I've always seen zombie RP's where its been going on for a while, or its ending. But I've honestly never seen one where its just starting.
Anyway, I'm thinking collage students, maybe seniors in high school. Because ya' know, something always seems to go wrong peoples senior year. (Distant crying)
I'm just looking for some comedy, maybe some romance, but over all ZOMBIES!
For obvious reasons this will be Rated M for gore. :)
If you do wish for this to have romance in it, please let me know. Because I would prefer for it to be M×F.
Have some rules,
-curse if ye so wish but tread lightly for the walls have eyes
-
tell me if you're gonna dip
-keep the romance pg-13
-punctuation!!!! Jehchdnsm I don't even care if its 100% correct, just please use it.
Temp will be posted if you want one, but TBH I don't care for them. I like being descriptive rather than taking time to fill out the temp.
(I'm in so many rps buuuuuuuuut… may I?)
(First order of business! Would you like this to be romance?)
(I think it might be interesting, but not having it in like an obvious way if you get what I mean? Like they show no signs whatsoever of even thinking of each other as more than friends but then like a lot further down the line perhaps they start to see each other in a new light. I dunno, it's just a thought.)
(Oooh, I like that idea! Alrighty. Would you prefer the male or female?)
(I have no preference, though I think I need to get used to working with more female characters rather than male ones.)
(Aye, felt that. Do you want a template? Or just dive right in? also collage or highschool? Sorry I feel like I'm asking so many questions.)
(No no it's okay! Ask as many questions as you like, it is your rp after all and I'm sure you want everything to run smoothly. If you're more comfortable with describing as you go then I can work with that, and I think college would be a good age.)
(College it is! I'll post the starter in a few. :))
(Sounds good! If I don't respond straight away then I do apologise, it's 4AM for me)
(Oh my gosh please sleep. Take care of yourself.)
That day had started like any other. Five (5) over due papers, late to a class, a cup of coffee in hand. Stephen wasn't sure where it all went wrong- what had triggered the apocalypse.
Class went as normal. The Professor giving some lengthy lecture that had Stephen half paying attention. His notes where a mess, with small doodles scattered about the paper- he had forgotten his laptop that day- and most of his writing barely looked like English.
The lecture ended, with only the incident of a kid face planting into their desk. The whole class had laughed at that.
It was refreshing to get a good laugh in every now and again. Especially when Stephen was sure that, that could have been him if only a few more minutes had passed.
The library was practically buzzing that day. Students desperately trying to study for a class they just couldn't fail. Stephen being one of them. He'd had all week to study, make sure that he actually knew what would be on the test, but he had left that for the last minute. Perhaps that was a mistake on his part- but he was plenty sure that if he'd been anywhere else that day, he would have died.
It wasn't like Mandy to be late, she was always the hardworking student who stuck to a schedule and was always on time. However it seemed like her internal clock knew that something was going to go wrong.
Amanda Goodfellow, the straight A student. That's all anyone ever knew her for. She wasn't athletic, she couldn't sing very well, Mandy was just that nerdy girl with big round glasses who was only known for being a goody-two-shoes. She just wanted to do well in school, and who could blame her?
She arrived 5 minutes late to Chemistry, but made up for the lost time by profusely apologising and handing in the three essays that were due that day. Luckily the teacher liked her—that was at least one perk to being a good student.
The lesson ran as smooth as always and soon enough it was over. Assignments were set, with the majority student body having a few strong words to say about it, but Mandy never minded. The assignments kept her brain going.
Mandy had a free period next, which she usually used to make a start on whatever work she had been set in the previous lesson, but today she needed to return several books back to the library. That section of the main building was unusually over packed—she assumed the cause of this was the general laziness of some students who had fallen behind in their classes. As much as the girl would have loved to be one of those people who took time to relax rather than think of work, it had been drilled into her that it was better to keep on top of everything rather than slack. At least that's what her father always told her. She handed the returning books to the desk after waiting in the long line of students who were looking for group study rooms, and decided to wander around the shelving to see what other books took her fancy. She never took out the same books twice, not when there was so much she wanted to know.
Turns out, all of that extra reading proved to come in handy. Never once did she think that being a book worm would save her life.
Whatever Stephen had been studying wasn't able to hold his attention for long. He would zone out, or start looking around at everyone. He even almost fell asleep, face first into his book a few time.
Maybe flunking the class wouldn't be so bad- he could always just explain to his parents. Besides its not like they ever expected much from him.
Stephen had always been just barely passing. He was the kid who skipped most of his classes in high school, and had went to summer school. As far as his parents where concerned. This whole college thing wouldn't even last a full year.
But Stephen had been determined to prove them wrong, he'd show up his older brother somehow. That was why he had even considered college. Now, he wasn't so sure.
Stephen's phone rung, and he took that as his que to take a break. He closed his book and stood stretching out, before answering.
"Hello hello," he said in an overly enthusiastic tone.
"Where are you?" Stephen raised an eyebrow at his brothers panicked sounding voice.
"School. What? Expected me to be skipping or something." He was making his way to the front desk. He would check out the book and study in his room later. The commotion of the library was getting in his nerves.
Michel cursed, "get somewhere safe. There's some kind if terrorist attack going on in the city right now."
This had to be some kind of prank, it wasn't like Michel to worry about him. Besides, if there was some kind of attack going on the safest place had to be the school. Besides that the library was smack-dab in the center. Things had to- a scream had Stephen turning his head.
Who screamed in a library?
"Stephen get to-" but Michel was cut off when some ran into Stephen, making him drop his phone.
