She took out the red pieces "Red, you go first." She quickly set up the board and waited for his move.

They played checkers for about half an hour.

"Fleur! Asher! Dinners ready," Her mom called, causing her to nod at Asher before putting the game away and walking to the kitchen.

Her mom and dad already had pizza on their plates and were making their way to the living room, playfully arguing about what movie to watch.
"Take as much as you want." Fleur said, handing Asher a plate before starting to fill hers.

"T-Thanks…" He grabs two pieces

She nodded and walked into the living room, sitting on the floor happily.

He followed sitting next to her.

"Any movie you want to watch Asher?" Her mom asked, looking at him.
Fleur started eating, waiting for him to choose.

"Idk…Happy death day?"

"Sure," Her mom grabbed the movie and put it in quick, sitting on the couch next to her dad. Fleur smiled and looked over at Asher, grabbing his hand and taking another bite of her pizza.

Asher blushed brightly. "…"

The movie started playing and Fleur held onto Asher's hand, not worrying about what her parents would say. She quickly finished her pizza and laid on her stomach facing the TV.

Asher finished his smiling a little.

She looked at him and smiled, silently watching the movie.

He lays down next to her on his back.

"Are you enjoying the movie?" She whispered, glancing over at him.

"Yep!" he said quietly.

She smiled "That's good," She laid her head on her arms and snuggled a little closer to him.
