch to read
Eli stepped back into the living room, freshly showered and in clean clothes. He plopped down on the couch and massaged his temple.
